DT 815 ADSL2 - How To Configure Binatone Router For Airtel Broadband
Jul 22, 2012
I have Binatone DT 815 ADSL2 router (not wireless) with Airtel broadband connction. Recently it has started causing problem. About once in a fortnight, like Additional log on information may be required or Your router is not registerd with us or things like that. So every now and then the technician has to be called for configuring the router. After that it works for some days. Then again the problem and reconfiguring, which is quite problematic.
I had a Airtel connection with me for which i was provided Beetel 450 BXI ADSL2 + Router to connect to net using wi-fi on my laptop. How ever now i have changed my isp to ortel cable net providers.i access net on my laptop using lan cable connected from cable modem to my laptophow to configure Beetel 450 BXI ADSL2 + Router so that i connect my cable modem to Beetel 450 BXI ADSL2 + Router and access net wi-fi on my laptop. my os is vista.
i am trying to configure Cisco 861 router for simple internet access using my broadband connection. despite of all my efforts, I am not able to browse any site from my directly connected PC having IP address 192.168.1.254/24. but I can ping all internet destinations from router prompt. I believe, I am having problem in NAT becuase I do not see any stats or translations. I have attached the output of running configuration, sh version, sh ip nat stat, sh ip nat trans and sh ip route.
cofigure a ADSL2+ Conexion in an 1941 router.line protocol are up but didn't have ip adresse in my interface.[code] i don't know how i can find the probleme, and debug's comandes no show me anything.
I'm trying to configure an 887VA for a pppoe ADSL2+ connection with no luck.I know the ISP requires pppoe (LLC), and the pvc is 8/35. The CD light is on, and the line is up, but the 887 just won't connect

I've a Airtel Broadband connection with a Beetel WiFi Router. I've installed Windows Vista on my laptop. Though the network icon in the Task Bar shows that its connected I'm not able to connect to the internet. I've tried different browsers but failed. Also I've tried to ping websites in command prompt even that is not working. The connection works absolutely fine on my brother's Dell laptop hence I'm sure that there is no problem with the Router.
Here is the complete system configuration you would need to know. Dell Latitude D630 Laptop. Windows Vista 32bit OS. Beetel WiFi Router.
I thought I saw a post/question in regards to "how to" configure a Broadband backup for a MPLS circuit.. What I am trying to do is use a cable/dsl/ broadband (secondary) connection as a backup to a MPLS circuit (primary). I have EIGRP and BGP configured on both the branch endpoint and the tunnel headend. The tunnel is used by the interface that connects to the secondary circuit. The branch location router is a 1841 and the "headend" tunnel router is a 3825. I am wondering about the configuration/syntax of a "weight" or static route that can be used to have data flow over the tunnel when the MPLS circuit goes down - and then switch back to the MPLS circuit when it comes back on line.
Half of the time i have to stay at hotel due to business trip. The hotel i stay will provide free internet broadband with cable but no WIFI. Can i set up WIFI if i have router?
I use a wired network connection to my neighbours Vodafone Modem (We share his monthly cost). I also have a TP-LINK 54M Wireless ADSL2+ Router from a previous broadband contract with a landline phone company. Is it possible to reset and configure the TP-LINK Router to act as a relay unit, connected to the network cable, so I can then use my laptop elsewhere in the house?
I need to look at options for terminating multple ADSL2+ circuits in the UK.Is it worth investing in a router to terminate multiple connections? Or do you think I could just use multiple 877 routers connecting to a good core multilayer switch?

I want to add more users to my home network and I couldn't, at this moment I only can connect 8 devices (12 devices at least) when I try to connect the next one its impossible, but if I take off one of the connected devices then the router allows to connect the new one.How can I connect more than 8 devices to my router ? (wireless)Also, is there any limits with Wireless MAC Address Filter ? because I can't add more than 8 MAC addresses in my old router I could do that.

I Bought thisTD-W8968 a month back.. It was working alright till a few days back. From the past 3days i'm experiencing internet light and DSL light going off...The DSL light is not constant even for 5min...When the DSL light comes up, the internet light takes almost 5min to comeup or before internet light come up the DSL light goes off. There wasn't problem with my old UT star modem..I already checked, its running fine without disconnection..When i replace it with TD-W8968 router ,the problem continues.. When my internet connection was good...The SNR margin was like 25 for upstream and 31 for downstream...After 2 days it went mad. here are the images shows about current reading..Fluctuates between 0.2 - 100 upstream and 2-35 for downstream

Recently my wireless router has started disconnecting again and again...Whenever I connect it to my desktop and laptop (sometimes iphone), it disconnects in between which causes a lot of delay .The work which could be completed in minutes takes hours. Here is my current system log from the router : code...

I have a router supplied by my ISP which is effectively locked down, the wireless on that router give me a massive 35 Mbps (yes i know... awesome) so I wanted to get something that would allow me to stream movies wirelessly in the house. The setup I had before was Thompson DSL router downstairs (ISP router) running the DSL connection and Wireless, a TP-Link 200Mbps Power over Ethernet connecting upstairs to a Netgear ADSL Wireless router (somewhat flaky device). This router had DHCP disabled and a static IP address, I had configured wireless with the same SSID, password and channel as the ISP router and they were all happy and everything was working (most of the time except when the netgear would crash or the 35MB wifi was too slow to achieve what I wanted).
What I would like to do is this... ISP router downstairs with wifi disabled so it just handles DHCP and DSL connection, router upstairs (New TP-Link) running new WiFi, DHCP disabled (static IP address for Router) but connected to router downstairs through TP-Link Power over Ethernet.
I was hoping it was as simple as the Netgear router where disabling DHCP was enough for it to see the other router and just work but it isn't doing that
I can ping the ISP router but cannot get to the internet,

I tried to upgrade a TD-VG3631 that came with firmware version TD-VG3631_V1_120929 to the latest TD-VG3631_V1_130108 version.[url]...Is there a recovery procedure to flash back a firmware?
I cannot open the config page of beetel adsl2 router using 192.168.1.1I have connected my laptop to router via Lan cable. Now when I give the ipconfig, I get some random IP and does not get the default gateway: Autoconfiguration IPv4 Address. . : 169.254.129.188 Subnet Mask . . . . . . . . . . . : 255.255.0.0 Default Gateway . . . . . . . . . :I cannot ping 192.168.1.1 nor 169.254.129.1 thus the web page of router cannot be opened. This all happened after I reset my router.
I have a video conferencing device and I struggled a lot with a bunch of different routers. I was giving up but then I plugged in a friend's old Linksys/Cisco Adsl gateway and all the problems disappeared (kudos to Cisco). The problem is that the gateway is not ADSL2+. I have since borrowed a Linksys/Cisco ADSL2+ router, however, there isn't a possibility to enter port speeds/duplex manually (required to prevent packet loss in video conferencing, I really want to have that option for the peace of mind). I have been looking around on the internet but I can't seem to find this ability any routers' specs. What I need is as follows:
- Has to be Cisco or Linksys router - Has to be ADSL2+ (Annex A) - Doesn't have to be wireless, even single port is OK - Preferably has DMZ - Ability to hard code lan port speed/duplex (i.e. no autosense) - No other functions needed so hopefully a cheap option
