Devices Can See Dlink Dir 615 Router But Cannot Connect?

My wireless devices are having a hard time connecting though my router. They see the router and can connect to it but cannot get on the internet. When I go into my router and check Wireless Status to see connected devices the window is empty. Usually if I reboot my router some of my devices will connect but if I leave them idle for any amount of time the connection is dropped. Suggestions. I have Dell 530 desktop running Vist Home Premium and the router is Dlink Dir 615. The desktop has no issues connecting to the internet as it is connected through LAN port
Dlink Dir-657 keeps losing internet connection on wifi devices only . the connection remains to the router but no internet .if I disconnect the connection i am unable to reconnect to the router until i reboot it. My internet remains on my network cabled devices .I am running on an empty channel 3 , usually happens 20 to 60 minutes after the router is up . Dlink sent me a replacement refurbished one and this one is doing the same thing . I owned the original one for about 5 months with no problems at all ,no new electronics in the house and have not changed the placement of the router .
I have a DLink wireless bridge connected to the wireless WRV210 router. All devices connected to DLink can access internet/email fine and can ping the WRV210, however, they can not ping any device connected to the WRV210 router, nor can any device on the WRV210 ping devices on the DLink writeless bridge. All devices are on the same subnet, 192,168.100.X with mask 255.255.255.0. All devices get their address from the WRV210.
I have a dlink router. Dir615 I believe. After installing hotspot Shield on my desktop, I can no longer connect to my router from my laptop, which I did not even install Hotspot shield in. when trying to connect, nothing happens. the wireless icon on the taskbar does not show that its trying to connect.
I have a new Dlink wireless router. Previously I had a Belkin router. The new one was said to have stronger signal. I am not able to connect via wireless to the router from a PC with Windows Vista. It works fine when I use a cable. Then I am able to connect to Internet via the router. Also, I am able to print on a wireless printer. It is also possible to use Internet from an Ipad with wifi. The Belkin router had a different network, 192.168.2....When the cable is connected I can ping 192.168.0.1 but not when I remove the cable. In Windows Vista the connection has status "connected". I would like to connect a hard drive that has USB enclosure to an wireless N dlink extreem router so that I can access files wirelessly on my laptop. I installed SharePort utility on my pc and it is showing drive in the utility connected but can not see it in explore like the way I see when drive is connected directly to LAPTOP using USB port. I also tried to map the drive but nothing works.anything on WIN 7 side ? I tried the same with a USB jump drive but same thing.

set up of the router? There's so many options, manual internet set up, automatic internet set up, networking setup.The Quick CD installation got stuck trying to find the router. Do i need to connect the ethernet wire to my modem then connect my computer to it wirelessly? Do I need to connect the ehernet wire to my modem and connect my computer to it via another ethernet port in the router? Do I even need to connect my ethernet wire to my modem in the first place?
Now I am no techi but I think i have set evrything up ok but when i input my host name in ie all that happens is that it brings up my router admin page. I don't see how i can get port forwarding wrong so thats not the problem, the dvr is a zeus and its using port 80, which according to a port checking tool is closed (is that the problem) the router is a Dlink dsl 2680. Its a Toshiba laptop and she has a d-link 2680 wireless router. The laptop will successfully connect to the internet through an ethernet cable, and will connect to the wireless network fine but when wireless i cannot access the internet. I have an iphone which connects to the wireless network and accesses the web perfectly.I have tried everything I can think of and find online to try and talktalk tech support won't assist as its a hardware setup issue.

i have internet connection which is connect using dynamic ip address but if i add ip address in Local Area Connection i get two networks, one is internet dynamic ip & other one is ip which i setup in Local area connection. so if i select LAN network for lan clients i can access lan. but now i have DLINK DIR 615 router so what should be my settings?
I started the FTP Server at the dlink and forwarded port 80 and port 21 to the ipadress from my NAS, surely i activated it. Port 80 for the webmask Port 21 for the FTP server. If i connected me at my homenetwork and typ in my browser: ftp://"username".dyndns.org the ftp server works, also the webmask from the Sharecenter. If i want to connect me from my work or other pc's, the ftp didn't work. can't ping "username".dyndns.org
getting my computer connected to the internet.I have a fresh install of XP Media Center Edition with SP2. I don't really have anything else installed as I wanted to make sure my internet connection was working to get updates. My computer is a Dell XPS720 desktop I have a DSL connection with [URL] and a Dlink Wireless Router DIR655.I have two portable computers that are on the local network with wireless connections and they are working o.k.On my desktop at the command prompt; I cannot "ping" anything and "ipconfig /all" returns nothing at all.
All of a sudden my laptop, android phone and blu ray player (all wireless devices) can't communicate with my wired devices (marantz receiver and samsung tv). Everything still connects to the internet independently but i can't for instance play music from my wireless laptop to my wired marantz receiver. I had no trouble with this last week and didn't change anything (that I'm aware of) I did get Verizon to switch out my router but it didn't solve anything. My wife's computer also cannot connect to wired devices. Lastly, if I connect my laptop with via ethernet cable it sees wired devices fine. I tried shutting off windows firewall but didn't work. I have no other firewall/virus software installed. I can ping to all devices (wired and wireless) from my laptop.
I just bout a lynksys wireless adapter to connect my dvr to the internet. I would also like to connect my Blu Ray player. Can I do this with an 'ethernet splitter'?
I want to connect my ps3, sky hd+ box and samsung smart tv. Upstairs is my wireless router and I have connected to this by using a power supply networking adaptor (duvelo). I have since purchased a cheap ethernet switch from ebay and plugged this into the power adaptor connection next to my ps3, sky hd+ and samsung smart tv downstairs. I thought by connecting these 3 devices to the switch (which is connected to the duvelo adaptor) I could have all 3 devices simultaneously connected online. However, I still can only have 1 ethernet cable in the switch at once and hence only connect 1 device at a time.
I have a D-Link DIR-652 router, and I can see that it is broadcasting but I cannot connect through my laptop, tablet, or phone. Sometimes it will let me connect but other times it says it is unable to. I can connect when I plug into the router through a cable. I'm doing that now, and I did an ipconfig/all in case to see that:

I have 3 laptops, 2 tivos, wii, ipad, i touch, etc..... how many items can connect to one router without drops outs? My internet keeps dropping off since my last device connected to my wireless home network and we have to keep hitting the reset button. Do different routers support more devices than others?
All of a sudden my browser wouldn't connect to any websites. Tried f.fox, IE and Chrome. But I could connect to the router and other devices, and another computer on the same router could connect to the internet. I use OpenDNS and started getting weird messages about my IP address being used by another user. I changed back to the ISP's DNS but it did not cure. In the end I used system restore back a couple of days and now all is well
I currently have an old Linksys WRT54G router with 4 ethernet and 1 internet port. I have an old Sprint 660 modem connected to the router for internet access. I am also using 3 of the 4 ethernet ports for wired devices (main PC, NAS drive and Dish Network net access). I have another PC and a printer connected wirelessly to the router.Now, with my modem going bad, CenturyLink has provided a combo modem/router (EQ660DR-F1) to be used in place of my Linksys router/modem, providing wired, wireless and modem capabilities in one.My problem is that the new router/modem has only one ethernet port along with a DSL port. Obviously, I can connect my main PC to the ethernet port, DSL to the modem port and connect my 2nd PC and printer wirelessly as they are now. How I might connect my other 2 wired devices, possibly by a hub, AP or bridge or some other means? Can one of these be connected by wireless to connect the other 2 devices, or do these have to be connected physically by wire?
For some reason, handheld devices cannot connect to our wireless dlink router. However, our HP laptop has no issue with connecting. Regardless of the make and model, no one else can connect at our home.
I cannot connect to the WiFi router, an all-in-one modem+router provided by my ISP. Now, I run an Ethernet cord from the router to my computer: the computer works just fine. As of a day ago, though, none of the home's Apple devices will connect to the network, despite reboots, password retypes, and shouting at them. Now today after the power went out, devices cannot connect to the internet.My PC connected directly to the cable modem results in internet connectivity.My PC connected to the router allows router access through 192.168.1.1.My PC connected to the router can NOT access the internet or otherwise get out to the modem.WiFi devices in the house cannot connect to the internet, but can still access the router through 192.168.1.1.Swapping cables results in the same behavior, so the PC can connect to the modem with either cable, and the computer can connect to the router with either cable.
I have the firmware 2.10NA. In my home we have about 4 laptops and 4 smartphones connecting to this router wirelessly and 3 of the laptops often lose connection for hours. We have tried unplugging the router and plugging it in again and factory reset and also resetting it through the IP address but the connection doesnt come back. Recently it has gone out for about 3 hours now. Also the wireless LED icon on the router constantly blinks is this normal? On the laptops where theres no connection it says limited connectivity. Is it possible that there is too many devices connected to the router or something. or could this be a problem with the laptops and not the router?
can't connect all my devices like an Iphone, Nook or another computed to the wireless network with the e2500, we have three devices but the others can't connect.
Just installed a Linksys N750 (EA3500) router (WAN - LAN setup). I settled both band networks : 2.4 Ghz and 5Ghz with different SSID and different WAP2/WAP personal mixt. WHile some devices will show both networks correctly, I'm facing issues with the 5Ghz band and wonder if this is sigh of some kind of failure:
- while my iPad offered both signals and let me set the 5 Ghz band, it is showing weak signal and stall on loading webpages; as soon as I instead put it on the 2.4Ghz band, (standing at same location of course), everything runs smoothly, excellent signal.
- I have a Mac Mini and PS3 side by side same location. The Mac Mini seems to works flawlessly under both bands, 2.4 or 5 - excellent signal. However, the PS3 fails its connexion test and states that signal is not perceptible on the 5Ghz. But connect as a snap on the 2.4 Ghz band.
- Got on and off 5Ghz signal on a laptop; connected to 2.4Ghz, everything runs perfect.
- iPhones 4S : I don't even see the 5Ghz SSID, but I get both the 2.4 and Guess account..So I'm tempted to conclude that some devices just can't follow the pace (??) to connect on 5Ghz..
I've been using a WRT160N for a couple of years now with no problems with any of my devices. I have a couple of certain devices (a DS and a PSP mainly) that utilize 802.11b and have been working perfectly up until now.
All of a sudden it seems like the router has decided all by itself to no longer allow 802.11b devices to connect to it, despite it being configured in mixed mode. (b/g/N) I've tried tinkering around with it, switching between Mixed and BG-Mixed, changing the channel to something more common and restarting the router, but I can't connect at all on these devices.Model: Cisco Linksys WRT160N v3.Firmware version: 3.0.03.
I just installed a WRT320N for someone's home network, with the intent of providing better speed for network printing.
Unfortunately, all four of his n-capable Windows computers will only connect at 54mbps. Four different computers (Win7, Vista, XP), each with a different brand/model of n-capable network adapter.
I suppose I could try setting the wireless to n-only instead of "mixed". However, he's got a couple g-only devices as well, so that wouldn't work.
I tried updating the firmware to latest/greatest - no effect.

I want to add more users to my home network and I couldn't, at this moment I only can connect 8 devices (12 devices at least) when I try to connect the next one its impossible, but if I take off one of the connected devices then the router allows to connect the new one.How can I connect more than 8 devices to my router ? (wireless)Also, is there any limits with Wireless MAC Address Filter ? because I can't add more than 8 MAC addresses in my old router I could do that.
