Dell :: True Mobile 1150 In Latitude C640 And WPA-PSK

I have 29 Latitude C640 laptops. they all have the Dell True Mobile 1150 (Internal Wireless) I need to be able to use WPA-PSK w/(TKIP) encryption. So I entered the express service tag and found a recent driver which says it supports WPA. I downloaded it, installed it, and it does allow me to enter WPA-PSK mode and allows me to input the key but it will not connect. I spend almost two hours on the phone with a Dell Wireless Support Agent, who finally tried to convince me that 802.11b does not support WPA.  (ACK---_)  When I asked why my service tag, input on the support page, takes me to a network driver for the TM 1150, which states the reason for the driver update is (Support of WPA in Windows XP), she placed me on silent hold, then elevated volume music hold, then transferred me to General Hardware support.... How to be successful in utilizing the True Mobile 1150 (aka Orinoco) and WPA.
