View 1 RepliesMy laptop is connected to a router via wifi but it keeps getting a DNS fault. I have another PC linked to the same router via WiFi and that works perfectly all the time. I have the same problem on both google chrome and IE browsers where I just get the message telling me that the DNS look up failed. My internet is still connected as I can dial into my remote CCTV cameras and I can ping website ip addresses. Most times I can just turn off my wireless adapter and turn it back on and it works for another hour or so. But sometimes it wont work all day, unless I start my laptop in safe mode, when it works everytime! I have flushed the DNS cache several times but to no avail.

Here 99.xxx.xxx.107 is Our ASA Outside IP address 203.xxx.xxx.226 is Hosted server IP address. My ASA config is attached.
I have just upgraded one of our 4400 to 7.0.98.0. Most of the AP re-registered with out issues. I have two AIR-LAP1142N-E-K9 on a remote site that will not re-register.I have pointed them to another 2125 WLC (7.0.98.0) and they register fine. Question 1 if I do a "clear config except static IP" will I still be able to telnet tp them or will they default to no telnet no ssh ?
Question 2 any idea how to get past this DTLS error ?
I have been trying to connect to the Internet via a wireless connection but keep receiving the above error. None of the Windows solutions resolve the problem. On Google Chrome I see a screen saying 'This web page is not available', and receive 'Error 105: Unable to resolve the server's DNS address'. I cannot access Internet Explorer either.The strange this is that this problem only seems to occur with some wireless networks, as I can connect fine at home. In certain places, however, I am told that I am connected but that accss is 'Local Only', and I cannot open any browsers. I need the problem resolved as soon as possible as I cannot access the internet where I need it most.

One technician said that this is the providers problem, but I don't think so. When I restart the modem everything works.I have a Netgear WGR614 v9 router.I use ESET 5 security. Btw, connection drops on all computers connected through the router, so it's not my firewall.
I am trying to implement a small VoIP LAN (you can see the lan in attachments)for a personal project. I am using:
- 2 x XP (on which i installed Cisco IP Communicator 7.0.3.0)
- 1 x Ubuntu (running GNS3 with a c3600 Router)
The problem is that the phone which is not in the same LAN with the tftp server cannot register.
1) Can a phone register to a tftp server from another LAN ?
2) If the answer for 1) is yes, what am i doing wrong (you can see the details in the attachments)? I mention that the ping works well anywhere in the LAN.
There is one router ( SWR54BGA ), wan interface functional ( connected as a dhcp client to the lan interface of another router , packets are forwarded). When i connect the wan interface to the isp line, and provide the pppoe login details ,it won't work. When i try to connect manually to the pppoe server from the wan configuration page, after about 30 sec i get the connection failed message.Is the firmware corrupt, should i go the ddwrt route?
View 2 Replies View Related I have installed 2 ACS 5.2 appliances, the two appear as Primary. When I try to register one of them with the other one using "System Administrator -> Local Operation -> Deployment Operations" I get the following message:
This System Failure occurred: Unable to authenticate with node.. Your changes have not been saved.Click OK to return to the list page.
I have tried with both "ACSAdmin" and "admin" users with their respective passwords.
Today I ran a failover test between our primary and secondary ACS systems (ran 'acs stop' on the primary) and in the process decided to promote the secondary while I had the primary down. All was fine until I brought the primary back up and tried to re-register the secondary to it. I get the following error message: I went into System Administration >Operations >Distributed System Management on each and it showed the other device as deregestered, tried to promote from there but it failed too, so I deleted them and tried to register the secondary again. After that didn't work I tried rebooting both but that didn't work either. I know the user/pass I'm using is good and I've tried using both the IP address and the hostname.

I have to sites connected togather using 4 MBps Link over the tunnel terminated on asa 5510,the call manager in site 1 and the other users on the site 2 unable to register with call mamager on site while i have a suceesull ping goes from site 2 to site 1 (call manager ip) so why this phone its not registered ,so in term of network no problems coz the ping gets through and am rely on ping to confirm that no network problem

i'm stuck at registering inline posture node to primary node. I doing fresh install both ISE appliance using version 1.1.1, patched all 3 available patach version after install. AD and DNS were perfectly configure, ping using hostname able to resolve Everything set, so both PSN and iPEP generate CSR and ready to let CA server to signed. But anyway this is the outcome i get Error message "Unable to authenticate. please check server and CA certificate."
01. - What certificate template to be use primary node and inline posture node? I having problem the CA certsrv won't show computer template for inline posture node. can i use web server template and on the extension include client autthenticaiton andserver authentication on this case?

02. According to Cisco ISE user guide 1.1.1, it mentioned "Creating certificate trust list in Primary ISE Node"
So first action is importing Root and CA certificate . my rootCA.cer import to certification operation certifcate store, while CSR generated then Bind CA certificate. question, should i check anything like "Tust for client authentication" checkbox or any other option to be check? How about Inline Posture node, should i export the CA certificate and import to primary node's certificate store?
I am having problems with my RV042.I have a Intervoip(url...) account for VOIP.
When I try to register the intervoip account to the internet I don't get any kind of reply. My VOIP server just keeps requesting to register the SIP account, but gets no reply.
When I connect an other router to my ISP modem, the register just goes fine. However the RV042 blocks something I don't really know what the cause could be.I installed wireshark to monitor my network traffic.
When I monitor registering with intervoip with the RV042, I see requests but no replies from intervoip, the VOIP server keeps requesting, but doesn't get any reply.
When I monitor registering with intervoip with an other router, I see requests from the VOIP server, and replies from intervoip initiating my intervoip account and everything goes well and registers. The following I tried:
- Forwarding port 5060 to private ip
- Putting private ip in DMZ
- Disabled the firewall
All without result. (Also tried them all at once)
i'm currently studying at a college which has a website with a student intranet that is available to log in from any computer. So far it has been working well and I can log in on my home laptop and upload documents and look at presentations etc. Today for no reason when I try and log in I get the message Error Code 500: Internal Server Error and the webpage does no appear.I have had no problems previously and this has only happened today and yesterday, I went down to the college and accessed the website fine from the computers in the library but still no joy from my home computer.

Problem is that my xbox does not have built in wifi and even with a wifi adapter hotel internet portals prevent from connecting automatically to internet without a browser. I have watched some video on youtube with different methods of using a laptop to connect via ethernet to your xbox and share the internet connection from the laptop. Is there a method that works with Vista? I keep getting a unable to get an ip address error on the xbox and not sure as to what to do.

So I'm having issues with connecting to the internet. I'm connected to the network but cannot browse the internet or play online games. Currently I'm on my housemates laptop. None of my house mates are having issues. My computer is a laptop and connects to the internet wirelessly. I don't have a cable to try connecting straight to the router unfortunately.
Last night my internet provider (Time Warner) did an update that caused all their networks to change their names/passwords. My house mate got the new name and password and when I used it it worked fine for several hours. While in the middle of a game, my internet and my housemates internet stopped working for no reason. Theirs are fine now, mine is still having issues.
I have reset the router, restarted my computer, and looked into some DNS stuff. I've done the commands ipconfig /flushdns along with ipconfig /release then ipconfig /renew. I also changed my preferred DNS server to 8.8.8.8 for my Internet Protocol (TCP/IPv4) and that did not work. (edit: also tried 208.67.222.222 & 208.67.220.220. No luck there either)
I've tried turning off my firewalls and connecting but that doesn't work.
my laptop sometimes gives a 500 internal server error when I try to go to any website. our other wireless devices such as our phones don't do this while the laptop is.

When I create a report to ccheck on sys logs the report returns all sys log whether they are repetitive or not. Is there a way to have a same sys log error come back with a number of ocurences?

But if I give them 5 or 10 minutes they will come. Imkmow that this isn't a normal up issue with sites servers actually being down. I thought it was a Google chrome issue, but it's been happening on safari. It hasn't started till we switched our Internet plan to 3mbps and a new router.

It works fine with an ethernet cable. I have a WII that uses the router also and I can watch a Netflix movie on it so the router seems to be working. View 14 Replies View RelatedA few days Ago we finally got our 24Mbps DSL package and so far it keeps disconnecting every 30 mins (sometimes more, sometimes less). The thing is I'm living in some village in Ukraine so there's only one ISP I can choose from and the phone lines here are a piece of crap (I can hear the static, but I can't do anything about it.) Calling the phone company is out of the question as no one here would even think about improving our phone lines (trust me, this place is FAIL). Also, My ISP is bsing me into believing that I'll get 24mbits on some crappy copper wired phone line that makes noise every time you try to use the phone. I'm using a 5 port switch to connect 2 computers to the internet through some so-so modem. The ethernet cables are not cat5 quality either and the phone cable is just some average RJ11 type deal. Now I know the true meaning behind "up to 24mbps downstream and 3 mbps upstream!" which is actually means "10.5mbps down and 0.3mbps up (at max)". Yes, I live more than 2km from the providers. [code]
View 14 Replies View RelatedSo I was having trouble loading a game on my computer and I was scrolling through forums looking for an answer and one answer that supposively worked for a lot of people was to unisntall and reinstall my network card.IT told me to go to devices -> right click network adapter -> uninstall -> then scan for hardwarer changes to reinstall When I clicked uninstall an error message popped up and said "Unable to uninstall device because device is required on startup" and then it apparently just uninstalled it anyway and it showed back up after I clicked "scan for hardware changes".Now ever since, everytime I try and connect to the internet my computer says "Limited or no connectivity" and I'm unable to access the internet on that computer, the computer I am on now can connect just fine, so it must have something to do with the network card that i supposively unisntalled.
