Linksys Access Point :: Download WAP610N Firmware Version 01.0.00 Build 832?
Dec 21, 2011Is there anywhere I can download WAP610N Firmware Version 01.0.00 build 832? I have two units with this firmware version that work OK. I recently purchased another unit that has WAP610N Firmware Versions 1.0.01 and and can only access an IP address if I do not use any security. I also spent a lot of time on the phone with Linksys support to no avail.

Apr 30, 2012I just tried to upgrade the firmware of my WAP54G to the most recent version; however, I got a message on web browser with legend "Update fail" and then I lost the communication with device. Now, I just goty Power and Link LED's, but nothing on Act (green led, indicator of WiFi),I tried to reset using button, and to connect via LAN, but setup wizard is unable to locate the device.

Nov 22, 2011I saw a reference to release notes for firmware 1.1.0.9 (I think that was the number) for the RV110W but if I browse the firmware download page I only see 1.0.1.6 available for download. Is this available somewhere or am I confused and saw a reference to something else?
I have an installed RV110W at a client site that has to be rebooted about once a week since it stops allowing inbound access to mapped ports. For example, it stops forwarding connections on Port 25 to the client's e-mail server. I thought for a while there was a software issue with the e-mail server but after days of eliminating all other likely issues I rebooted the router and everything was fine. Now the problem recurs about once a week and rebooting the router always fixes it (this is week 3). Forwarding to ports 80, 443, and several others also stop working.

Aug 29, 2012I have a problem with my WRT54G V8 router.I download a wrong Firmware and upgrade it.After this my router never work again.The PC can't get IP from the router.I tried a lot of time to access to the web admin 192.168.1.1 and other IP and nothing happen.I made a lot of reset cycles, with the procedures 30/30/30 or other with the reset button in combination with the power cord.
Exist any other possibility to recover my router.Can I open and touch other button inside the board or something like this?

Aug 29, 2009I just bought an LG Bluray DVD player (BD390) which is unable to find the access point in my home network.My router is a WRT54G, ver. 2.2, running firmware: Ver.4.21.1. My home network uses high speed cable with two computers on the wireless network, all working with no problems.The router is on the second floor but the two computers and the new BD390 are on the first floor - about 35 feet away. I have the wirelss security set to none and use only the specific computer MAC addresses to allow connection to this network.
I found directions in the forum for a setup using the LG BD390 but with a different Linksys router. I changed the security to WPA (AES); the Beacon interval from 100 to 75; the Fragmentation Threshold from 2346 to 2304; and the RTS Threshold from 2347 to 2307. The DVD wireless connection still failed to find my network. There is a "Push button" connection feature on the BD390 setup which I tried, but the only "button" on the router I could find was in the basic wireless setting, a green icon for the wireless SSID setup. No connection was made there either.
The recommendation connection from the LG manual is for a network cable, but that would be over 50 feet and a real pain to connect, so I would prefer WiFi.

Aug 30, 2007My question is regarding gaining access to my Linksys wireless router configuration page. I recently turned my Linksys WRT54GL wireless router into an access point and since I have done so I am no longer able to access the configuration page for my router.
The problem that I am encountering is not one of connectivity, but rather entry. Prior to turning my wireless router into an access point I was able to connect to the router by means of my browser (192.168.1.1). I am still able to connect to the router, but whenever I type in a user name and password the router just simply does not recognize the information. I have tried resetting the router multiple times, but I am still denied access to my router despite having the correct user name and password. I have version 1.1 of the Linksys WRT54GL wireless router and have the latest firmware.

Jan 19, 2011My 1 day old WAG160N doesn't seem to want to work after upgrading the firmware. Its the V2 Annex A so I made sure I had the right file, followed the instructions on the site and all went fine, router updated and rebooted. After the reboot I held the reset button for the 30 seconds as suggested, plugged in the ethernet to my laptop and popped in the CD to set it up again.Going through the setup it got to the point of detecting the router and could not find it, checked the lights on the router and the only one lit is the ethernet that the laptop was plugged into, none of the others were. I switched off the router and turned it back on, the power light and the ethernet lights all lit up, then the power light went red and a few seconds later went off. Ethernet light was still on.

But when I try to use the wireless access point in my mobile phone / laptop,the device is not able to find the WiFi access point. I need to swith off the modem and start it again, then the devices are finding the access point. I guess this has to do with some amount of inactivity and the modem switces off the wireless access point. I there anyway by which I can turn off that setting ? Dec 27, 2011I upgraded my router from version 1.2 to 1.35NA, through the Tools / Systems page on the router (uploaded the bin file). I am connected to the router via a wired connection.
During the upgrade, the message said I wouldn't be able to access the webpage until 75 secs. I watched it count down the seconds and then when it refreshed, I could not get to my routers page: 192.168.1.2
The DLink Router is connected as a pass through router to my FIOS router, so that I can use the wired ports and I use the DLink as my wireless router (fios router wireless strength was poor).
All the lights on the router are working as though everything is ok. I am still connected to the Internet, so it appears that the pass through of my wired ports is still working after the firmware upgrade, but wireless is not. Not surprising. I expect I may have to upload my settings (which I did save), but since I cannot get to the routers page, I feel a bit stuck.
two more bits of into. I also tried getting to 192.168.0.1, which might be the default? and I cannot get there either. My Fios router is on 192.168.1.1 (and as mentioned, the DLink should be at 192.168.1.2). Fios Router reports that the 192.168.1.2 port is inactive.
Cisco WAN :: Can't Access Point Admin Page (WAP4410n)
Feb 26, 2012I'm having trouble setting up my WAP 4410n. I can connect to it wirelessly, I can ping it, but somehow when I try to connect to the admin intervace (in my case 192.168.1.36) I get the following error message:
"The connection was reset. The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading"
My I shut down my firewall, restarted my router, removed cookies and cleaned cache, but that's as far as my knowledge goes.
