Once I got LAP1142N from ebay and converted from Lightweight to Autonomous via TFTP but I see there is new IOS came out so it required to upgrade Bootloader which is c1140-boot-m.124-23c.JA1.bin and IOS is c1140-k9w7-tar.152-2.JB.Currently 1142N running IOS c1140-k9w7-tar.124-25d.JA and Bootloader Version 12.4(18a)JA.For while few hours ago I kept figuring it out how to upgrade bootloader on website but none of these will work.
View 8 Replies View RelatedI have just received a new Cisco 3750G Switch from my parent company. When attempting to install the switch, I discovered that it will not boot to CLI, only to the bootloader. After using the command boot, the switch attempts to boot the most current IOS version, but fails, stating "error loading XXXXXXXXXX.bin".
Obviously, I just need to get a functional version of the IOS onto the switch to boot, but the problem is exactly how can I do that? All (or most) the commands with which I am familiar are unavailable in the bootloader, so all methods known to me fail. Is there a simple way (maybe using the copy command?) to put the .tar or .bin file onto the flash?
I have WRT120N, i recently updated the firmware. 1.0.06. only my bad is i done it wireless. so its basically interrupted.I have tried, hard reset and power cycle and reinstall the firmware but still the problem occurs, this time its wired.it happens intermittently. i have tried pressing reset upon turn on and reinstall firmware on the bootloader. it stablized for a while but then disconnects and blinking stikes again.
View 2 Replies View Relatedthis might sound straight forward, but every other pc or console can find and connect to my router. This issue seems to happen about once every few months, sometimes it comes back by itself and reconnects completely fine.
There isn't a "user limit" on our router.Wireless adapter is dell wireless 1505 draft 802.11n wlan mini-card.
Have restarted PC and uninstalled and reinstalled the card.I tried to set the i.p address to static but it says "adapter disconnected" so won't allow me to edit any settings, despite it being able to find neighbour's wireless very easily.
i can not see nothing when i download the wireless

View 1 Replies View Relatedso I have my router that's connected to outside world (internet) and it's also connected to my company.I want to create a nat rule that basically says when I go to my company don't nat but when I go on the internet nat.now I do this with this statement [code] I want to do the same thing but this time with this rule. ip nat inside source static tcp 10.181.20.84 22 interface FastEthernet4 2222 this rule doen't work from the company to my router but it works from the internet to my router...
I just can't find the way to change this ip nat rule and use my same 110 ACL.basically with this last rule when I try to connect to my router from the company it tries to nat it back to the ip of the router interface ... it should not nat when I go from the company but nat when I connect from the outside internet.
I have recently had to rebuild the cookie information for a cisco 877 series router due to it being erased by an electrical surge.
I've successfully got it running again by copying the cookies from an identical router (obviously changing the serial numbers and so forth so it passes its verification checks).
The last piece of information I need is the Chassis MAC Address. I don't want to use the one from another router since there will probably be conflicts.
I tried following this Field Note, even though it isn't specifically for my model and it didn't work.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI can't find my router's IP. To be honest, i have trouble connecting to it at all - Sometimes it works after some computer restarts, sometimes not (Have this problem with other computers aswell, all that run Windows 7, so it's not any of the adapter's faults) .. I've tried running ipconfig, and it tells me Default Gateway is 10.0.0.1 (I can't run ipconfig right now, since i can't connect to the router .. Using neighbor's network now)
192.168.0.1, 192.168.1.0, 192.168.1.1, and 10.0.0.1 does not work.
I am trying to network my new laptop (Windows 7) with my old desktop (Windows XP). I made sure they are both on the same workgroup, the usernames are the same. I turned off the firewall, temporarily, even though I shouldn't have to because it's only the Windows firewall. I can see/access/read&write files on my Win7 machine from my WinXP machine. But I cannot see the WinXP machine from the Win7 machine. I set up a couple of test share folders in different locations, but cannot see the computer at all. I have done the 'diagnose problem' and received errors: 0x80070043, 0x80070035, and 0x80004005 after various attempts.
