WAP200E access point that causes it to reboot after anything from 15 to 20 mins .I have run it off an injector and a POE switch, updated the f/w to WAP200E-ETSI-FW-2.0.3.0 and it still reboots itself .I have even been sent a new one from the supplier and it does the same thing.

Check to see if there is a firmware upgrade and there is. Well I updated it with the newest and only one out there. I did the upgrade, said sucessful and now it will just random reboot or something........ every few minutes the power light starts flashing....... then all the light go out, then power flashes again and it comes back up. I have tried many times to reflash it with that new firmware but no avail. I wish I had the old firmware back because it was working fine till I did this upgrade.

my 866vae Router doesn't sync on a regular VDSL50 German Telekom Line (with regular Phone and a dsl splitter, no voip)!?
IOS is 15.1(4)M4. "show controllers vdsl 0" shows, that the modem status toggles:
Modem Status: Handshake
Modem Status: Idle
Modem Status: Unknown
I tried to configure the controller to fix to vdsl2
controller VDSL 0
operating mode vdsl2
but that didn't work. Modem Firmware is
Modem FW Version:23i
Modem PHY Version:B2pvC032b.d23i
IOS image file is c860vae-ipbasek9-mz.151-4.M4.bin
How to proceed next? If i remember correctly, a 886va Router was able to sync on this line...

I bought it without a a windows installation because i already had a copy of vista 64 cd which I installed when I got the computer. Then I realized vista couldnt handle the amount of ram my computer had or support some of the other new hardware, so i went online and purchased a copy on Windows 7 for 600dollars and digitally downloaded it from a non microsoft site, as it turned out after I installed it the cd validation key was not included in the purchase sadly so I was running it as trial version for 30 days.Anyhow, at some point (and it has been going on for awhile) my router reboots quite frequently when I am online playing games such as Civilization 5 , world of warcraft and CoD on this computer. Sometimes it can reboot up to 3-4 times an hour if I'm really unlucky! When I'm not playing games and just surfing the web it is rare the router restarts, and while I sleep I keep my computer online and it dont reboot at all.
So it is basically when I play online games this occurs the most. However! If I play games online on my laptop or playstation 3 the router -never- reboots, so it's obvious the problem is not the router itself since it works with my ps3 and laptop but not my stationary gaming computer

Our router 2821 reboots each time vpn traffic is called : - vpn connects without problem - as soon as you launch rdp, ftp or anything else traffic => the router reboots itself Consequence : no more phone, no more internet during the reboot process. A call can be cut when it happens.
Below is the show context log :

I continue to have significant performance and random reboots with DIR-825 router (hardware: Rev A1; Firmware: 1.13NA). My ISP has checked the lines to my cable modem. If I connect any of my laptops or PCs directly to the cable modem and work off the direct connect, all works fine with no problems for many days and even mutliple weeks. So, the router seems to be the bottleneck/issue.
I've tried multiple settings changes as listed in the forum here. My setup is fairly simple and detailed below.
Setup -> Internet:
-- Dynamic IP (DHCP)
-- I have disabled "Enable Advanced DNS Service"
-- "Use Unicasting" is enabled
-- I have primary and secondary DNS servers set

It seems to boot up and loads the flash and then shortly afterwards and before I get to console login it reboots.in reviewing what I've captured from the boot process is a message "Unexpected exception to CPUvector 200, PC = 1020" Below it is the following "Traceback - 0x1020 0x51351c 0x51351c 0x513c00 0x4FB1A8 0x4FB5B0 0x4F7FB8 0x191214 0x1912c8 0x57090 0x57398 0x1A5E50" I tried a couple google searches but didn't have any luck finding anything that matched what I have occuring.

On our guest wireless, at times when a user shuts down their laptop and powers back up they are not asked to re-authenticate.The only security is a login and password then the user is tunneled to our 440 in our DMZ then out the internet pipe.My question is if the user shuts the laptop off then starts it back up shouldn't they be prompted for the user login and password?

I've began having problems with the WRV210 where the router just reboots. Sometimes it may go for an hour or more then it slips into a series of reboots. The up time varies so I see no pattern. Contacted support they thought the device may have been defective so we did a RMA. Well guess what? The replacement arrived on Friday we put it in place and the same thing is happening. We are not using any of the VPN or VL options. Just simple PAT to a few internal machines for RDP access and an internal exchange server. The Qos is all disabled. It has the newest firmware which I have reflashed. I'm at a loss to explain the behavior but it doesn't appear to be isolated to a defective device.

We've had UVerse for about a year now - but lately we've had weird problems:
-about every 2-4 weeks, the router will spend a night constantly locking up and rebooting itself. ATT says they don't know why, and wanted me to check the power?? When it does this, it will do it for 30 minutes to TWO HOURS.
-every couple of days, the channels will freeze. If we change channels and then back, it returns to normal for a bit. Sometimes for a while, sometimes only for a minute. We have two boxes, each one does it. Even affects DVR playback. Internet doesn't seem to be affected, so I had originally though it was the boxes. ATT has remoted in, and can't find anything out of the ordinary.

I have an ongoing problem with my WRVS4400N router. It reboots on it's own when streaming video through a wireless connection (computer, xbox, roku, tv). Once I make a wired conection, it performs flawlessly. The firmware is up to date. I have read some reviews of this router on Amazon stating the same problem, but I expected it to be solved with firmware update. Unfortunately, this was not the case.

I have 2 Cat 6509-E switches in VSS configuration with 2 ACE modules. One in each Cat6k.
The ACE modules are running the following:
Software
loader: Version 12.2[120]
system: Version A2(3.2a) [build 3.0(0)A2(3.2a)]
We have only 2 contexts, the Admin and another one that we redirect traffic to WAAS equipment. The ANM soft running is only used for stats about the ACEs. It is version 5.2.
Since last week, the standby ACE module reboots on it own. It rebooted between 10 and 15 times until we had to leave the module PwrDown due to the constant reboots.
I tried to find any bug in the soft but I could not find anything related to that.

I recently purchased the RV220W to upgrade by good, but aging RV042. I'm running the most recent firmware (1.0.2.4 as of this writing) and have noticed this router reboots daily. I'm guessing it's locking up and rebooting as it occurs as different times of the day. Compared to the RV042, this was a bit of a pain to setup especially with regard to port forwarding. I'm hesitant to reset and start over again especially since this is brand new.

I have problem with RV120W router, device reboots very often ( up to 3-4 times during working day ), firmware is up to date ( 1.0.4.10 ), last week I decided to use "restore the factory defaults" unfortunately problem still exists.
Router is working in small office, there are 3 PC and 3 VOIP phones ( connected via LAN ) and 1-2 devices connected via wireless ( smartphones )
I've tried to view some logs but unfortunately no luck, can see some errors/warnings in dashboard ( see attached picture ) but cannot see more details ( log configuration wrong ? )
Additionally sometime I can see that CPU utilization is 100%

My Linksys WAG160N has worked fine for 2 years however all of a sudden when I power it up it's start normal but after 4 seconds all ethernet lights blink one time and all start from the beginning, it's like it reboot every four seconds. It happens so quick I can't even get to the Internet/Network Settings in WIndows Control Panel.I have tried accessing router setup and installing firmware and both have failed - it can not find the network address. If I try to reset with the reset button on the rear (30sec reset), it stops rebooting and the power LED starts to blink red/green and the ethernet LED of the port where my cable is connected starts to blink alsoI have set IP address manually on my computer as per the Cisco support pages (192.168.1.1), still no response from ping.I have also tried to reinstall firmware using TFTP but it also fails because it can not find the network address.

I currently have a problem where I have to constantly reboot my ASA whenever my cable modem reboots. The ISP (Pen Tele Data) is setup so that my ASA has to obtain its' static IP using dhcp (ip address dhcp setroute) on the outside interface. Now, I also have another location with a cable connection (Comcast) that does NOT experience the same problem. However, the difference is this ISP allows me to assign my static IP directly on my outside interface. What can I do so that I don't have to reboot my first ASA everytime modem reboots.
