D-Link DIR-615 :: Can't Access 192.168.0.1 Anymore?

I am using the DIR-615 (Revision D with firmware 4.13) as a secondary router (for using its WLAN) by having it connected to another DHCP router and having its DHCP and UPnP functions deactivated as instructed in the users manual.Everything is working as it should but ever since then, I cannot connect to the configuration site of the DIR-615 (192.168.0.1) anymore (request times out not matter if I connect via LAN or WLAN). So everytime I want to access it (for changing WLAN settings like changing channels as I frequently have to do) I have to reset the router to its default settings and install a 15 meter ethernet cable across the house.s the DIR-615 designed in this way? Is there no way I can access the DIR-615 configuration site after deactivating DHCP and UPnP?

I have been using d link routers for a very long time. However, recently I have a problem with one of my dlink router..
Basically I have a Wireless N 150 Home Router (DIR-600 B2). I managed to reset and login to the router at http://192.168.0.1. I tried to made some configuration (disabling DHCP, some stuff, basically I was trying to configure this router as Wireless Repeater to connect to another room downstairs).
So it didn't connect so I do a reset (hold a pen for 20+ seconds at the reset button) and now I cant login to the router at http://192.168.0.1..

My Dlink DCS-930 camera won't work over 3G. It works fine on my home WiFi network. When on 3G it shows the camera, click it, tries to connect but just keep saying connection timeout.
It used to work over 3G fine, nothing has changed to my network. I've rebooted the camera and router numerous times, it has the latest firmware, but still won't work. I'm logged into my dlink account fine. I have an Apple Time Capsule.

I've tried changing the settings on my DLink wireless router, resetting it and my cable modem (by unplugging them and plugging them in again), and even restoring my iPod, but I cannot find my home wireless network! Both my iPod and my PC can find other networks, but not my own.My network is WPA-2 only, which my iPod should be able to see. The cipher type is TKIP. My wireless channel is 2.437GHz (channel 6, I can't change it). I even tried resetting my network settings on my ipod, with no luck.My router is a DLink DIR 615 wireless router and my computer is a PC that runs Windows 7. The router is able to connect to the internet; it's just the wireless portion that isn't working.

I can't connect with my D-Link router 4300 to the modem. It's like my router doesn't recognize the internet connection of my modem because there is no available connection at all, for every single PC in my home ! When I connect a cable to my PC, it works. LED is solid red (front) and solid blue (rear). try resetting thru the pinhole button but problem still the same. Camera not detected anymore on my network. I've try switching on and off, problem still there.

Just replaced my SMC Gateway with a Cisco Home Networking Modem, router doesn't see DCS 930 cameras. Working perfect before. I had the website filter ON and it was working very well to block a few websites on a schedule. And after a few month, it doesn't work any more. While it is possible that I scewed up the setting , I have tried so many settings.

I had this problem where 2 users could only access my RV042 vpn one at a time
The Linksys solution was to give these 2 users a RV042 as well. That worked, 2 can access my vpn at the same time. We use QuickVPN for this purpose
But now there users cannot access another Cisco vpn any more in our office. I attach a schematic and a screen shot of the error when trying to connect to the professional vpn with vpn client version 5.0.07.290
The 2 notebooks epresent the 2 users
The one at the bottom is my vpn
The connection on the left is the professional vpn
We now use remote desktop to my vpn to get to the professional vpn, that work but we don't like it

Bought an Acer Aspire One 522 netbook 3 days ago. It's got Windows 7 Starter installed as an OS. Had no problem connecting to my home network via wireless router, but yesterday all of a sudden it stopped working. Ever since my home network no longer shows up in the "Wireless Network Connections" list at the bottom right of the taskbar. I have 2 flatmates they both have no problem connecting and my iphone 4 also finds and connects without a problem. I woke up this morning to find that I cannot surf the web anymore. I was able to last night just fine. My set up is this: Verizon Fios router(192.168.1.1)> Netgear gigabit switch> SMC router smcwbr14s-n3 (192.168.1.201) the Fios router is has a build in wireless but is in another building and i am not within range of it. I have a cat 5 cable that run between 2 house's... the cable comes into my house and into my switch then to my SMC router (smcwbr14s-n3 ) that is running in bridged mode to function as an AP. I can connect to a lan port on the switch or router and connect to the web (im currently in a lan port now.) Here's the thing, I can still connect to the wireless, it's just so slow (1Mbs -6Mbs)that i am unable to get anywhere... I do have security setup (WPA2) an im going to kill that to see if it resolves the issue... but it has been working fine with the current security setting for the last 5 months, so i dont really thing that is the issue.

I have got a problem with my LAN connection. I can't connect to the internet anymore and I can't reach my router. I rebooted my router several times, but that didn't work. I thought my network adapter was broken, so I bought a new one and reinstalled the driver, but it did not work. My router does recognize my computer though. When I tried to boot in safe mode with network opportunities, I was able to connect with my router and internet. I can't use System Restore as I don't have any restore points.

I bought an ASUS P8Z77-V motherboard, an i5 3570K and a Corsair Vengeance 4GB card a month ago. I built it with a Radeon HD 5670 graphic card, CoolerMaster 500W, a Sony lightscribe DVDRW unit and an old HD 500GB. The PSUs fan stopped working 3 weeks ago and I didnt notice this. While playing games the computer shut down, and I quickly opened the case. The PSU was hot and I could smell burned plastic. A week after I randomly tried to start the computer and guess what!? IT WORKS! Then I realised that only the fan was broken. I took the PSU and fan appart and lubricated the fan. It spins like a charm but I think I lost a piece of it and now its loud as hell but it works. I thougt this story might have something to do with the issue.
THE ISSUE: My internet has been working like a charm untill a week ago. A week ago the LAN or wired connection stopped working. I had to disable LAN adapter in BIOS else it would try to connect forever and I couldnt disable it in Windows. I didnt bother to solve it since my motherboard has a Wireless adaptor, so I just connected wirelessly. Today the wireless stopped working. I figured out that I might have goten a virus? I formated the disk and reinstalled WIN7 x64. I install the drivers, and the wireless and LAN still dont work. I reinstall WIN7 once again. Still nothing. I remember that I have to set the IP adress myself. So I go to Wireless adptor - preferences - IPV4 - type the stuff in, and when trying to close the window it freezes. After closing it in task manager a message "An unexpected error has occured" appears. I have to close Explorer.exe too and then after 2 attempts I get to close the window and save normally, but still no connection.

I have 2 computers. 1 Desktop and 1 Laptop. I have been getting internet on my desktop through a bridge connection via my laptop, which is connected to our modem wirelessly. We have been using Qwest as our internet provider. We just recently upgraded to a 12mb connection. In doing so, we had to set up a new modem. The setup went smooth, and every other computer can connect to it just fine, including my laptop. But here is where the problem lies.So my laptop is connected to the modem (we don't have a router), and my desktop is still connected to my laptop via bridge connection. On my laptop's side, the Wireless Network Connection, Local Area Connection 2 (my desktop), and Network Bridge are all working just fine. However, on my desktop's side, "Local Area Connection" is marked as "Unidentified Network".
I found this site through searching something on google and found someone that seemed to have the exact same problem. I read through it all and tried all the suggestions he was given. For him, his problem was fixed. For me, the same problem still exists. Here is the link to the thread - I have tried uninstalling the ethernet drivers and restarting my computer and i have tried those commands in CMD for the resets and restarted my computer, but they did not work. I have also done a few other things i believe but can't recall exactly what they were.

We have a VPN setup for a customer between our shop and their shop 2.5 hours away. This is a Cisco 871.We had Verizon and the connection worked (still does) great! We had to switch providers as they sold to Frontier and were going to change our IPs anyways so why not switch to a faster provider instead.We switched to Charter. I have ZERO, NADA, ZILTCH knowledge of Cisco and I plan to keep it that was as they are way more complicated then they should be. Ill stay with my Sonicwall.....Anyways.... I took the config and did a find and replace for all the IP's, Gateways, DNS etc....I blasted that into the router and it took right off and connected up the VPN in a matter of 2 minutes. I was estatic as I knew I was going to sleep good that night not worrying about it..............Untill the next day at 11 am when I get a phone call from work saying the connection was down.
I go and realize that the router cant see the outside world anymore, therefor was obviously not going to see the peer IP address. I was dumbfounded!. To make a long story short I tried reconfiging therouter with the same file. I even redid the find and replace and resaved it to no avail. Still no go, no internet. All the proper IPs, Gateways and DNS numbers are where they should be. To test that its the config and/or something to far above me. I re configed the router with the old config and hooked it back up to verizon, it took right off and reestablished the VPN and was working.

So, I currently have a desktop and 3 laptops connected wireless to the router in my home, yet the GATEWAY laptop no longer connects wireless. I have to use the wire in order to connect to the internet and it's starting to become annoying. I have not changed ISPs.Yes, I have contacted my ISP about the matter, but, as expected, to no avail.No, I am not using a new modem.To my knowledge, I have made no network related changes whatsoever since the problem arose.This will certainly raise the question "Why do you need to change your IP, anyway?" Well, to be perfectly honest, the game site that I frequent has a newly implemented hacking detection system that temporarily bans a user from entering all game rooms if it detects any suspicious activity on the user's part. This system is quite fallible and hence results in many unwarranted bans daily. In the event that I am unlucky enough to fall victim to the ban hammer, I simply change my IP and continue playing.

However for some reason (even after port forwarding the right one) people still can't connect. About last week Thursday Night going into Friday my laptop tablet was able to connect to the internet.Once Friday morning came around,the thing stopped connecting to my wireless adapter.I looked up what to do and tried about as much as i could understand.For example,resetting my computer,restarting the modem by unplugging it then plugging it back in,retyping the password to connect to the wireless connection,switching the wifi button on my tablet off and on,checking to see if dhcp was enabled,and removing the network from the laptops memory & trying to reconnect anew.So far nothing has worked.

When I came back home today I saw that my SG200-08 switch did not look fine.Basically, the system LED of the switch keeps blinking and end devices connected just don't have any network.I tried to reset the switch with the "reset" button (with a paper clip) the system LED was orange during just a second and then continue to blink.What is wrong with the switch?Is there a way to flash a new firmware and/or to delete the configuration file?
