Foreach computer I need to go and configure the browser proxy settings and some people are getting smart and turn it to automatic configuration again.
So what i want to achieve is to have my DIR-655 to route all the HTTP/port 80 traffic to the proxy server.
That way it is transparent and then it is not needed to configure each computers browser settings.
I am pretty new to this and the router configurations.
The proxy server works fine if i configure the browser manually.
I need to forward port 2875 from any public address to an internal address 192.168.20.103. I am not getting something right because it will not work. Below is my config.

I am trying to configure interface vlan1 to get an ip address from dhcp by entering the commnad ip address dhcp ios rejects the dhcp portion of my command as not recognised although it is referred to in Cisco manuals.my IOS version is c2950-i6k2l2q4-mz.121-22.EA14.bin.I get the same problem when I try to configure ip http secure-server on the switch. Is this a known bug or whether I have the correct IOS version for these commands?

NETGEAR WNR2000v2 is the name of my wireless router.Everywhere i go it says the username and password is:

None of these work i even tried typing the name name and password of my router. No luck?
I need to forward traffic from an Amazon server to an internal server with a SQL database on it so need to forward TCP 1433 to an internal IP (192.168.252.43) I have created an access rule to allow the amazon IPP through on 1433 but I am unsure how to point the traffic to the SQL server on the LAN.
I expect I will need to create a NAT rule to do this but cannot see how to achieve it.
I have another problem concerning a site to site VPN which establishes OK but does not pass traffic, I will post that question separately.

View 6 Replies View RelatedWe have ASA5520 and we want to configure a VPN IPSEC profile so that a partner of ours can access only a server and only on HTTP port.I've tried configuring split tunneling with an Extended ACL but probably I'm missing something. I just configured the ACL so that it included any source to our server's IP on HTTP port but when testing, it didn't work.
However, if I configure a Standard ACL on the split tunneling I can access the server and all the services it provides.Do you know if I'm missing anything on the Extended ACL configuration?
Should I configure this any other way?
I am trying to set up a web server behind WRT55AG router. I have read many forums where people are having the same problem, but none explain how to fix issue. The router will not forward any port to the server. Any attempt to access the server from outside my local network just brings me to the login screen of the router. View 3 Replies View RelatedI recently bought a EA6500 to replace a EA4500 (defective). Prior to the EA4500 I had a 160N which I now use as a WAP for 801.11G devices. I thought the 4500 was good from the media server functions it offered.However since installing the 6500 I noticed:
1. I have port forwarding for http to a web server. It works fine from machines on the outside but from my local subnet 192.168.1.x I can't access the web server (I can't even ping the external address - and yes I turned the anonymous filter off). I am not using ddns and I have a static ip address (cable modem connected) to the outside world.
I am having two small issues....First on my 3745 i get the following message:

am using GNS3, and have the 16port switching module. I have created a PC instance and connecting to f/0/0 which is a layer 3 port, I can connect via layer 3 IPs. I then reconfigured and connected the PC instance via a layer 2 port f2/0 which is part of the 16port switch module. All 16 ports are by default in vlan 1. I assigned an IP of 10.1.9.1/24 to the VLAN and gave the PC 10.1.9.2/24. I cannot ping and I cannot even ping 10.1.9.1, the VLAN 1 IP. [code]

I am almost new to the networking field, hence I might have lacking some basic knowledge. I like to know the impact if the ground of any router get disconnect. WIll the router stops work? We have two peripheral router in my organization, both are connect with the MPLS cloud through the MUX. One router (3745) have ground connection, where as the other (3845) don't. Recently the 3745 router start generating CRC error on the WAN interface. Once we remove the patch cord connecting with the MUX for loop test and reconnect later, the interface did not come back again. FInaly someone advice me to check the ground connection. I found it was loose. Once I fix it properly and reboot the router the interface become up. The person told me that some cisco router send the reference signal through the ground to the MUX connecting with it, if the MUX and router failed to exchange the reference signal the router will not work, is this true ?

I have a c3560 that on Port 1 I can not get any device to talk to the DHCP server.Previously there was a client connected to this port however over the weekend he stated he lost connectivity.
In my troubleshooting I have connected that client to another port and now he is good to go...I connected my laptop and tried to connect to the network however I could not.I checked the logs and did not see anything that lead me to think it was having problems.
Is there another way to shut this down and hopefully start it back up without having to restart the entire switch?

I am trying to configure LACP in 3750 for two port which are connected to Dell M6220 server switch. The channel-group 2 mode active commande is not taking then its showing the error protocol mismatch and if i run show int port-channel 2 command the port channel status is showing down. The Dell server switch is on simple mode. below i have attached the required details.
