D-Link (DI-524) - Looking For Right Wireless Router?

So my old D-Link (DI-524) just conked out and for some reason will no longer give a wireless signal. I'm looking for an affordable router that will work for 1) hardwiring into my xbox for some gaming and mostly Netflix and 2) give a solid connection to my MacBook in the home with maybe one additional laptop connection at times. Having the ability to stream music on speakers would be a good plus considering future stereo purchases.

I have a BSNL BB connection. When I use the connection directly, without adding TP Link router, all the websites open flawlessly. Once when I connect the wireless router, certain websites for example Yahoomail, pepperfry.com, yepme.com don't open at all. These are just examples, but I'm unable to access many sites which is a bit annoying. But sites such as gmail, youtube, facebook open clean, there are no issues. I didn't make any configuration changes too. I tried it more than three or four times, but there is a restricted access only.

I have a TP-Link (TL-WR941ND) wireless router in my living room and I want to expand my connectivity to get to the bedrooms area. I have a D-link (DI-524)wireless G router I want to take advantage of. How can I connect the two routers (no cables to be used) together so I can have acces to the internet from my room?

I have a buddy who owns a bar and wants to install a insecure wireless router for his customers downstream from his SBC Global ATT Modem/Wireless Router combo.
-Modem/Router Combo: Actiontec GT724WG
-Downstream Unsecure Wireless Router: D-Link DIR-651
He says has 3 static ips for the modem, and 1 of the network cables coming from the modem directly into the D-Link Router. I first attempted to just plug it into the uplink, and let DCHP do its magic, but I had no luck with that. I could connect to the router but it didn't have internet.
So I restarted the downstream router, and plugged the network cable into the 1st port, and suddenly I had internet on the wireless but it would constantly go up and down, and ping times were extreme erratic.

I have a weird problem. I bought recently a new router, and when I try to connect to the settings on it on http://198.168.0.1 it sometimes works, mostly doesn't. When I ping other devices which are connected it, it's the same; sometimes get a response, mostly I don't. The router model is: TP-LINK 150Mbps Wireless N Router TL-WR740N, The thing which it's connected to is entitled "ADSL2+ Ethernet bridge router" That aforementioned thing is suppoused to be a modem. But, when I try to connect to its settings from http://10.0.0.138 , I'm able to, and other who are connected to the network give response to a ping.

I'm having an intermittent issue with my E4200v2 router. Frequently I will be using a device on the wireless network, and it will be unable to reach the internet. Normally I would assume this was a problem with the cable modem, but disconnecting from and reconnecting to the router often fixes the problem.

It's a D-Link Wireless N 150.I constantly get an "Excellent" signal from the router, but my HP Mini netbook keeps disconnecting and re-connecting. It happens three to ten times in each hour, and it re-connects quickly, but the hiccup is annoying. Once in a blue moon, it'll disconnect and refuse to re-connect for a while.Other items that use the router--our iPhones, our Nintendo 3DS's, our Wii, our Xbox--don't have an issue.My netbook doesn't have a problem if I use wireless somewhere else, like in a coffee shop or McDonalds or wherever.I've tried updating my drivers, without much luck.

Recently 3g was made available, and I just manage to get and hold a reasonable connection (3-5mb/s) by putting the 3g dongle on my roof and running a long usb lead down to my pc.Running virtual router manager on my pc I can connect my iphone/ipad/other laptop and apple tv to the internet, however the wireless from the laptop is weak and when trying to use Apple's TV mirroring, the signal is too weak.I have an old ADSL router (TP-Link TL-W8961ND), using the Wifi network from this I am able to produce a smooth picture on the Apple TV, but connecting to this network, I lose my internet connection.Is there anyway I can bridge the 3g connection from my laptop to the router - either wireless or via ethernet cable to share the internet connection, and create a more stable wireless connection at the same time?

Just for no reason that I know of the wireless stopped working. I can can connect to the SSID fine and there seems to be good signal strength, but no wireless internet access.
I have up to date February 15, 2011 firmware, 205NA, hardware version = B1.I have done a reset with no luck.I have done a 30/30/30 factory reset = no luck

I have an old D-Link DIR-615 wireless N router that I am trying to re-purpose as a wireless bridge so I have network access in the back part of the house where I can't run ethernet wires.
I successfully installed installed DD-WRT on the D-Link and thought I had configured the D-Link into a wireless bridge; however, the D-Link just does not want to communicate with my primary Zoom Cable Modem / Wireless Router. Pings between the two devices return nothing. I disabled all security, they are on the same subnet (192.168.0.1 and 192.168.0.6 for the D-Link), same SSID, etc.
I attached a word doc with screen shots of the settings on both devices.

I'm using Windows 7 with a TP Link router and an RCA cable modem. I only have a laptop and I had it set up so I had wireless on it, and was able to get wireless on my smartphone as well. All of a sudden the wireless stopped working and now I can only connect to the internet with the router plugged in to my laptop. I just updated my wireless driver and have tried the 192.168.0.1 thing so many times and nothing seems to work. I also exchanged my router for a new one and that worked for about a week and then stopped working again. This happened once before and it didn't work for a couple days and then I woke up one morning and it worked again.

Im using a Tp-link wireless router and I have a modem attached to my pc. I just noticed that if I turn off my router, the Ethernet light on my modem turns off, but the power and dsl lights are still on. Is there a way for me to use my pc even if my router is turned off? If I remember right, i've tried it before and it worked... But now, I have to turn on my router just for me to be able to connect to the net on my pc.

I am using a USB Wireless Lan card to connect to the WiFi for over a year now. Never had any problems. Today suddenly i am unable to locate my WiFi router. This said I am able to see my neighbors router and am also able to connect to it. My router is working on other computers connected through WiFi. recently purchased the Wireless N D-Link Router DIR-615. After a few hiccups the router works with all of our computers, blackberry's, wireless printer and Ipod touch's however my Apple TV 1G will not connect to the network. The Apple TV will just give the error code -6 after the password for the network has been entered. I double checked that the password for the router is only WEP 10 hex digits and that it is correct have tried reseting the Apple TV to the factory settings and using the DHCP Reservation in the network settings of the router and manually configuring the TC/IP settings on the Apple TV (Not quite sure what I am doing with this though so put everything back). I have also tried switching the 802.11

To start off, the wireless router we have is a D-LINK 615 Wireless N 300 Router.We've had this router for a couple of months now and only recently has it been giving us grief. When we first got it (it was actually a friend's who had lent it to me but have been using ever since), it was working like a charm. No dropped connections, etc.However, as of a few weeks ago, we've began to notice that the connection has been dropping constantly. It started one a day around the same time (in the evening) and ever since has happened multiple times per day.The connection will either drop all together (lights still going on flashing) or there will be a limited connection (as stated in Windows) and I can't do anything. This happens for my laptop as well as my PS3. My desktop is hard-wired so there's never a connection issue there. Power cycling the router usually fixes the issue but again, this is constant and keeps disconnecting for some reason and having to power cycle every day is annoying.All the lights are always flashing like normal but the connection just drops off.

we just recently upgraded our router from an old model of d-link to tp link's tl-wr741nd. the wireless router was set up fine. but we noticed that we now experienced disconnection problems. our internet would just disconnect and then connect again every 5 minutes or so. but when i check the modem everything's fine. lights are on. even the lights on the modem are on. this problem never happened on our old router. is this possibly because of the N technology our new router has?

I set up my router and it does not get a WAN IP.The PPPoE user/pw ist 100% correct but in the "status field" it always says: "connecting" and i can't get an IP.The router is connected with the modem via RJ45 cabel that was in the box.My PC has no problem getting to the internet with direct modem communication (pppoe).
