Connection Fails - Connect During Safe Mode But Not On Normal Boot?

So I am having issues connecting to the internet. I can connect during safe mode but not on normal boot. I ran a diagnostic and it said that the IP Gateway failed. I read a previous post and did the command promp "ipconfig/all" and this is what it said:

I am not able to connect to any webpages in normal mode, even after restarting i still have the same problem [However it works in safe mode with networking]. The network connections show that it is connected and the signal strength is excellent. I then have to keep restarting the laptop like 3 to 4 times and it works. Its kind of frustrating to keep doing this all the time and besides i am scared by restarting the laptop so many time can harm it.

Hi guys. I'm running Windows Vista SP2 on a Dell Laptop XPS. It seems there were some viruses on the system which I have cleaned out, I believe. I have restored some issues with damaged registry and the system seems to be working great other than I cannot get a strong connection to the internet. It will open up when I first log on, but then the connection is intermittent at best. If I log into safe mode with networking then the connection is perfect, no problems. What I can do to restore the connection to the internet?

I am unable to connect to the internet unless in safe mode. If I disable my firewall in normal mode I can connect but it seems a bit slow. I have used Hijackthis and it gave me a log file which I can paste if needed. To analyse this tool has not highlighted anything that is dangerous. Why I can't connect to the internet?

My computer came with Mcaffe pre installed on the laptop however did not stop me getting the police e crime unit virus about three weeks ago. To fix this I booted in safe mode and did a system restore to around 3 months before I got the virus. I then installed avast antivirus and did a scan and boot scan which came back with nothing which suggested to me it had gone. This then meant I had both mcaffe and and avast running at the same time. Then until 3 weeks later the internet suddenly stopped working whilst I was on the internet. My laptop sees my router and says it is connected to it but says the router is not connected to the internet. This is false as every other device in the house can connect. However I then tried my computer in safe mode with networking and it can connect to the internet.

I can only connect to the net in safe mode. I am wireless.What I have tried:
Scans: Scanned for virus using Microsoft Securty Essential, Malwarebytes and Spybot. There were viruses but they are cleaned now.
Router: I show I am connected to the router. I have unplugged and reset the router.
NIC: I have reset the NIC, shows NIC is working properly
Drivers: Most recent drivers
Firewall/Security: have shut down and tested the internet
CMD: can ping google and others
CMD: reset TCP/IP stack
and many others.

I can only connect to the internet via IE9 in safemode with networking. This is my parents PC. As a side note I was able to connect in normal mode with Firefox V4 but accidentally updated to FF12 and now it won't work either. HJT log posted below. I've tried reseting and reinsatalling IE9, flushed the DNS, reset TCPIP. Still nothing.

My daughters laptop will not connect either wirelessly or via cable apart from in Safe mode with Networking. It has been working fine for over a year and she has not made any radical changes recently and all other devices in our house work and connect fine. I have run various checks including Malwarebytes and their root checker all comes back clean. It is finding the connections fine, just says No Internet access.It is a HP Pavilion g6 running Windows 7, the ipconfig /all is as follows?

I have a problem with my internet connection, I live in the university dorm and I connect the internet by wire. When I start the computer on normal mode, the internet is very slowly and sometimes disconnect, and few times just work fine ( doesn't last more than 2 minutes). however, when i put it in safe mode with networking, it works perfectly. Not sure what is the problem.

It's rather weird, One day im connected just fine.. Then bam. Its gone, only to work in safe mode. So I thinking it was a virus.. and my computer was in need of a good restart, I reinstalled windows 7 getting rid of windows.old.. Everything worked fine. Internet was perfect. I have no antivirus no nothing, And now the problem has resurfaced i have only a few programs installed. which is steam, and a few games. I TRUELY have no clue what could cause this. ill preemptively add a hijack this log , Another thing is yes, I do indeed reset router, unplug.. press the button ect. Im on a Desktop... I'm having a little trouble with one of the computers on our home network. It's a desktop computer running Vista, connected to the router by cable. I'm told the internet connection was working fine one night, and the next morning, not at all.
All of our other devices (laptops, etc) connect through the wireless just fine, and I tested the wired connection on another computer with good results. The desktop computer will only connect when in safe mode. In the regular mode, it shows a local connection only, but I cannot ping the other computers in the network.
I ran full scans with McAfee, Spybot and Malwarebytes to clean out anything dodgy, but still no change. I tried turning off McAfee's firewall (and then the whole program), but that didn't make a difference, either. I'm not sure what's suddenly blocking the connection.

I was provided with a new wireless modem from our internet service provider (the old modem was antiquated and needed updating). After this, i have been unable to connect to the internet on my laptop on a wireless basis. I can search for the modem via the usual means and seemingly connect, but when i am connected it states that i have 'Local Access' only and i am unable to access the internet at all. I am also unable to connect to the internet on a wireless basis when in safe mode.I am however, able to connect using a Ethernet cable from the modem.My laptop is fairly old but it is fine for our needs and thus i do not really want to change it unless totally necessary. I just wonder if it is something relatively simple that i am overlooking?My son also has a more modern laptop, and he tells me that he can use the internet via our new modem without any problems. Which would suggest there is nothing wrong with the modem.The operating system is Windows Vista, if that makes any difference.

I have tried everything - virus checks, HijackThis, disabling services and startup. I have three tabs set for home (CNN, Yahoo and Gmail). Gmail connects but I can't access any other sites. Also Outlook 2007 connects to the MS Exchange Server. The behavior is a little weird because when I first boot up, all my tabs load properly but then after a minute or two, I press the "home" button and suddenly nothing will connect (except Gmail, which still continues to connect). All has been fine for years and then all of a sudden this happened when I returned from a business trip (had the computer with me and everything was fine). I have ruled out router and other connection issues. In Safe Mode, the connections are just fine. As a last resort, I may reinstall XP but I would obviously prefer not to.I have a Lenovo Thinkpad T400, running XP SP3.

My Compaq Presario V2000 (HP) using Win-xp3 will only connect to the internet using safe mode. When trying to connect in normal mode a message appears saying I cannot display webpage and what I can try is diagnose connection problems. When I click on diagnose problems it tells me that Windows cannot troubleshoot network connection because an error has occured.

I have installed an Aironet 1130AG and utilized a power injector for the power source. I have the settings configured correctly in IOS, but the AP takes about 7 minutes to come on (illuminate LED status lights) once the Ethernet cable is connected. Is this 7 minute power-on delay normal when using POE? I am used to the instanteous "on" that usually comes with Cisco products being connected directly to the AC adapter.

I can use MSN and SKYPE and play games in normal mode but i cant browse web pages properly. They are insanely slow or not working at all. I tried to run in safe mode and everything seems to be fine in there. I tried opera, ie, chrome, mozilla. When I normally start my pc i cant access the internet. I use the built in diagnostic problem program. First it tell me to reset my winsock cause somethings wrong with it, and I do, but then after i restart my pc i still can't connect to internet . So i run the diagnostic thing again and it says something like "contact the person that manages your windows product support or go online to support.microsoft.com/winxp" and I did and nothing worked. But for some strange reason I can access the internet when i run my pc in safe mode with networking. So how can i fix it so than i can access the internet in normal pc mode...? I've tried alot of programs and different form of resetting it in the command prompt.

I have a Cisco ASA 5510 with a strange issue. When I power it ON, the following is the status of the front panel LED:
Power is OFF
Status is Amber
Active is Amber
VPN is Green
Flash is OFF
Also nothing comes up on the console. I suspected a Power supply issue and replaced it, but still it doesn't seem to work.I cant open up a TAC as I do not have a Smart Net contract.

I have tried everything to find out what is blocking my internet connection from working in regular mode for more than 30 seconds. Worked fine and then all of a sudden the Internet didn't work anymore. So I ran the computer in safe mode and it works fine, but still no luck in regular mode. Ran worm removal and spybot but nothing has worked. Also the windows bar is missing now for some reason. Windows Xp Service Pack 3.

Yesterday I picked up a laptop of a friend of mine which had some problems with the Internet connectivity. Turns out, Internet only works when booted in Safe Mode, however, it does ping in Normal Mode so there is connectivity. Tried IE and Firefox, both do not work in Normal Mode and do work in Safe Mode. MSN Messenger won't work in Normal Mode either. After carefully checking the Windows event logs, it looks like some services are not booted in normal mode.I have executed the following steps and measures in order for me to see if I would be able to fix the problem myself.
1) Boot in Normal Mode:
- Checked the settings of the adapter, no exclamation marks or other problems.
- Installed Revo Uninstaller Pro > Uninstalled all present antivirus program
- Installed Microsoft Security Essentials
- Ran a Full scan with Microsoft Securty Essentials; 1 virus > removed (just a virus which gives pop-ups)
- Installed CC Cleaner, cleaned the whole system
- Shut off all antivirus programs, IE and Firefox still not working.
2) Looked for extra information:cmd > Ipconfig/all Normal Mode [code]
