Mar 25, 2012

When I start a torrent in Bitcomet my whole modem will "disconnect".Including all the computers connected via Ethernet Cable.I have had the modem exchanged, same thing.I am not using a Router. The modem has wifi which I use.The modem stays online it's just that is loses its internet connection, I have had a technician over to see for him self, he didn't know what to do, he tried swapping the modem. Same thing.

Cisco Firewall :: Reboot ASA 5505 Every Time Modem Reboots?

May 21, 2013

I currently have a problem where I have to constantly reboot my ASA whenever my cable modem reboots. The ISP (Pen Tele Data) is setup so that my ASA has to obtain its' static IP using dhcp (ip address dhcp setroute) on the outside interface. Now, I also have another location with a cable connection (Comcast) that does NOT experience the same problem. However, the difference is this ISP allows me to assign my static IP directly on my outside interface. What can I do so that I don't have to reboot my first ASA everytime modem reboots.

Linksys Wireless Router :: Set Torrent Download To Write Directly To The USB Drive On E3000?

If I try to set a torrent download to write directly to the USB drive on my E3000, it only works for a few minutes (at low speeds) and then I lose access to the drive and the torrent stops. I can access the drive again less than a minute afterwards.

It'd be handy to be able to write torrents straight to the USB drive instead of having to move the completed files to it after the torrent is finished.

Downloads Starting And Stopping Constantly?

Aug 6, 2012

First, I'm running Windows7 64 bit. So whenever I download a decently sized file; my download will start and get good speed for a few minutes, then it will drop off and stop and my connection to the internet will be lost for a short time while the connection resets. This happens if I'm using a program like Steam to download a game, torrenting something, sometimes on my Xbox 360 when it needs to update itself or a game, occasionally on a large app or album off of iTunes or patching an online game. However, I have no issue watching YouTube videos or playing an online game while also having TeamSpeak running in the backround to chat. I don't lose connection when browsing the internet at all and recently I was able to stream a live event without issue but I only tried that once (I don't have Netflix or anything similar). It usally isn't a big issue because my download will pick up where it left off most of the time but its a pain in the butt to have to add on an extra hour to a download sometimes for this.

Netgear FVS318 Firewall - VPN Not Starting?

Jul 27, 2011

I have Windows Server 2008 R2 set up to allow a vpn connection based on certificate verification. All traffic in my office get routed through a Netgear FVS318 Firewall in which I forwarded all the prerequisite ports to the Server. However, whenever I try to connect from outside the office Windows 7 reports that it either cannot establish a communication with the remote server or that the required Certificate is not installed. I verified the sslcert hash on the Server against the Certificate I installed at home and they match. I can ping both the dyndns and the IP of the office with no problems from home. Or does the firewall not allow vpn connections since it has the ability to host them itself.

Internet Connection Does Not Work Right Away After Starting Up PC

I do not remember exactly when this started but I think it was beginning of last week. Anyways, every time when I start up my computer and sign into my screen the internet connection does not seem to work right away. I thought first this was a problem with Google Chrome but then I tried other applications and it is the same thing. It takes about 30 seconds before I can get internet connection to do anything online even though down at the bottom right it says I am connected to the internet. The rest of the time I'm using the computer it's perfectly fine. It's only when I first start up the computer and sign into my screen. I don't know what's the problem so I'm hoping I can get an answer here from somebody.

Cisco VPN :: Starting Any Connect VPN Through RDP Session On 891

Nov 14, 2012

I have Any Connect (ver 3.1.01065) configured on Cisco router 891. VPN is working fine from the desktop, but I also need the ability to establish a VPN connection through a RDP connection (i.e. I'm using RDP to connect to a PC which has AnyConnect installed on, then trying to establish a VPN connection). OS Windows 7 SP1 x86.I've read about changing some settings in profile file (changed the <WindowsVPNEstablishment> option to "AllowRemoteUsers". Then applied the profile to the relevant Group Policy. Connected VPN from the PC (not through RDP), so that it downloads the new profile, and then disconnected again.): url...

But this make sense to the cisco asa... I have a cisco router on the ios 15.1. I've checked the XML file on the local PC to confirm the profile has been downloaded and is has, and I can't see the AllowRemoteUsers option. So I still can't start VPN through an RDP connection. (Error is "VPN establishment capability from a remote desktop is disabled. A VPN connection will not be established".)This also happened with the previous version of AnyConnect (2.5.xxxx).The PC's local routing tables look fine, and I can't see any conflicts that would cause the RDP session to drop.In the main window of Cisco anyconnect secure mobility client Ive noticed label: Web Authentication required.
