My question is that cisco website says there are two type of cable connections for this type of config --which are --T1 CSU/DSU ConfigurationSet one CSU/DSU to clock source internal, and the other CSU/DSU to clock source line. The linecode, framing, data-coding, and timeslots must be set the same on both CSU/DSUs.Four-Wire 56k CSU/DSU Configuration For my network connection which type of config i should use??Secondly i try to connect these ports by normal crossover cable it did not work.So for this type of connection i know i need T1 cross over cable-- which has RJ 48 connections at both sides.I check cable from ebay which is RJ45 RJ48 cross over -- will this cable work in my router to router connection.

I'm having some trouble getting two Cisco 888's to work correctly back to back.. The two routers will ultimately be used in conjunction with a BT EPS8 circuit which is effectively four wires short distance between customer sites. We have configured lots of these using the older Cisco 878's.
Anyway, as i've been struggling to get line sync on site I've gone back to basics and connected the two 888's back to back. However, I've found that no matter what I do I can only get the routers to sync at 384kbps!? And that's with a one meter RJ11-RJ11 cable.. Very strange. When we've used the 878's we get much more bandwidth. I have tried statically assigning the line rate at both ends but it still only works at 384kbps.
I am setting up my lab using two 2901 routers which is running on 15.2 IOS.I am trying to simulate a back to back BRI.BRI Module: WIC-1B-S/T-V3 (x2) one of each router.

I am trying to configure multiple dsl-groups on a HWIC-4SDHSL-E module and the option does not exist. According to the Cisco documentation I should be able to do this, but I only get pairs as an option.

I have my laptop and my Xbox 360 currently hooked up to this router trough ethernet cables (yes I know it's a very old model, but it's all I have for the time being). I'm having issues with connection that I know is on the router end because the router I had before (that has now gone bad) connected fine, but this one has issues. Literally almost every hour on the dot, the connection goes out and will immediately come back on as soon as I simply unplug the router and plug it back in. Basically, I have to turn the router off and on every hour to continue to stay connected all day, everyday.reason?

So, I know I have internet, as I am writing this now. But for some reason, that computer is now telling me I lost the internet connection. I have tried unplugging everything, restarting the computer, and nothing has worked. I dont know how to get the internet back on that computer.

I have asa 5505 with security plus license, I configured dual ISP with two different ISP provider. I followed below cisco document to configure dual ISP [URL] The Configuration works during the testing, while removing the primary ISP cable from firewall. The problem i am facing is my primary ISP is down but the gateway is still up and it not switch over to backup ISP. For SLA which IP should i monitor so once my primary ISP is down it will fallback to Secondary.

If I use hidemyass I can get onto facebook though. My partner is having the same problem. I haven't got a firewall blocking facebook and it works sometimes and other times it doesn't so I am unsure what the problem is.

When those two devices have been inactive for a while the bridge goes into sleep mode and loses the connection Back to my EA6500. Trying to print something from wireless devices connected to the 6500 elsewhere in the network doesn't "wake up" the bridge. Ihave to unplug the power supply and restart it.

I can establish an outbound connection to the receiver and the connection shows up on the machine. After the connection is established I can send data and it is received by the receiving application (I observed this using a socket test application, data actually gets through the firewall) However I need to send an acknowledgment back on the same session to the sender. This cannot be transmitted and shortly after I try sending the connection is closed with error 10060.
I have not yet hooked up my router, N150. What I would like that after I hook the router up and then deside I don't want to use it. How do I disconnect it and go back to using my DSL modem and being connected to the internet?

I have a question about the function of an E1200 relative to a WRT54G. We currently have the 54G plugged into our LAN, the Ethernet cable plugged into one of the Ethernet ports, not the Internet port, on the back. It is giving wireless clients IP addresses according to our main LAN DHCP, as if they were hard-wired which is correct. Bad thing is, I have no idea what IP address is/was assigned to the 54G itself as it was not logged when done, way before my time. I cannot log into it and take a look at its settings and attempt to mimic what is going on in there on something like an E1200.
Therin lies my next questions. What could be occurring on the 54G that is enabling it to dish out like a WAP and does the E1200 support WAP function? If not, which models do that can be added to the 54G?
I signed up for Linksys Cloud access.. now going to my browser 'the old way' is disabled.. is there any way to switch back to accessing my EA 4500 using the old way by putting in 192.168.1.1 into the browser?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI have a CISCO modem from SHAW set as bridge. I recently bought a CISCO EA4500 which got automatically upgrade to the current Firmware 2.0.37 after connecting it to my ISP. After a few days I noticed my internet speed was slow. When I checked the router I saw it flipped from 1Gb to 100Mb. Called Shaw they could not figure this one out, while waiting I decided to turn everything off / on and internet port came back to 1Gb. 2 days later same thing again, I just turned off both the modem and EA500 router. A couple of days later again same problem but this time I just turned EA4500 off/on and internet port came back on with 1Gb.Otherwise I will have to turn this one back in to the store for an exchange.

I can be online and not access my router through ciscocloudconnect.com or 192.168.1.1 while I am on my network. How is this possible? I used to have the WRTG54 router and that interface was perfect. How can I switch back to that interface with the EA4500?Cisco Linksys really should have tested their cloud more thoroughly before rolling it out to the public.
