I have to do ipconfig /flushdns from my Laptop to access my PC, on my local network, for some reason when the Laptop is booted up.After that all works like it should. I made a batch file to do that command during Windows start up. Is there any reason why I have to do this or is it just something quirky with Windows?Both computers have Windows 7 Pro 64 bit. Both use the same DNS servers.

Either using a hyperlink to open a new web page or returning to a tab will yield this error. Refreshing the page will render the page properly.The two cures I have found that look to be the most promising are to run ipconfig /flushdns from the command prompt and to clear the prefetch cache.

I have not been able to get onto the internet in about 2 days now. I know my modem (2wire) is working correctly, I spent 2 hours checking it thoroughly with my internet provider. I have checked various websites and have flushed my DNS, brought back my computer to it's original manufactured settings, I even deleted and re-installed the network device but still I am only able to access my local network. I'm wondering if there are any other suggestions for fixing my computer

Discovery got a little messed up when importing from LMS 3.1
Basically I want to flush all devices from all the different LMS modules. If I delete all devices from Device Management they seem to stay in Topology Services / Device Discovery / Data Collection etc.. They keeps the old device in their own database.
Is there a way of flushing all devices from all these different modules. I'm going to re-import them with a clean CSV import file.

I ran the cmd to clear the dns cache, but that didn't solve the issue. I tried stopping and restarting the client, that didn't work. It was already set to automatic. I am logged in to my laptop as an administrator. I tried to be the user Administrator, but it doesn't appear as a choice, but when I try to change my name, I get the message it is already in use. On my 1841 when i enter the "ip flow-cache timeout active 2" command it accepts this command with no errors. But when i look at my running-config this does not list.I did the same thing on my 2811's and 3745 and it shows up in the running-config. Should I assume if it doesnt' show up in my config file than it is not applied? How can I verify that it is or isn't?

I have a 510a Cache engine and the IDE hard drive failed. I installed a new blank hard drive, but I can't get it to boot off of the new hard drive. Currently, I moved the original to Disk 1. I switched the boot up disk to disk 1. I was then able to setup the new hard drive (in disk 0). Everything is functioning, but I don't want to keep the dead hard drive in there. How do I setup a boot sector on the new hard drive?

We have a 3750x switch with some issues on the arp. Our servers become unreachable for some time, buy when I clear the arp cache, I am able to ping the server again. I have tried adjusting the arp timeout but I don't think doing so would be the permanent solution.

After a period of time the entire house goes off line. I have to reboot the power on e2000 router and then disable the access restrictions. System then works. Problem is repeatable. What is the deal. I have updated firmware already. Otherwise the system works great. Never dies. Just when i set access restricions for a SPECIFIC time it kills entiore houese. BTW i can deny him outright 24/7 and the system idsables his access fine. Its just when i set specific times
