i have 3560 switch located in warehouse environments . i need to monitor the temperate of this switch . i am looking for OID value that serves this purpose .

I would like to get the temperature status from this 2960 switch (and several other models. Normally this OID should be:.1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.13.1.3.1.6 But it does not return anything.
The termperature status can be found from the command line by running:"sh env temp" This reports back ok, so I assume there is a temperate gauge in the switch.
This oid is part of the "CISCO-ENVMON-MIB" mib and accouding to the Cisco MIB selector it is supported on my switch and IOS - 12.2(25).
(Another thing I woudl like to monitor and should be supported is the fan status oid (.1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.13.1.4.1.3). That doesn't return anything either.
What do I need to do to get the temperature environment status from SNMP query?
why getting temperature event in 3560 switch, and we checked the Network room Temp it's normal around (22).

We want something that we can potentially graph over an 8 hour period, so while the RTMT is accurate, either it won't store the data for 8 hours, or we aren't using it correctly (plus, mgmt may want access to the stats/graphs, and we're not keen on granting them access). I've got both of the Airespace MIBs and have browsed through them but I can't seem to find the correct location. I can find a list of all of the AP's registered but our monitoring software doesn't have the ability to 'count' that index. As such, I'm looking for a count/summation of the total number of registered AP's via SNMP.
I matched the traffic statistics on one of my Cisco ASA site-site tunnels with the OID:1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.171.1.4.3.1.1.25.4142 (cipSecTunHistInOctets). I was real proud of myself for a few days until I checked the history and found the OID wasnt working.After some troubleshooting I found that the last four digits (4142 in this case) change whenever the tunnel drops and re-establishes itself. Any way to collect tunnel utilization history on an ASA with SNMP? Is there a different OID I can use thats based on the endpoint IP?

I found that in the documentation it requires a netmask as oppose to a range. Is this a bug in the code? I am running code version 8.0(5)23 on a 5520. If this is not a bug how does the ASA treat this type of configuration when applied to an access list? When I ran a quick packet trace and denied access from that range it looks like the ASA doesn't read that configuration properly.
I have a device Cat 3560. I have defined the SNMP Community Strings as shown in the config. But I Add the device in "CA Spectrum" it fails.The device responds on ICMP protocol but fails on SNMP protocol. The device is directly accessable through directly connected switch. [code]

Is it possible to get the switch not to show them? I have to do some debugging on SNMP and DHCP to be able to figure out why I get these msg, but since the switch is blasting out so many auth-msg it is hard to see the debug messages. [code]

I have 5 linux and 3 Microsoft 2008 Servers, each connected to 2 Cisco 3560 Switches. The 2 Cisco 3560 switches are connected to 2 different Cisco 515e Pix. Is it possible that if i enable Port SPAN in any of the switchport and send a copy of traffic to any of the windows 2008 server, will i be able to monitor the bandwidth of the servers (Here I am only looking for traffic going from servers to PIX and then to internet, also vice versa).
Also will wireshark be able to differentiate specify the bandwidth of each servers seperately ?

We have just replaced some 2800 routers for 3945's and the NMS server initially complained about the new router CPU temperature being too high. Compared to the 2800 the CPU temperature is much hotter - 50 degrees celcius as opposed to 20-smothing degrees. I have searched but can't find what are considered 'normal'?

What we purchased is a unit with model no. of HT-IP206, according to its advertisement it has a storage temperature as low as minus 10 degree, and adversely high up to 60degree. While on the other hand, it states that the operating temperature shall be strictly between zero and 55degree. What Im concerned is that what if temperature drops down to minus when a camera is fully operating? Requirement.
