laptop has frozen on "this programme cannot display the webpage". cannot access start menu, task manager or anything else. Can turn off with power button but when it comes back on it flashes on the desktop then reverts immediately to the "this programme ........." page again.
View 1 RepliesI just upgraded my ACS v4.0 to the latest available version v4.2(1) build 15 patch 2 and I've got some trouble with the CSLog service. I performed a successive upgrade first to v4.2 then to v4.2.1 and finally applied the two patches. Everything is working fine, I'm using both radius and tacacs services and they doing great like they were in v4.0. The only problem I have is with Cslog service which doesn't start. To be accurate, it starts but stops just after. I've uploaded some logs from cslog.log in cslog/logs directory.

View 1 Replies View RelatedWe have one cisco 871 and five cisco 851 routers , all those routers are connected to each other using site to site VPN tunnels, so each router have 5 tunnels, we are usong thhese routers for IP phones, each location have 2-3 IP phones and 2-3 computers, all routers are connected to internet using ADSL modems,
out of these 6 locations 2 cisco 851 routers are getting frozen once or twice a day, and we need to reboot them, I already changed the router at one location with new one but problem is still there, but if i look for the logging ( Show logging ) its shows only interface up and down status that because of reboot, i cant find what is the reason these cisco 851 routers have 4 port LAN swithc in built, that still works even router is frozen, i was not able to ping or access the router not even using console.
All my gmail accounts open normally to the first page, but the mouse cursor just highlights whatever I hit. It will not open to the relevant messages or any other action.The sign out function works, so I can go to my other accounts, but the same problem persists.It had been working fine for several years.All the accounts are fully functional when I use my ipod or go to another desktop.

It will not connect to any wireless devices in the house. When my main PC is connected to the router, I cannot get on the internet at all. If I plug my PC directly into my DSL modem the internet works fine. I tried the reset button on the router and still nothing. When the router is connected I get this message:"Limited or no connectivity. You might not be able to access the internet or some network resources. This problem occured because the network did not assign a network address to the computer"It's very hard to troubleshoot the problem on the internet because if I have to connect the router to try something then I lose my internet connection.I hate when things quit working spontaneously. Absolutely nothing changed when this issue started. One minute it was working fine and the next it wasn't.

1 MSI laptop with windows 7 ultimate
1 Hp Netbook with windows 7 starter
1 USB Broadband
First i had connect the USB Broadband using by acer laptop to make as wifi router/wifi host via ad hoc.MSI laptop and Hp Netbook was successfully connected and able to connected to the internet which share from Acer laptop.Second, after that i am trying to use MSI laptop to create as wifi router/wifi host just like the same way what i done with Acer laptop.My both Acer laptop and Hp Netbook successfully connect to MSI laptop but only the Acer laptop was unable to connect to internet and it was showing "No Internet access". and the "homegroup something it showing "Unidentified network" on the MSI laptop.I had tried to restart all the laptop and netbook to resetting it, unlucky it still unable to connecting to internet.Also i had set all to "Obtain an IP address automatically".And i found out that my laptop ICS on service didnt starting and on Firewall didnt have ICS on the list.When i try to click the start buttom it popping out this:"The Internet Connection Sharing (ICS) service on Local Computer started and then stopped. Some services stop automatically if they are not in use by other services or programs"
I have installed LMS 3.2 on win 2003 server. It was working fine for last 1 year. Due to some requirement we restarted teh server, after which the LMS services did not came up. Now if we are giving the command "net start crmdmgdt", it give the following error message.The service is not responding to the control function.While checking the application log in event viewer we are getting the error message " Faulting application dmgtd.exe, version 1.0.0.1, faulting module msvcrt.dll, version 7.0.3790.3959, fault address 0x000385f2"
If we are restarting the server then also similar kind of error message is appearing" Reporting queued error: Faulting application dmgtd.exe, version 1.0.0.1, faulting module msvcrt.dll, version 7.0.3790.3959, fault address 0x000385f2".
Since last week, the login to CiscoWorks page comes up blank. The output of pdshow shows all the processes running except CTMJrmServer.

Actually I have a shared printer in network and when some user tries to access that printer of machine name \venus an error occurs netlogon service is not started.I have tried to start netlogon service on both machine (Printer server and client) but some machine in network can able to access that machine (\venus) but some machines gives error "NETLOGON service is not started"

So whenever I download a decently sized file; my download will start and get good speed for a few minutes, then it will drop off and stop and my connection to the internet will be lost for a short time while the connection resets. This happens if I'm using a program like Steam to download a game, torrenting something, sometimes on my Xbox 360 when it needs to update itself or a game, occasionally on a large app or album off of iTunes or patching an online game. However, I have no issue watching YouTube videos or playing an online game while also having TeamSpeak running in the backround to chat. I don't lose connection when browsing the internet at all and recently I was able to stream a live event without issue but I only tried that once (I don't have Netflix or anything similar).It usally isn't a big issue because my download will pick up where it left off most of the time but its a pain in the butt to have to add on an extra hour to a download sometimes for this.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI have Windows Server 2008 R2 set up to allow a vpn connection based on certificate verification. All traffic in my office get routed through a Netgear FVS318 Firewall in which I forwarded all the prerequisite ports to the Server. However, whenever I try to connect from outside the office Windows 7 reports that it either cannot establish a communication with the remote server or that the required Certificate is not installed. I verified the sslcert hash on the Server against the Certificate I installed at home and they match. I can ping both the dyndns and the IP of the office with no problems from home. Or does the firewall not allow vpn connections since it has the ability to host them itself.

Anyways, every time when I start up my computer and sign into my screen the internet connection does not seem to work right away. I thought first this was a problem with Google Chrome but then I tried other applications and it is the same thing. It takes about 30 seconds before I can get internet connection to do anything online even though down at the bottom right it says I am connected to the internet. The rest of the time I'm using the computer it's perfectly fine. It's only when I first start up the computer and sign into my screen. I don't know what's the problem so I'm hoping I can get an answer here from somebody.

When I start a torrent in Bitcomet my whole modem will "disconnect".Including all the computers connected via Ethernet Cable.I have had the modem exchanged, same thing.I am not using a Router. The modem has wifi which I use.The modem stays online it's just that is loses its internet connection, I have had a technician over to see for him self, he didn't know what to do, he tried swapping the modem. I've checked the XML file on the local PC to confirm the profile has been downloaded and is has, and I can't see the AllowRemoteUsers option.So I still can't start VPN through an RDP connection. (Error is "VPN establishment capability from a remote desktop is disabled. My Wifi is not starting for any reason, I've installed the driver from your CD, manually downloaded from atheros site and I did all I could do to resolve the problem, but still the problem persists.
All other things are fine but still I am not able to use my wifi.
i'm new in wireless and have delegated a task to setup a wireless connection between two buildings (it should be on the same IP subnet), app. 300m apart. How to perform this task, what Cisco AP to use, antennas. I do have a WLC these APs will be connecting to. Currently have few extra 1142i AP - not sure if this can be used for bridging.

I have the same problems with the Cisco EPC3925?Everytime a wired pc reboots/boots everyone on the network losses internet, also wireless is disconnected. Also everyone get unidentified network and later its set to public network.We are using a Sitecom switch LN-120. I have to unplug this switch, then restart the router to fix the problem each time. Then I can plug it in again and everything is fine.The router will not restart (does not go further then 2nd blinking LED.) if I do not unplug the switch.
View 8 Replies View RelatedI had a virus. I think I got rid of it. Avast scans and boot time scans and Super Anti Spyware and TDSS killer report all clear. However, the network shield of Avast and the Internet don't work. Points to note: 1. In services, the DHCP and DNS cannot be started. I get the error 1075: service has been marked for deletion or one of it's dependancies are missing. (close to that)
I've checked the dependancies of both, and reinstated the ADF module in device manager after selecting the 'View Hidden' option.
Dell Inspiron 1521 w/Vista Home Premium, wlan dell 1390. Adapter does not start at any time if I don't remove battery for a long period, or a shorter period if I depress the on/off button for 15-20 seconds. Works fine if it starts, but when it does not start it does not appear in Device Manager. If I close the lid (sleep) for even a split second the wifi will not come back on because the adapter is not active. The computer does not wake from sleep normally either, but that's been going on from the beginning and the wlan adapter is a new issue (in a long line of issues with this laptop.)

I have a LinkSys WRT 160 N wireless router, the router just stopped starting abruptly, when i power cycle the router, all the 4 ethernet light come on, and that is where it gets stuck. I've tried using the reset button but there is no effect after i depress the button.
