Any OID to determine the number of registered AP's on a WLC (specifically the AIR-CT2504).
I've got both of the Airespace MIBs and have browsed through them but I can't seem to find the correct location. I can find a list of all of the AP's registered but our monitoring software doesn't have the ability to 'count' that index. As such, I'm looking for a count/summation of the total number of registered AP's via SNMP.
I have a problem with my SIP trunk config. I can receive calls, but unfortunately I cannot dial. I found out why, and it is because I have one main registered number from TISP, and I am trying to dial with the phone number from the block. That is why I am receiving unauthorized messages when I enable debug ccsip messages. I called TISP and they said that I should always use main number and to send my number via P-Asserted id. or via P-Preferred Id. how to configure this ? I found only this conf.

We want something that we can potentially graph over an 8 hour period, so while the RTMT is accurate, either it won't store the data for 8 hours, or we aren't using it correctly (plus, mgmt may want access to the stats/graphs, and we're not keen on granting them access). I've got a Cisco 2504 wireless controller, and I'd like to rename the AP name in the overview (at Monitor > AP's > Radios) so that I know which unit is placed where and hence be able to troubleshoot more easily.I haven't found any info about this, and usually that means it's not an option, right? I realise the AP name field comes from the device itself, but it seems impossible to rename the device too since I'm running on lightweight, correct?
View 9 Replies View RelatedI matched the traffic statistics on one of my Cisco ASA site-site tunnels with the OID:1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.171.1.4.3.1.1.25.4142 (cipSecTunHistInOctets). I was real proud of myself for a few days until I checked the history and found the OID wasnt working.After some troubleshooting I found that the last four digits (4142 in this case) change whenever the tunnel drops and re-establishes itself. Any way to collect tunnel utilization history on an ASA with SNMP? Is there a different OID I can use thats based on the endpoint IP?

By discovering the network I mean go through all the routers and switches and retrieve the IP routing table from routers and the forwarding table from switches. With the routers I have no problem. For the switches I need to know for each port the MAC addresses and the Vlans. Basically it's use SNMP to find a port number from a MAC address. To do that i followed this tutorial: [URL]
The problem is that I'm using a Cisco 3725 Router with IOS 12.4 (21) and a NM-16ESW module to work as a Switch and when I use the OID .1.3.6.1.2.1.17 corresponding to the BRIDGE-MIB as it follows:

it returns:

From this I guess there's no information on the router about Vlans or anything. Other thing is that when I use community string indexing it returns a timeout. My theory is that this version doesn't support indexing but I don't know.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI am working in Private IT company. The facility is having 4000 users and it is a high resliency site having two core switches and nearly 40 access switches. All core and access switches are 4506E switches and odd vlan is taking core-1 and even vlan is core-2. We are having cisco ip phones 6921 connected as daisy chain.( Phone is connected to access switch and the desktop is connected to ip phones). The Ip phone are getting registered cisco call maneger server. The call manager one leg is connected to one core switch and another one is core 2 same like my DHCP server.
For all vlans the the default gateway is my firwall. The voice needs to hit the call manager, hence we have implemented a source routing to call manager for the voice vlans. the problem is once we down the Core-1 some of the IP phones are not getting registered no matterit is on odd or even vlan. The same issue for Core-2. We suspect that there might be some issue in the DHCP server for voice vlan routing. But server team is saying that there is no issue with the DHCP server.Now network is vulnerable that if any core switch is down my voice ip phones will be down.
I have some tunnels which terminate to my home router. I'm allowing the other ends of the tunnels to use my voice setup. I need to prepend *67 to all called numbers which don't originate from my house. I don't want people calling my home number based on the caller-id number they see when someone across one of the tunnels calls.
So if 5008 calls 212-333-4444 I want it sent to my provider as *672123334444. If 5001 calls a number, I don't want it touched. Can I do this? I can use IOS or CUCM here.

The dhcp server is hosted to WLC the WLC server is configurerd with 1 interface Mgt with AP dynamique mode.

We have a AP that has unregistered and we can't seem to find what switchport it was attached to. It would be useful to know the IP address and ideally any CDP information it had. NAC Software version = 4.8.2 and Agent version = 4.8.3.1.The solution is working fine but the Cisco IP Phone CP9951 is getting restart after applying NAC (or port profiles) at some time interval. Time is not fixed but it doesn't seem stable. Sometimes, it is just disconnected while using the Phone and sometimes when you log-off or restart the PC.The Cisco IP Phone CP8945 is working fine in all cases.We are getting the message of "Phone not registered" and active call is getting disconnected.

This is necessary because I want to take advantage of all the features in the new router. I put the RTP300 behind the first router and switched off DHCP and connected the internet port into one of the 4 regular ports on the back (typical configuration for a pass through router).So everything works perfectly for any computer attached to the router (they can access the internet etc). The only problem I have is the VOIP doesn't work. If I pick up my phone it says this device is not registered to a phone number.
View 1 Replies View Related I used WPS on my DIR-655 Rev B1 FW 2.03NA to register a Brother HL-2270DW Wifi laser printer and my Mac can never wake it up to print. It always works fine from all my Windows machines.It appears as xxx.xxx.xxx.6 on my network. But the router only shows its IP as 0.0.0.0 on the STATUSWireless page and I can't find any way to change that. My assumption is that the Mac can't find it because of this, but I'm not an expert on WPS.Maybe I should take it out of WPS and just assign it a fixed IP using DHCP Reservation. Or is there another fix? I haven't ruled out the Brother OS X printer driver, but it and the printer's firmware are both up to date.Two odd things:
1. I can ping the printer from my PCs but the Mac can't find see in and it's not a Firewall issue.
2. I can see the brother printer in Finder's Shared devices: so it sees it but refuses to interact.

I show up at this business. They have about 40-50 systems. They have a 2003 AD server with a router, and 4 switches. There is also a dvr system on the network for cameras. Each switch is daisy chained together. Everything is working correctly except for the fact that the network drops about 5 times a day. Before they called us, they would just unhook one switch and plug it back in and it would work. At first, we took that switch and exchanged it with another switch in a computer lab to see if just the computer lab goes down. If it did, then that switch was bad. That wasn't the case, the whole network still went down. We had already left, but when we go back, our first choice will to see if there is a loop anywhere within the switch that will flood the network. Then, we were going to see if there was a switch that was getting a lot of traffic on the network to try to track it down. How can u monitor the bandwidth on the switches? They are 24 port switches. The switch is fs750/24 switch.
