Dell Laptop Is Unable To Access Internet Through Netgear Wireless Router?

My Dell Laptop is unable to access internet through my Netgear wireless router. Other equipment (Lenovo laptop, ipad, iphone, PS3) accessing internet fine through same router. I ran the onboard Dell Wireless WLAN Card Utility. Hardware diagonistics all pass. Connection diagnostics reports:

Association Passed
Authentication Passed
Local IP Address Passed

I have a Dell Inspiron 6000 laptop and Netgear WGR614v6 that connect wirelessly, however I cannot connect to the internet. I can however connect the laptop to other wireless connections with no problem (ie McDonalds), and can connect other laptops to the router with no problems (ie company laptop).

Today after I restarted my laptop (Dell vostro 1400 running windows), I found that I can't open any pages or sites. My wireless utility icon tells me that my laptop is connected to my router, but neither of my browsers (chrome or firefox) will load anything. However, if I turn off my wireless (there's a switch that I can trigger) and try to load a page immediately after turning it back on, then a page will load, though anything after that will not. I'm positive that it's not my router or my internet because my computer and iPod touch connect perfectly fine, it's just my laptop will not.I thought that I might have accidentally gotten malware so I ran malwarebytes in safe mode and it found one Trojan, which I removed afterwards, though I don't remember what it's name or type was. I restarted my laptop afterwards hoping that removing the Trojan would work but I'm still having the same problem.

Using Windows 7 on a dell laptop unable to connect to the Internet in normal mode but can connect in safe mode. I think one of the family has deleted something form the programs menu. It worked fine untill a number of weeks ago Internet connection to my home is fine as all other computers work.

I have a dell latitude d610 laptop...until last night, I had no problems connecting my laptop to the wireless router...then..I'm not sure what happened, but I can't connect anymore. My daughter has the same kind of laptop and has absolutely no problems with connecting...so, it has to be something with mine. It's like it doesn't know that there is a wireless connection available.

I bought Dell Inspiron 5520 two weeks ago in Dubai, UAE.My Internet was working fine first couple of days but since past 4 days I am not able to connect to internet via Wifi (however there are other laptops i.e. HP and Dell) that are able to use the same Wifi to connect to internet but my brand new Dell us not able.I am not quite techie, only understand very basics of this whole laptop (hardware and softwares etc)

I have Windows 7 on Dell N4110. I am unable to connect to my netgear router wirelessly. If i restart the router, it may work for some time but then again gets disconnected. However, i can connect to it through wired connection. Others in my apartment can connect to the router. They dont have windows 7 (they use vista, ubuntu). Its working fine for them. I have tried many things like updating the router, disabling firewall, changing wireless security settings, updating windows but none of them seem to work. My friend who has the same laptop also cant connect when I cant. As soon as my connection is disconnected, his also disconnects.

I have a Dell Laptop Latitude 610 and I have not been able to connect to the Internet via the ethernet cable port for some four months now. I've tried downloading software from Dell's web site, I bought (and returned) and USB to Ethernet cable, only to find out that it was a model ahead of what this machine needs.I've asked local repair place (Microcenter) what it might be, but they'll only tell me after I pay $70 just to open it up.Another repair guy said that it is probably the motherboard and it wasn't worth fixing. It is a period of time, of some weeks, since my laptop is unable to access the internet. It succesfully connects to a wireless network, I can see the name of it, but after connecting my laptop is displaying "Unidentified network", below the network name. Also, I don't have Internet access. In the task bar, my wireless icon has an exclamation mark, in a yellow triangle. I have tried to connect with another laptop at a wireless network my laptop can't connect and it worked for the other laptop. So, the problem is with my laptop, not with the network.

I have a Dell Inspiron 15R laptop. I can connect to the internet with excellent connectivity but it still shows "No Internet Access". I have been struggling since last 2 days to resolve this issue so have gone through various forums to find a solution but none worked. Here are the things that I have already tried:1. Restarted / Reset my modem.2. ipconfig / release and renew.3. Deselect IPv6.4. net stop and start for winhttpautoproxysvc and dhcp client.5. Turn off McAfee firewall.6. Reset network adapter settings.I can connect to internet in "safe mode with networking" but not in normal mode.In fact, I can connect to the same wi-fi using my smartphone. I am now unable to access the internet with my Dell 560 running windows7. I have Verizon Fios for internet access. Windows network diagnostics reports that the connection between my access point,router or cable modem and the internet is broken and the network gateway is accessible but windows could not receive network traffic from the internet. Verizon's in-house -agent reports that there seems a connection problem between my router and the wall jack. I am able to access the internet with another computer and the the same router. I also have no problems with my iPad. I have interchanged cables and ports on the router.

Out of no where today, my wireless connection has begun saying "No internet access" and I can't go anywhere online Ever since it began happening, it's been saying that for longer amounts of time. So at first it was only a few seconds, now it's been taking a minute until I re-gain internet access. I haven't installed anything or ran any executables lately, don't have any viruses, I obtain my DNS and IP addresses automatically, and a few minutes ago I installed the newest firmware update of my router and I'm still losing internet. I have a NetGear WNDR3400 router.

Have two other computers that connect with ease to the Netgear wireless router, but the new computer will not access the internet. I have been searching for answers and have tried about everything I can find nuder similar posts, but I still have not internet access. At varying times, I have had "internet access", but no actual ability to load websites. Right now, I do not even have access. I have an Inspiron 1721 laptop and can no longer acces the internet unless I attach the ethernet cable from my wireless modem. In other words, I can no longer access the wireless internet from my laptop. I have talked with my internet service provider and the say the problem is the settings with the laptop itself because I can access the internet from my tablet computer.

Every day for the past week my Internet access goes down. I have a netgear router connected to Comcast modem. I have to reset the modem then the router constantly and it gets irritating. I called comcast and they say reset them. But why should I have to constantly reset.... Sometimes I just ignore it and it comes back up later... what is going on??

The issue is that one Dell laptop is experiencing slow or no internet connectivity at all using wireless. Sometimes 1 to 2 minutes to load a page, other times the dreaded 'not able to display webpage' message. It's fine using Ethernet. I have another laptop (same exact brand/model) and it has no problems. I also have a Macbook Pro and other Apple IOS devices (iPod/iPads) that are fine. Several Ethernet connected devices are fine as well. The laptop in question had no issues with my previoius Linksys devices, which are a BEFSR41/WAP55AG as well as a WRT-54GS v2. This one laptop was fine the first day or two on the EA4500 but something happened which is causing this issue. I had to add the WAP55AG back onto my network so my son is happy again, but my plan was to decommission the other devices. Since last night 10/26/12 I have been experiencing random lag spikes on all games (Hawken Beta(installed yesterstay), Mechwarrior beta, MW3, and BF3).
* Framerates do NOT drop when the lag occurs
* Lag last for 1-3 seconds
* Lag occurs on both wireless and wired connections
* Lag occurs when no one but myself is on the network and while others are on it as well
* Only occurs while gaming as far as I can tell
* Unsure if other computers on network are lagging because none of them are gaming computers
* I have performed tests using SpeedTest and the ping/DL/UL speeds are normal
* Tried turning off Anti-virus (Kaspersky). No Change
* Ran virus and malware scans using Kaspersky and malwarebytes. Both negative results

I have Inspiron 1525 with Marvell Yukon 88E8040 PCI-E Fast Ethernet Controller. After reformat, the network will not detect wireless modem after I think I have downloaded all pertinent drivers. In Device Manager, under Other Devices, The Network Controller shows an exclamation mark that under Device Status says, "The drivers for this device are not installed. (Code 28) To reinstall the drivers for this device, click Reinstall Driver." I have turned on the button on the left of the laptop and still missing something.Prior to the reformat everything was working well. I had the Blue Screen of death andthat's the reason for the reformat.

I also am using a Dell Inspiron N5010 with Windows 7 and have trouble connecting to Netgear WNR 1000. I have an Apple that has no trouble making that connection. I have spent over $100 to a local computer repair company trying unsuccessfully trying to fix the problem and $129 to Dell Technical Services with equal lack of success and then was told by a technical support person that they had fixed it, that they would not provide futher work to fix it. The fact is that the error occurred again immediately the moment the Dell technician hung up. I spent the following day just running internet on a cable connection for about 8 hoooting.ble shurs trouble free and then switched it to wireless, which failed in about 10 minutes as my own troubleshooting. This made it clear to me that the problem was only in the wireless connection.
They problem is the Blue Screen error time message that pops up at random times any time the computer is operating on wireless. At other timerred again immediatelyre occuthe failuat s it operates normally. The Blue screen error causes the computer to shut down and restart. The only solution I have found is to return the Netgear router to the store where I bought it (within 30 days of purchase) and pay the additional cost of a different router.
Service personell should at least be kept aware or incompatibilites, explained or unexplained, between particular router models and particular computer models so as to save this waste of time and money. I have lost about 3 weeks of useful time on this computer in addition to over $200 in direct costs attempting to find a fix.

I am trying to setup a DIR-601 wireless router (Hardware Version: A1 Firmware Version : 1.00NA ) with my connection from Astound.I am able to connect to the internet from the cable modem (Motorola SURFboard SB5101) but I am unable to get it to work through the router. All the lights on the router look ok.When I look at the WAN status from the router setup page I see :

After a couple of hours using the internet, the connection stopped. The wireless router still had an 'Excellent' signal, but it also said I had no internet access. All of the other wireless devices in my house connect to the internet perfectly, including when right next to the laptop.I've tried disabling the firewall and resetting the computer a few times, but nothing seems to pick up the internet access. The troubleshooting guide tells me that it is a problem with the wireless modem, but quite obviously that isn't true.
