I noticed that I cannot remotely check the Topology Services in Ciscoworks LMS 3.2. I have attached a screenshot of the error for reference. When I access Topology Services on the server itself, everything works well.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI installed LMS 4.0.1 and every module works from the local server. Http login from a remote system, topology services does not start, complains about java version. I followed the link to install the java version, it then complains about some Ansiserver stuff.
the client os is win7 64 bits, eplorer version is 7.
When i try to launch topology services in LMS 4.0 i get prompted to install a java plugin. When i install this it tells me to restart the browser but nothing is changed, it asks me if i want to install the java plugin again.

I'm going to use ISA as a proxy to public some internal services and to provide internet access for my users. ISA won’t use NAT. It will route traffic. Cisco 2921 will handle NAT, ISP Failover and IPSec VPN to datacenters.
Cisco 3750 will route outbound internal traffic.My routing for internal users on Cisco 3750 will look like this: [code] My question is about route from Cisco 2921 to my local network 192.168.0.0/22.If I use this route, I'll restrict my traffic from datacenter to go through ISA server BUT all responses from the Internet will go directly to 3750 too.I doubt about security and functionality of such solution. I have my home lab with cisco 2511 and octal cables. I would like to be able to access the terminal server remotely via the internet when I'm not in. I'm concerned cause the wireless router is DHCP assigned IP. Even if I have a static IP on the ethernet port of the 2511 connected to the wireless router, I'm not sure if the NAT will work so it can be accessible from the internet.

I am attempting to remotely access the router's interface, and am having trouble doing so even after configuring it properly. I configured the router's firewall to allow remote access, using port 8080. I also set up DDNS, although I tried connecting using both the IP and the DDNS name.I also set the router to respond to pings, and I am able to successfully ping the router (from a remote location) using both the DDNS name and the public IP. But when attempting to connect using my browser, it doesn't work. I have tried multiple browsers, multiple remote locations, and disabling my computer's firewall, all with no success.

For many reasons, I want to store all my data in a centralized location (that being my WHS box). I then want to access that data through my laptop in London as if the data was in a folder on my computer. I also want to access the data through my mobile phone (android).I just set up filezilla on my WHS box and it works fine if I want to download or upload data. But it won't let me open word files 'off' the server, make changes, and then save it right back. I have to download the word file, make changes, and then reupload that file to the server.

While I am connected to my network these functions work fine, on my phone and any desktop/laptop. The problem happens when I try to view remotely, off my network. I need 3 ports forwarded for this work, and how I got it work on my Netgear. I have these 3 ports forwarded as single ports. I have them forwarded in a range and I have port triggering turned on. No matter what or which combination of these few things I try, I can't access the DVR remotely, again unless I'm local to MY network.Some additional notes - the DVR has a static address and that address has been reserved in the DHCP settings of the router.

View 1 Replies View RelatedCurrently trying to set up the above so that if an access service is not matched then it will go to the next one. Looking at the logs what happens is - our auth is set to AD so it matches that - then it isnt in the correct ext AD group and goes to default deny access.
Cant see how to get around this - the only continue command is in the advanced area of the auth - but i cant set up ext ad groups on the auth. How do i get this to move between access services if it doesnt match the ext AD.
I recently bought a e4200 v2 and installed connect cloud. I have attached a USB drive to the router. I can connect to it by mapping a network drive on my windows 7 laptop. I can also access it as a media server through my iPad on the local wifi network. This way I can play the music on the USB drive through the iPad. The next thing I would like to accomplish is to be able to listen to the music on the USB drive through the internet (so remotely).

My hosts file is clean and I checked in the registry to make sure that the hosts file is where it is supposed to be. I had trouble finding one that worked but I configured Chrome to use an external proxy and it seemed to work, abeit too slowly to really tell. I did manage to get a Nigerian google page up though.I've flushed the DNS and switched to the free google DNS.Looking around I've seen similar issues with people using Linksys routers. I am not using a Linksys router. I am currently using my android phone as a hotspot.I am running a Windows 7 laptop on the same network with no issues and booting the same host into Vista also works fine.

This is for work purposes (specifically for a small business that I design for). Is this doable? I've been using Dropbox but that's proving too problematic as more and more files need to be managed. I would prefer it not be through software that has to be running on a computer, as there is no "machine" running 24/7 here besides the router itself.

I can access the cameras from my local LAN both when using the local 10. ..and external 99 .. Addresses. When I go off the local connection - Access does not work. View 3 Replies View RelatedI have a Cisco Linksys E2500 modem and I cannot access Zoneminder which is essentially a Linux Security video DVR software package. It is running on a Ubuntu Linux server.
I have HTTP port 80 forwarded to the the static IP address of the Ubuntu server but I repeatedly get a error indicating that the connection timed out whenever I try to access Zoneminder remotely as in remotely accessing it from a coffee shop.
I have absolutely no problem accessing Zoneminder when I on my home local LAN.
I can access other software from remote locations on port 4369 with a TCP preferred protocol setting. That is, port 4369 is forwarded to another Windows workstation with an assigned static IP address. Absolutely no problems with port forwarding of 4369.
Also, I've tested port 80 on the YouGetSignal website which is used for testing port forwarding. The website indicates that port 80 is closed. But when I test port 4369, the website reports that the port is open. Zoneminder which uses port 80 is fully operational when I test port 80 via YouGetsignal.
My ISP has told me that they do not block any ports including port 80.
My computer connects to my institute LAN.They provided us a configuration according which I configured TCP/IP v4 settings and firefox settings.All the webpages open smoothly but other internet realted services apart from firefox are not working eg Skype,Windows Update,Mu Torrent etc.The LAN connection says "No Internet access"(The sites are opening nicely though) and puts a yellow exclamation marks on the LAN symbol in system tray.

But I have a 10.71 network installed and cannot change the 192.168 to 10.71. I suppose this is a bug.
