i recently upgraded our Ciscoworks LMS from 4.0 to 4.1. after i installed the upgrade the admin login doesnt work, neither does any other account. i have tried resetting the password but it doesnt work.
View 3 RepliesI recently upgraded my d-link router DI-524 for Netgear N600 WNDR3700v3 and every component (wired or wireless) is working except network printer. I have it wired directly to the router and all pcs on the home network can see it, however when i select to do a test print, nothing prints to the printer and i get error. I had this setup using the d-link router with both the printer and the XP PC wired directly to the router and using the XP PC as a network pc sharing the printer to other pcs (Vista / Windows 7) on the home network.The printer is a Toshiba e-studio 160 series.. I re-added the print drivers for XP and still not able to print. Is there anything else I can try?
View 9 Replies View RelatedI configured a new SG-200-08 with a static IP. I tried to save the configuration as the startup configuration. After 10 minutes, I restarted the switch. It didn't boot with the new configuration, and returned to the default .254 and default pw. Now I cannnot assign a new pw or get past the change the pw page. When I try to save a new pw, the switch reboots and prompts me to change from the default pw. I tried resetting the switch by depressing the reset button for a long time, but results are the same. LED indicators are green with a flashing green indicating the .254 address and a solid green on the port where the switch is connected to the computer. How can I reset the switch or get passed the change your pw page?

View 8 Replies View RelatedI have not worked with ASDM in a while. I have a 5510, with asdm-645.bin in the flash. The device runs version 8.4(2). I can download ASDM from the http interface of the firewall from the management interface. But I can not log in. I have used blank username and password, no username and enable password, blank username with enable password and a few other permutations. I then tried to connect to the asdm interface from inside also. But I can not connect. Needless to say, I have enabled http, and updated the http access-list. The only logging I have enabled is buffered. Is there any configuration that I am missing? Shall I cut and past the config?

Now I would like to add a link to a PDF document which is supposed to be available before logging in. In other words: Clients connect to the W-LAN and get access to the login-page. They can download the PDF document (which has by the way a size of ca 10MB) from the login-page and after that they login to get access to the internet.
As far as I understood the manuals I won't be able to use the internal login-page because the size of a file is not allowed to be bigger than 1MB.So I thought about using the external authentication by using the webserver of my website. Unfortaunely the IP-Adress of my website doesn't work. Behind this IP-adress there's more than one website hosted. So I can't use my webserver either ...
Is there any other possibilty to add this PDF (size 10MB) on the login-page? Maybe I can add my website to a kind of a "pass through list" which is accessible even without authentication?

I recently upgraded several of my systems to Windows 8 from XP. This, of course, included the update to IE10.Now, I cannot log into the router on my network via a Windows 8 system. It works fine if I use a Windows 7 laptop or an XP unit, but on Windows 8, when I go to the router's address, it prompts me for the Username and Password. It takes the password, and then immediately comes back and asks for it again. Another weirdness is that it won't exit when I choose cancel - only if I select the red X in the upper right corner of the authentication window.

Whenever i tried to log on to the computer it is giving me an error message that "The System could not log on the "Domain Name" either the connection is disconnected or the domain is no longer available" somting like that. When i remove the LAN Cable and if i enter the domain password, i can login to the computer. after i log on the computer if i connect the LAN Cable it is working fine. I can access the other computer which is connected to the same domain. Why the error message is poping up?

We have a site where uses are unable to login to an application. After running a packet trace on the traffic coming from the site to the server they are trying to access, the trace indentifies that the client pc is sending a window size of zero to the server, and it does this twice. So in essence the client is saying it is too busy. This is strange as all the other applications work for the users and it is only this one application that is experiencing issues. The only other issue is that there is some retransmitted traffic before the client sends window size.

- Have factory reset router a few times now.

I have just bought the device. I works fine as a AP out of the box. I want to use it as a repeater of my wireless network which uses a Linksys Simultaneous Dual Band N Router WRT400N
1. To do the setup, I have tried to login at 192.168.0.254 I cannot do this (a) using a wireless connection to a Linksys router which is connected to the cable modem and (b) wired connection to the router which is connected to the cable modem. The attempts get a timeout messaage.
2. The default gateway is 192.168.1.1. The DHCP server has the same address. My computer is using 192.168.1.101.
3. I use McAfee Internet Security software.

I have a set-up with multiple C2960 and C3750 switches. All these devices are being managed remotely. So basically I login to C2901, which is used as a Terminal Server, and reverse SSH to the console of each device. That's - I have assigned an IP to each port of the terminal server so that I can SSH directly to the desired device through via the mapped IP.
Now, recently I had to restart couple of switches - one C2960 and C3750. I initiated the reboot via console connection remotely. I could see the device logs for some time and then the logs stopped and there was no reaction from the console irrespective of any command I tried to enter.
I tried resetting the line on the terminal server, but that didn't work.
Now when I try to SSH the IP mapped to console of that particular device - i dont get any login prompt and there is no effect on device after giving any command. Although i can see the logs on the console session - but cant do anything.
I have a second way of connecting the device via inband- management, and checked the device config found it correct. It is same as other devices which are working correctly.
Both C3750 and C2960 are behaving exactly same - can see logs on console but see effect of even pressing enter - not getting login prompt as well.
I have a strange issue that I am having an issue figuring out. I am trying to login to the 1941 router through the console port. When I enter the username and password, which I just set, it fails. I am able to login under a different login but when I try to enter the enable mode the enable password doesn't work, which I just set as well. I can login with the TACACS+ login from a SSH session. Here is the line config:

I'm having wrt610n and there is an issue, i can login to the config page via http, but using the same computer i'm not able to login there via https but the same time i can login via ipad and the other computer, using the https.i even tried to reset the router settings, but the result was the same, so what PC option can cause it?

I created the website with Dreamweaver software and uploaded it to fatcow via port 21.My internet connection was via xplornet and I had no access problems. I upgraded to xplornet's new g4 system and now I can no longer access my account online or upload to my website.We have two computers. The first is a desktop system that has the dreamweaver software. The second is a laptop which connects wirelessly. We share the signal through a dlink router. The modem is a viasat Surfbeam 2 residential satellite modem.1. When I attempt to login to the fatcow control panel, the tab shows successfully authenticated and then re-directs me back to the login page. This happens on both the laptop and the desktop.
I have tried bypassing the router and the problem still exists.I took the laptop to the computer center and I can login to the account no problem.I used a free proxy server page on the internet and can login from my home system on my desktop no problem.I have completely turned off virus scan and firewalls. I'm in a remote location (hence the satellite internet)and it is an hours drive to the nearest private internet connection and a 2 hour drive to the nearest public connection.
We have a Linksys WRT120N wireless router set up at one of our small offices. I noticed recently when trying to log in to the router to make some admin configurations that it will not accept the login credentials when trying to log in from IE10 browser.
