I can even VPN in to my newtwork remotely.I can only VPN using the Cisco client. I would like to use the Native Windows Client and Ipads and Iphones. I believe they use PPTP and the Cisco client is using IPSEC.Which Cisco router can I get that would support all the above?

Here is how I configured my 877 VPN part :

It seems 877 even comes to allocate a local LAN ip address to Iphone (192.168.0.21) but then something goes wrong.....
I have a 2811 Router (config below) with VPN configured. I can connect through the VPN and access devices on the native VLAN but I can't access the 10.77.5.0 (VLAN 5) network (I don't care to access the 10.77.10.0 - VLAN 10 network). This issue has been plagueing me for quite a while. I believe it's a NAT or ACL issue. VPN client IP pool is 192.168.77.1 - 192.168.77.10. [code]
View 4 Replies View RelatedI'm configuring this asa for to connect home users to my network using the native microsoft vpn clients with windows xp over internet.This asa have on the outside interface one public intenet ip and in the inside inferface have configured in the the network 192.168.0.x and i want to acces to this network from internet users using native vpn clients.I tested with one pc connected directly to the outside interface and works well, but when i connect this interface to internet and tried to connect on user to the vpn i can see in the logs this, and can't connect with error 800.TCP request discarded from "public_ip_client/61648" to outside:publicip_outside_interface/1723"

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have a wireless system with Wireless controller and AP. I deploy wireless with WPA2-Enterprise and use Active directory domain account for authentication. But I have to modify some settings on client (windows XP, windows 7) to have it connect.
- If my clients joined in domain, they can connect to wireless sucessfully.
- If my clients are not joined in domain (they use local username and password), I have to go to wireless properties on client, and uncheck the option "Automatically use my Windows logon name and password" on EAP MSCHAPv2 properties. If not, windows automatically use the local account of the client to connect.

It accepts connections from the internet and then it authenticates the user to a Windows 2008 Server via Radius.Everything works fine if I use the VPN client embedded in Microsoft Windows. EasyVPN Server 192.168.202.0/24 Network extension mode to Client EasyVPN ASA 192.168.1.0/24 This works fine in both directions. But now i want to connect the client ASA network via EasyVPN software client from outside. The user are already able to connect to the ASA Server on its static outside IP obtaining an IP from a 192.168.21.0/24 pool. This works fine. But how am i able to connect to the 192.168.1.0/24 network from this client?
I have made the following change to my ASA 5520 using ASDM to try and force VPN clients to use a self assigned certificate from the ASA. I made the following changes Remove Access VPN > Certificate Management > Identity Certificates > Add Certificate.Then I made the following change.. Remote Access VPN > Network (Client) Access > IPSec(IKEv1) Connection Profiles > Connection Profile > Edit > IKE Peer Authentication > Pre Shared key and pointed the identity certificate to the one I created in the step above.Having made this change I am still able to VPN without a certificate configured in authentication settings.I was expecting that the VPN would attempt to issue the self assigned cert to client machine?

Now the clients at the branch are getting an application that is using an unsecured port (tcp/23). I would like to use a set of ASA 5520's that I have at the corporate office, with the AnyConnect license on them. I want the client machines to establish a tunnel from the client to one of these ASA's. The ASA' then would have a connection to the VLAN that the receiving server is housed on. The trick is to just establish the tunnel from the client to the ASA that will allow the IP of the client to not be translated. So I would use the ASA as a security 'pass-through' for the clients that use this new application.

Inside: 10.97.0.1 / 24
Outside: 10.0.1.70 /24
Interco: 192.168.6.1 /24
Other Sites: 10.26.0.4 /24
All routing in the network is Ok My customer want to access a server @ ip 10.194.70.1 in https on the interface Interco with his nat address as 10.97.0.11 .This server must be accessible with the address 10.97.0.11:443 from interfaces inside, outside and other sites.And source address must be nated with original destination address 10.97.0.11 to be redirected on 10.194.70.1.
I'm trying to set-up 3 remote access groups on an ASA5520 running version 8.4(3) software so that remote clients connected via Cisco VPN Client can also access spoke networks which are also connected to the ASA. I've previously set this up on ASAs running v7.2 software without issue but don't seem to be able to do the same here and can't for the life of me figure out what's wrong!
I have set-up the 3 remote access groups:
Group 1 - subnet 192.168.1.48/28Group 2 - subnet 192.168.2.0/25Group 3 - subnet 192.168.3.0/25
My remote access user groups can all connect to the head office subnet (10.0.0.0/8) without issue. But only one of the groups (192.168.1.48/28) appears to be able to access the spoke sites (172.30.10.0/24 and 172.30.20.0/24) that I have set-up. However, I can't see what the difference is between the 3 groups I have configured so can't understand why it works ok for one group and not the others?
When I use the packet tracer, it tells me that the flow is being dropped at the VPN encryption phase but why is that? How can I find out more? Here's the relevant config on my ASA:

I have a VPN setup thru a Cisco 5520, Windows clients connect just find and the end users configure there browser to use our internal proxy servers. Users with the MAC OS X Anyconnect client can connect, they configure their Mac to use our proxy server, but the broswers will not work, clients can reach networks and resources behind the VPN gateway and have access to the Proxy(Tried a telnet to that hostname/port). I am running ASA 8.3(2), Anyconnect(OS X) 3.1.01065.

I have the AnyConnect connection profile configured to authenticate users using LDAP over SSL. I enabled the password management and am able to get password change prompts to appear in the AnyConnect client. However, new passwords are rejected and changing passwords through that prompt does not work. I'm not sure what the cause of the problem is, since LDAP over SSL is enabled and working, which is required for the password management feature

View 2 Replies View RelatedI installed on 2 different PCs (Win7 64-bit) the Cisco VPN Client 5.0.07 with the same VPN profile for 2 different users. We use an ASA5505 (8.0(5) sec plus license) as the VPN end point for the clients. The VPN Clients can connect simultaneously to the ASA, they receive the split tunnel infos but only ONE client can ping the internal network ip range. The other one has no access to the internal resources! When they separately try to connect, there is no problem. Each of them can reach the internal net.On other 2 PCs (Win 7 32-bit) the clients have no problem reaching the internal net (simultaneously connect).

Does CISCO have any free vpn clients for Windows?I tried to download a client from the CISCO downloads area, but it's for some kind of purchase agreement. I would have thought that the vpn client was free to download given my ASA comes with two free vpn licenses.
