I recently had a issue with conecting Cat4500-E switches with SupIV to CAM. I have recieved error message "unable to control x.x.x.x".Whole problem was switch OID not in the database of CAM. For those experiencing the same problem go to on the CAM:
Device Management > Clean Access > Updates > Update CHECK "all" options and RUN UPDATE!
Is it possible have Content Security and Control Security in a ASA 5585-X? I´m asking because the CSC-SSM is only supported in ASA 5540, 5520 and 5510 and I dont know how it feature ca be supported on a new ASA 5585-X.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have a Toshiba Tablet PC that came with the configfree software. It worked fine for a while but then it started giving connectivity problems. I tryed to disable Configfree by all means possible to no avail. Then I decided to uninstall it successfully, but I still can't return the network connections control to windows. It seems like it is still under configfree. My guess is that some internal switch at the registry level is still saying that the wireless control is not windows.

I'm trying to activate parental control for the F5D7231-4 (2000). When I go to the parental control screen, I only get a button to subscribe now (see image). When I click the button, I am sent to the Belkin UK website. I cannot find out how to get the parental controls activated on the U.S. site. I am running the latest firmware (F5D7231-4_US_5.01.11 ).
Update: I looked at the source code for the page in the router...it's referencing a website : [URL] that no longer seems to be valid. Or is this a problem in the firmware ?

OK so I am following the steps that i got from off the CISCO site on upgrading the IOS, when i get the the part where if says to:
redundancy reload peer
so after i do that i go to the standby supervisor and i see that it is in a continuous reboot loop. I stop the loop and i reload the sup to the original IOS cat4000-i9s.........
SO i look at the logs and this is what i see:

I have a 4503-e with WS-X4013+TS supervisor and WS-X4548-GB-RJ45 card. I purchased a WS-X4648-RJ45-E card and installed but IOS says its unsupported. Supervisor is running 12.2(46)SG software and 12.2(31r)SGA firmware. Obviously I'm hoping this cars can be supported somehow. Do I need to upgrade software or firmware, or return the linecard and get equivalent supported card? Oh, system is running Catalyst 4500 L3 Switch Software. (cat4500-IPBASEK9-M)

Suddenly it stopped working.The updation of IP from ISP is happening @ chnageip.com site, but when we ping the hostname, it is not resolving to new ip and is not pinging.Our users outside the coporate's internal network is unable to access.
i'm trying to use VNC as a remote desktop i was told to forward port 5900 in order to connect. but whatever i do i still an error saying that the port is not forwarded..Connection test failed.VNC Server appears to be behind a NAT router with IP address x.x.x.x. You will need to configure that router to forward port 5900 to this computer before you can connect to VNC Server over the Internet.as you can see here the port is forwarded to the server computers local IP.i have no firewalls active, and no anti-virus software that could be blocking VNC.

I'm unable to maintain a connection with an FTP host outside my network through my Cisco 871W Wireless/Wired router. I am able to establish a connection with the external FTP server, but when I attempt to transmit files I get repeated disconnections and failures.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a Linksys E1000 wireless-n router. I bought the router originally so I could get my Nintendo DS on Wi-Fi. I then realized that DS games require a WEP Key, but my E1000 defaults to WPA/WPA2 mixed mode. My laptop and my Wii connect online with the default settings just fine. My 3DS also seems to be able to connect with the internet router, but not Wi-Fi, for some reason. So when I'm on Cisco connect, I go to Router settings, it brings my web browser to "http://192.168.0.1". From there I go to the Wireless tab, and then click on Wireless Security. I've tried multiple times to change the Security Mode to WEP, and even disabled security. But after I save the settings, the connection on my laptop is lost, and I have to reboot my router all over again, and am back with the default WPA/WPA2.
