Cisco VPN :: Certificate Re-enroll On 3002?
Oct 18, 2011We are trying to re-enroll our certificates that are expiring today and all goes well until we actually try and install the newly generated cert and it it tells us that we cannot install the cert until the old cert is deleted. When we try and delete the existing cert, it tells us that it is currently in use and cannot be deleted. How can we re-enroll these certs without breaking the tunnel essentially kicking us out of the device?

I have downloaded the drivers off of the Dell site for the laptop and put them on it via usb, and installed them. However It will not connect to anything. It will not connect wireless or hardwired. Is there a particular installation driver I'm missing and can download? Can I download a virtual disc of the ones I no longer have?

Apr 12, 2011I am having a tough time getting my VPN client to reach any devices on my office network. I have a Cisco SR520 configured with IPSec to terminate Cisco VPN client sessions. The client is able to connect successfully. I get a username/password challenge, and then I get assigned a pool IP address on the client computer. So the VPN connection looks good at that point but I cannot reach any devices in the office network.

Nov 11, 2012I have been given a new project at work, to configure a 881W for wireless capebilities. how to get it to work using local database for the users to authenticate against, but our goal is to authenticate against a radius server that we have in place for existing Juniper AP's.
I have looked at some documentation out there and I cant seem to find what Im looking for. What I need to find out is an example of how to setup a radius server so that the wireless user can authenticate against. I have found some docs on google but those go over radius server setups for logons to the router etc.

I added a new tunnel in the "Client to Gateway" section, so I created a VPN client access, but connecting remotely by the QuickVPN Client after the connection and testing of the network I get the error "the remote gateway is not respondig, do you want to wait?" and I'm not able to establish a connection to the network. I can provide remote access directly to the router and the IP address to connect remotely.

Oct 12, 2012I am having issues configuring a vLAN network card on a Debian stable (Squeeze) client.The client is running in a ESXi version 4.1 environment.There are two vLANs: vLAN 8 and vLAN 14. The client is in vLAN 14. The domain controllers (as well as DNS and ISA servers) are in vLAN 8. Windows clients behave fine and they can connect to other vLANs just fine. However, I just can't get the Debian client to connect to any other vLAN than its own.I tried several methods, and non worked successfully thus far.One of the problems is that the client should only use one IP address. Using the vLAN package, its assumed that you have a different IP for each vLAN (I think), so that doesn't work out.There is one other Linux machine in the network. An Ubuntu client being in vLAN 8. That client works as it should and can ping to both local, and other vLANs.Until this problem is fixed, it is impossible to connect to the internet (because the ISA, DNS and DCs are in vLAN 8) so each time I want to install a package, I have to download either the .deb packages manually, or download source tarballs and then create an iso of those files, mount the iso and install the packages. You can imagine how much effort that costs.

Dec 14, 2012I have webcams that need port 8081 opened and I did that, everything worked fine until my DIR655 jammed up and power cycling it and the modem 3-4 times DID not make it work: no internet access and it was definitely a DIR655 problem. So, out with the paperclip to do the big reset, causing me to lose my configuration. When "most" of it came back up with my new config (I had screen prints), all was okay EXCEPT the webcams. Addresses and ports were all configured properly, address was fixed too on the client computer rather than use DHCP. I had a DNS relocation service running (DYNDNS) for the WAN side, but that address (My IP) didn't change either. I tried EVERYTHING. Finally, I realized in all my screwing around that I had enabled UPnP in my application, something I hadn't done before, but did this time as a desperation move. UPnP had always been checked off in the router. So.....I REMOVED my port forwarding and virtual server settings (either one worked before), and voila, everything working, Is this a normal occurrence, that if you have UPnP running, that this auto configuration overrides any manual configuration?

Is there anything more I need to do to allow one wireless client to ping another wireless client - am I missing something - i assume this is possible.Needless to say wireless clients can ping non wireless clients and vice versa quite happily. Everything is running with factory default settings more or less.

I am using cisco VPN client 4.6 .0 anf 5.0.0 suspending my IPSEC VPN on head end ASA 5520 device , authenticating VPN user using ACS 5.3.0 . All the VPN user are created internally on ACS 5.3.0 , i have turned on password management on ASA configuration towards tunnel group and i have enabled MS-CHAPv2 on ACS for password change during intial logon .
I have created internal user with password change during inital logon and tired connecting to my VPN .Intially it prompt for password change , after changing the password to new password .
When i am trying to connect , i am seeing strange behaviour VPN client is not able to connect to the peer , VPN client is not responding for few minutes , What should the problem , is there problem VPN client or ACS configuration .
when i remove this password management from tunnel group , VPN users are able to connect with any issue , but the concern is none them able to change the password , we not have ADS on our network all User ID are created internal on ACS server .
