MWR-2941-DC
MWR-2941-DC-A
I can only find mention of MWR-2941-DC-A in Cisco's product documentation.
We got a new CISCO 2941 MWR router shipped with the “mwr2941-adviprank9-mz.122-33.MRA.bin” image .I am not able to configure the Ethernet service OAM(CFM) . We need to configure a outward domain and outward MEP.The system is not allowing me to configure a outward MEP. There seems to be no option to configure an outward MEP. I am successfully able to configure inward domain and inward MEP but this does not fit in our setup as we want CCM to be send outwards .

Setting your Linksys Wi-Fi or Smart Wi-Fi Router to Bridge Mode is applicable when you want to:• Connect two (2) routers with the capability of sharing the network resources • Use the router as an additional access point on an existing network • Connect the router to a modem/router from your Internet Service Provider (ISP) • Disable the router functionalities to work with third party devices

Unfortunately the Linksys X3000 DSL modem router is not compatible to the bridge mode, since the internal switch fails if a MAC address of a wireless device switches between the X3000 internal access point and the access point of the EA4500 router. In the faulty state, no local network resources (print server, NAS, ...) are accessible anymore.
Comcast has inform me that my cm-100 is no longer compatible with their new upgrade. They say I need docsis 3.0 and mine is only certified to 2.0.

View 6 Replies View RelatedIm trying to setup a cable modem which is also a router that has a printer attached to one of its lan ports. From there it connects to another router which connects to other clients from there i have another router with a VPN connection with other clients. I would like to be able to see everyone on the network. How do I setup the routers in particular the router with the vpn which is the last router. Also the vpn router is connected through its WAN port to the router ahead of it at its lan port so it can use its VPN connection. If it makes it easier lets ignore the cable modem as router and ill find the printer another way of connecting but essentially i need the two other routers for two ip addresses. One for the first router with my regular IP and then the other is for VPN IP.

After being up for about 4 days they both stop responding to telnet attempts. I do not get a reject message - it just goes to a blank secreen with a flashing cursor. The only way to fix it is to reboot. I read that an older IOS had a similar bug on the MWR1941 but I cannot find anything about the 2941 having issues such as this.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI have two Cisco 2941's going over a IPSEC VPN. I need to push the same network over this connection. For example i need 192.168.255.0 / 25 on my side and i need to plug in a laptop on the far end 2941 with the same network. I have built GRE tunnels before and i found a configuration online to brdige interfaces over a GRE tunnel.
when i get to adding the bridging to the configuration which i will show below i get an error. Please see below. Also when i try to add the same briding command on the GRE tunnel which is needed it doesnt show the bridging command as being available. The Cisco 2941's are both using version: mwr 2941-iprank9-mz.124-20.MRb1.bin.As i stated the only end result i need is to be able to configure a path from point A and B and have the same network on each end.
I am using a CISCO 2941 DC-A router,For the PPP testing.I was using GL card from the GL communications. In the case of GL card it supports this below Feature"In MLPPP Simulation, NCP can be configured to send Packets over PPP links in the bundle or on the MLPPP bundle."My query Is in the Cisco Router 2941-DC-A,Is their support for sending NCP over PPP in the case of Multilink(MLPPP).Because I found out that in the case of MLPPP the Cisco router sends NCP packets over MLPPP only. How to configure the cisco router to send NCP packets over PPP in case of MLPPP.?

There will be no internet connection.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI'm having trouble connecting via ethernet to my WAG200G. Everything was working fine a week ago but now, nothing. The problem is only occurring with one computer and I've tried the troubleshooting guide on the website to no avail. When I connect the ethernet cable from my computer to the modem/router, I don't get a light on the front panel on any of the ports. I've changed cables, ports, disabled ZoneAlarm and firewalls and nothing comes up. I've checked the ethernet connection from the computer to another computer and it's working fine.
On a different computer, I have no trouble connecting to the ports and can confirm that 1-4 are working and the lights come up.

I've got a relative that needs a wireless solution for their new HD LCD. The spouse has vetoed running cat-5 (I'd have told her to pound sand...) so we're looking for an inexpensive router that we can install dd-wrt on and throw it in bridge mode. The Linksys wrt54g seems to have dried up in the area, no one seems to have one in stock and I haven't had any luck finding an Asus RT-N12 that I can get delivered in a timely fashion, that would have been my second pick.
Any recommendation for a fairly inexpensive G/N router that either features a robust bridge mode or that I can flash for this project?
I have to replace our WRT54G router--it's currently connected to a power booster and and omni-directional antenna. Is there a router with an antenna connection compatible with the WRT54G--preferably a single antenna model?
