Cisco Application :: 3750G - Maximum TCP Connections Statistics
Mar 6, 2012
I have a little problem...I want to see the maximum tcp connections that I had on my Cisco. I tried using show ip statistics but it's not working. I have a Cisco Catalyst 3750G (WS-C3750G-48TS)
I'm running v4.3.5 in our WAAS environment. At the CLI of one of our 7341 WAEs, there are several connections that show up [code] However, in the Central Manager nothing shows up - not even empty graphs - when I click on a device and go to monitor/connections statistics. After a few minutes, I do get an error message that states "Error retrieving connection stats. Please ensure that the device is online and then refresh." By the way, I get all other statics in the GUI such as Optimization Details Report, Traffic Summary Report, etc. Another thing, these WAEs are behind a router and supposedly the ports to allow access to/from the WAEs and other data is allowed through the firewall.
Is there some special port that needs to be opened on the firewall to allow for 'connection statistics' information displayed, that doesn't need to be opened for the other statistics to display? Or could this be a bug in the software?
We use Cacti to get interfaces statistics of a ASR1002 router (version 03.04.02.S.151-3.S2).A new GRE tunnel has been created, but unfortunately we are not able to get basic interface average during the day. What is surprising is the fact the graphs are built on the night only.
It seems as soon as we exceed some level of Bandwidth (~ 700-800k) the tool does not get the information. The OID I try to get are ifHCInOctets (.1.3.6.1.2.1.31.1.1.1.6) and ifHCOutOctets (.1.3.6.1.2.1.31.1.1.1.10) and some other interface statistics for both 64 and 32 bits. [code]
I have a computer connected to a Switch3750G and another computer connected to another Switch3750G. Theses switches are connected through a Optical Fiber link in the uplinks of the boths Switchs 3750. The computers are connected in the access ports, this ports works at 1Gbps. My question is Which is the maximum transfer rate that should reach between these two computers.
We are experiencing output drops on our 3750G-12S (IOS 12.2.55).
I have monitored throughput with MRTG, but it doesn't seem that high compared to that the 3750G is supposed to handle 17.8 Mpps.
The 3750G's are stacked, running ospf, qos, multicast (IPTV) and etherchannel. Is the maximum throughput reduced by stacking or any of the other features?
I don't know if one can estimate what the maximum throughput is per ASIC or per port, but on one of the ASICs that is having drops the peak unicast load is 1.3 Mpps and multicast Mpps is 0.9 Mpps. Total ~2.2 Mpps.
This doesn't seem high at all and I don't understand why the drops are appearing. What I can do to find out the reason for these drops?
We have a PIX 535 with unlimited lisence, it has 1,048,953 in use connections because the timeouts have been changed to 24 hour. I am addressing this issue but was wondering why its so high when the max concurrent sessions is supposed to be 500,000 as listed in the product spec. Also when it reaches it max and cannot allocate a connection what PIX syslog error message number would it send?
Building a dmvpn network with 2911 hub router.Anyone have a clue how many simultaneous vpn connections can be used? The amount of transferred data is very small.
We are having random issues of users not being able to connect to our wireless network consistently. The users will have successfully accessed the network previously but then will have difficulty associating to the network. After a period of time, the association appears successful again. My first thoughts were that there was a restriction on the number of clients that could associate to a given AP at any one time. This is the equipment we have:1x Cisco Wireless Control Server (WCS) 6.0.181.04x Cisco 5508 Wireless LAN Controllers 6.0.196.060x Aironet 1142N Lightweight Access Points (LAP) Is there a hard or recommended maximum number of clients per LAP? If so, where is this defined? From what I have read on these forums, Cisco apparently recommends about 25 clients per AP but I can not find any official documentation to support this. When I go to WCS Home > General > Top APs by Client Count, the top AP reports 20 clients. However, if I click on the AP Name and go to the Current Associated Clients tab, it is only listing 8 clients - why is this?
I have a BT Home Hub 3 and quite often get messages "cannot connect to network". I have many (>20) devices connected. Have I reached the limit? With four kids in the house the pressure to connect even more devices is growing.
Is there a maximum number of licenses for connections to a 877?The reason I ask is that our routers are managed by a datacentre and when I asked for the login details I was told that I couldnt have them due to licensing reasons with no other explanation.
We are migrating from ACE 20 module to an ACE 4710 appliance. [code] When pasting in the config on the ACE 4710 running A4(2.1) code, I get the subject error message when trying to enter in the highlighted sticky-serverfarm command above. Again, this config works on the older hardware and older code.
What are the maximum number of real servers, server farms and virtual servers i can configure on ACE30 module,Is there any documentation available on cisco site where i can check this? Does it depend on the hardware or does it depend on the software version?
Has any come across show ver memory details on 3750G-48PS as below, One of our Catalyst 3750G running software 12.2(44)SE2 shows unexpected DRAM as below:
cisco WS-C3750G-48PS (PowerPC405) processor (revision F0) with 0K/12280K bytes of memory. This would equate to around 11MB memory which does not seem right... Is it a known IOS bug?
We have recently transitioned one of our Ecommerce products to a new data center, at which we now use a one-armed load balancing approach rather then the routed load balancing approach we used previously. This is casuing us some issues as we generally log the source IP address a user comes in on when he fills out an application. Now the logs only show the natted ip address recieved by the load balancer, which does us no good. Any way to log the source IP address when a new connection is created to a particular vip?
ACE A2(3.4). Is it possible to set a rate-limit connections per sec from any source IP. For example, if a client is trying to GET a web page 10 time per sec I will send a reset or drop that connection.
I have a problem with that the ACE20 (A2(3.2)) does send the connections to a backup real server in the serverfarm. I will how to troubleshoot in this case ? This is serverfarm configuration.
I have four ACE 4710. Each pair of ACE is in one geographical location. Probes are configured so that it is checking regular regex (HTTP GET).When there is need rserver update we change text in our testpage.html (for ie. from "OK" to "SUSPEND" ) so that probe detect fail. In fact rservers are still operational, but should not accept new connections. This works fine. BUT I observed that established connection/sessions did not end up after probe fails. ACE probably wait for openned/established connections to end up and it is what I am askign for. What happens if probe fails but in fact rserver is operational? I thought that if probe fails it also end up/cut all established connections to rserver. But seems it is not true.
We are using a sticky serverfarm with 2 real servers, one server was down for maintenance for an extended period of time. When it came inservice again it was not getting any connections. is it because all the connections had stuck to the other server ? we want sessions to be sticky but we also want to LB?I got it working by bouncing the server that had been online all the time. things started to LB then.BTW the ACE 4710 is running 4.2.1
I have in the moment following problem. All connections become redirectet to port 9443 but port 8080 shouldn`t be redirectet to port 9443. What can i change in my config to solve this problem?
We are using a ACE 4710 with A3(2.6) software release.I had to change our sticky load balancing method for HTTPS to cookie based. However while connections appear to work if I look at the show sticky database table I can not see or confirm sticky entries for the cookie based connections. Here or config snippets to show the config
I have a problem in the ACE 4710. In view of the connections of a web environment. When I view connections on Config> Operations> Real Servers, Conns column values appear very high connections (Example. 1606317769078).Already in Config> Operations> Virtual Server the number of connections appear normal. Version 4710 ACE Device manger A4 (2.1a)
I am interested in gathering cumulative threat-detection statistics from an ASA running 8.3, and displaying number of attacks over time. I am already capturing traffic information via netflow, but am interested in getting threat information.
Is there a way to capture the statistics via SNMP or any other method?
I have recently installed prime lms 1.3 and added several switches to be managed. Is there at this moment a possibility to display port statistics and network statistics for the wired part of the network? I am used working with LMS, but features like the topology view, with bandwidth usage is not yet integrated in Prime Infra it seems. Is there anything to monitor the wired network in Prime Infra 1.3.
I took a switch and connected it to my LAN switch is 2960 with LanBase image and PoE on it I have 3 interfaces in up state - 2 interfaces with cisco phones (6921 and 9951) nad 1 interface as uplink
