Connection From DLink DIR-655 To Samsung TV
Mar 19, 2011I am having a terrible time getting a good signal from my DLink-DIR655 router to my Samsung HDTV with a linkstick to have access to the apps like Netflix. My router is located about 60 feet away but the signal is sufficient to connect to my laptop located in the same room as the tv. I have been told the router should be no more than 20 feet from the tv and have tried a DWL-G710 range extender but that doesn't work.

It was connected in the past, but when I go through the test, it fails at "IP address, Subnet, Gateway, DNS Server Test Failed" I have done the typical reomve power from router/wireless combo, wait 30 seconds, plug back in.My other wireless devices connect to my wireless network with no issues. I even disconnected one and reconnected just to verify I had my security code correct.I saw something from Samsung that says DHCP needs to be enabled, but I believe this is disabled on my router and not sure how to change it.

IP address for BD player is 192.168.0.102 and PC is 192.168.0.100. BD player firmware is up to date.
