Cisco Switching/Routing :: 2911 Cannot Send Or Receive Traffic

’m somewhat new to Cisco routers this is my first attempt at getting one to work. I work in an environment with multiple locations, most are using the Cisco Model: 2911/K9 or the Model: 2921/K9 routers running IOS Version 15.0.We just added a new small office and all I had in the way of a router was a Cisco C1841-IPBASE-M router, running IOS Version 12.4.When setting up the C1841 I kept the configuration pretty much the same as the others allowing for the differences in the OS. I can remote into the 0/0 (outside port) from over the network, I can ping to that port without fail, but I can’t send or receive traffic from the 0/1 (inside port).
I have a RV220W (running fw version 1.0.2.4) that i am trying to configure for a client. They are set up on Comcast with 13 available IP's. I should note that this netowrk is now currently running without issue using a Cisco Pix 506e. Unfortunately, the Pix is almost impossible to configure using the GUI now as I have to load a 4-year old version of Java now just to get the PDM to load. But I digress.I've set up the RV using the identical settings as the Pix on bth the LAN and WAN side. When I do, computers on the LAN side can all reach the Internet ok. However, once I enable one-to-one NAT for an internal server, that machine can't send or receive ANY traffic to the WAN side. I've even tried setting access rules enabling ANY traffic in both directions, and that has no effect. Either I'm missing something, or this is just one more bug in this product.
Even though it was a bit of a step down going from the Pix to the RV220W, it was done for the ease of setting up VPN's as I was ready to purchase a second one for a new satellite office opening in a few weeks. It looks like we will be switching vendors on the router side as my faith in Cisco is waning at this point.
I have a 2911 router. One interface is configured external (WAN) and two interfaces are configured on separate internal private subnets. What is the configuration to allow all traffic in both directions between the two internal subnets?
I am trying to connect a Control network that can not have access to the Internet, or any other network for that matter, to my Admin network so that I can retrieve trend data about the plant that goes into a database. Right now the process is print information, hand jam into excel spreadsheet, print again, and hand jam into another excel spreadsheet on the other network. Reports are printed automatically once a day, but would like a simplified way of getting data from one network to the other without having to re-enter data several times. Current policies stipulate no USB drives connected to Control systems. Even if we could loosen that, personnel needed to transfer data is not available and going to each individual machine would take more time than current system.Now that background is laid, I have two 2911 ISR routers with EIGRP configured, each with a 4 port EHWIC card. The 3 L3 ports on the router are setup as follows: interface G0/1 to the internet, interface G0/2 to a wireless back haul, and interface G0/0 for IT network. I then have 3 VLANs setup on the EHWICs for our Admin network. We will move the IT network to a VLAN on the remaining EHWIC port and connect the two 2911's through the G0/0 interface. I am going to have one computer on my Administration network dedicated to receiving the information and have a program that will take that data and import it to a database. I need to allow only that computer to receive traffic from the Control network and I need no traffic to flow back into the Control network. In other words I will transmit data from the control network to the admin computer using one protocol (TFTP more than likely) and block any other traffic coming out of and going into the Control network.
I have configured multicast(ip pim dense-mode) on two 2911 that are connected by a Multilink( 3 Mbps) Wan connection.The configuration works fine for awhile and sometimes all day but at some point one of the Multilink interfaces stops passing multicast traffic.I perform a SH Multilink 1 on the interfaces and one show multicast packets incrementing and one does not, it just stops.The problem acts like there is a buffer that gets full and after that happens it just stops working.
I can receive but not send faxes. When I try to send an operator comes on and says please enter the number you are trying to reach. I plugged in another machine and it does the same thing.
Mail in yahoo alwaysworked until recent Sunday . Now can receive email but not send in yahoo Yet a sent copy is saved in my sent box. but my recepients do not get the mail
I recently migrated keeping my original email address. All went well, except I am unable to receive emails from one of my contacts. I can send to this individual successfully, but when the contact tries to respond the reply kicks back to him telling him that there was a delivery notice failure. Email addresses have been verified by both of us and both are accurate
At random times, my internet will "drop" connection and will not download any packets, but I am still able to send packets. My Local Area Connection icon continues to say I am connected, my modem is fully functional, and my cables are good. I can get my internet back up and running for 10 minutes or so by disable and re-enabling my Network Connection. If I simply try the "repair", it gives me an error at the "Refreshing IP" step.I have done a full system scan for viruses and I am clean. My drivers are fully updated, I have disabled my firewalls, and still no luck. During the times when it is down, I can successfully ping my modem through CMD, but I get the time-out error if I ping a site, my default gateway, the DHCP Server, or the DMS Servers.I have made no changes to any major settings on my computer, nor has there been any recent additions/removals of any software.
I can connect to my mom's wireless network but now all of a sudden I can't get any pages to load. All I get is this page cannot be displayed screen. My computer shows I'm connected with an excellent signal but I can't get any pages to load, I can't even send and receive my e-mail.
I have a new problem with my dell inspiron n5010 laptop. I use windows7 32bit already and I didn't have any problem with that (Bluetooth), but now I use windows7 64bit and install all update drivers successfully and my Bluetooth working but after 1 day or shorter my Bluetooth not working although It is installed on my laptop and I can see it's Icon in system tray and I see in control panel and device manager that is Installed on my laptop successfully and all Bluetooth setting is checked and It is OK and also I can receive file from other device to my laptop but I can't send, because I don't have Bluetooth Icon in right-click (send to). If I reinstall the Bluetooth driver It works 1 day or shorter again! and after it don't working again! I reinstall my windows7 64bit again and again and install all drivers successfully again but this problem appear all the time. I am sure my drivers are last version and up to date. how can I solve this problem and see Bluetooth choise in Right-Click when I want to send a file. Note that I can receive files but I can't SEND!
We are upgrading from a Pix 515e to a ASA 5510 with CSC SSM. We cannot send outbound email or receive any email from the outside world. I have placed a call with Cisco Support with no luck. [code]
I've been having this problem on my desktop and it's really annoying when i try to play online games that need a constant connection.I have Windows XP and i'm using a wireless connection via a wireless USB adapter. The problem is that the internet is running fine but at random intervals it starts to not send or receive any packets. This will usually cause my to disconnecting during a game causing other players inconvenience. After I d/c the internet will usually take 5-30 seconds to start sending and receiving packets again and regain connection.
Yesterday, I installed the N450 DB and it was probably the easiest install I've ever had to do. One problem though, I can now no longer send or receive email thru Outlook Express 6. Keep getting this message 'The host 'mail' could not be found. Please verify that you have entered the server name correctly. So i have a dell latitude e6400 laptop running windows XP. Now whenever I connect to my home wireless network, it will connect fine but randomly it will stop sending or receiving data. Therefore i cannot connect to any websites and i get a connection error. I check my connection though and it is running through an excellent connection.

We are having troubles getting a 10Gig interface to come up with a carrier... it shows down down.We are using X2-10GB-LR on a 6500 and SM fiber, distance to carrier hand off is about 90 feet.

Our carrier is sending at +5db. Currently the interface is down.
My question is; would the interface even come up if it is receiving a powerful signal?

A company I work for has a number of CSM modules (WS-X6066-SLB-APC) installed in 6513 chasis switches. The CSM modules are running version 4.2(14)These CSM modules are configured to load-balance a number of vservers via serverfarms, each serverfarm containing multiple real servers.
The company is facing a problem with what seems to be related to return code checking. Every once in a while a server will suddenly not receive any traffic for 5 minutes. This always occurs right after the server has sent a HTTP 503 return code. However we cannot see in the CSM logs that the CSM module has actually disabled the real server. For other serverfarms which are running regular HTTP and/or ICMP health checks to real servers we can clearly see in the CSM logs when a real server has been temporarily disabled due to health check failures.
The return code checking is set to disable a real server for 300 seconds after the CSM has received five HTTP 503 responses from the real server. If we check the real server log however we cannot find more than that single 503 return code right before the server stops seeing any incoming traffic unless we move back at least hours in time.I have tried to figure out what time frame those 5 return codes must be received within for them to count towards the maximum allowed return codes, but nowhere in no documentation can I find any information about this time frame.For all I know the CSM could keep track of every incoming 503 forever, until the maximum of five 503's is reached, and then the server is disabled for 300 seconds.
I just got my dad's old notebook (VAIO VPC F223FB) which is better than my older one. So, I did a backup and then managed to clean install a Windows 7 Professional x64.At first I had a problem with the drivers, because the internet wasn't connecting and the USB ports weren't detecting my External Drive. So, I tested other USB port and got it. Installed the drivers and I could connect to the wireless network. But it doesn't detect the ethernet cable! And I want it detecting because then it's faster. I already tried downloading the Ethernet Controller driver. At first, I downloaded through Sony's support site but it didn't recognize the driver. Now, it recognizes but still doesn't connect it. And when I tried Solving Connection Problems, it said the network gateway was accessible but Windows can't receive Internet network traffic.

I have a RV042 in a brach office connected via working VPN Tunnel to a RV082 central office. I want to route all traffic from the brach office to the RV082 in the central office.
I am using Cisco 2911 & IOS version is 15.1. My problem is that after some days (e.g. 15-20 days), the routing table suddenly stops updating & then I have to enter the default route again to make it up. I am using Track 1 to track default route here. After primary link goes down, the Track is also going down but after coming the primary link up, the track is not coming up. So, I have to add the default route again to make it up.
I can't seem to send config changes to our syslog server on a 2950, I'm fine with 2960's and 3750's. The Cisco 2955 is using the latest IOS c2955-i6k2l2q4-mz.121-22.EA14.bin.
I have a snmp trap sent every 30 seconds from one of my cisco switches (a stack of 3750 to be precise): ccStatusMemberStatusChange. Do you know what it is and why it is sent continuously?
I currently have 90 remote locations that have PIX501's. They are all running 6.3 on them. All of these locations are creating an IPSEC VPN to my ASA 5520 (8.4) at the data center. Web access at the remote locations is currently being handled with ACL thru split tunnels. This is getting increasingly not fun as I have to reach out and touch them one at a time whenever I have to allow more access to the net. Code...
I would like to keep my split tunnel (if possible) for ports 443 and 21. I allow access to "any" on those ports and have no plans to change it.
Can I send port 80 down the VPN tunnel to the Proxy/Web Filter and then return the results to the Remote Client.
I cannot get my server to send outgoing traffic through my network. I.e. If i try to connect to any of my services i get a very weak connection. Now, i can still CONNECT, i just don't get any data flow. I cant even PING the server internally, it just times out. Now, regardless of whether i use my internal IP/external domain, i get the same issue. I logged onto my computer and tried a speed test the download was normal (around ~20mbit) but the upload times out.
Here is the fun part, if i connect to the server using a switch, everything works fine! Is it my router or some stupid configuration issue? Router is a WRV54G (I hate this thing). Server is running windows 2008 and has a virtual machine.
