ISP : Three mobile data sim
Possible to use a mobile via the usb connection on a TL-MR3020. The reason being is that my mobile data plan allows unlimited tethering through my phone...yet when I place the sim from the phone in the usb modem I get blocked by the provider stating that the sim can only be used in a mobile phone. Mobile data plans in the UK are very expensive and you get very little for your money.
is there any dell wwan card that is 4G capable and integrable in a latitude E6400 laptop like a wwan 5530 card?
Or the only way to get 4G for E6400 is a USB 4G stick?
Basically the internet connection on my PC will freeze when my mobile phone (HTC Desire) connected to the same network via WIFI is near the pC. If I remove the phone into another room the connection un freezes. If I switch the connection on the phone to the mobile network the problem never arises!
View 4 Replies View RelatedI have an HP 8710 Workstation laptop running WindowsXP that just recently starting having problems maintaining an internet connection with my ATT Elevate mobile hotspot. My internet connection will work for 1-2 minutes and then end up timing out. I then have to disconnect and then reconnect to the wireless network to get connectivity. I was using was my laptop's built-in wifi card (Intel Wireless WiFi Link 4965AGN) when this was occurring, then switched to a wifi adapter (Linksys AE1000) and still the problem persists. I contacted ATT and they checked the cell towers, nothing is wrong and everything seems to be working. I've tried upgrading all the drivers, still no success.

I receive this WIFI internet connection on my laptops using their respective WIFI adapters, and on my desktop using a GASKY GS-28USB Wireless USB Adapter, and use this internet connection simultaneously in both desktops and laptops. Now, I am shifing to a new 3G USB Mobile Broadband service:
Where I can directly connect the 3G USB Mobile Broadband Stick to my desktop or my laptop and use the internet directly, but not all at once through my router as was previously configured. Is there a way using the existing hardware, can I configure my desktop to share this internet connection and broadcast from the GASKY GS-28USB Wireless Lan Card to the Seimens Gigaset SE568 router and then throughout my house for simultaneous access, or directly share the internet through the GASKY adapter itself, or is there some other configuration I can use ?My Desktop has Windows 7 installed as an operating system.
I need to change providers from Verizon to AT&T. This modem came with the AT&T Sim card installed in my notebook. The software (Dell Mobile Broadband Utility Help) says " Choose Network Selection from the Settings Menu. Select AT&T and click Load." Unfortunately, Network selection is not an option.
How do I do it? This modem is compatible with Verizon, AT&T and Sprint networks.

View 2 Replies View RelatedThe main computer received a virus and I had to reinstall the operating system. When I did, however, all settings disappeared. The lights on the modem and router are fine, and the secondary computer has full access to the Internet. I also can use my Wii with the Internet. I tried setting up the router again but the main computer won't load the web-based configuration utility page. The secondary computer, however, can. I tried plugging the modem directly into the computer but the computer didn't seem to recognize it either. I bought a new router, thinking if I got software it would automatically set everything. However, the router I received came with zero software. I plugged it in and the computer still couldn't connect to the config page. I am at a loss as what else to do here.
My old router is a Motorola WR850G and my new one is a Netgear WR614 v9. Either would be fine to use, as long as I can get both computers to connect. The host computer has XP and the secondary Vista.
So I've had this problem ever since I bought my computer. The only wireless connection that I am able to connect to, is the one in my home. If i travel anywhere else, my laptop refuses to let me connect. The thing is, my laptop sees the connections, but when I click "connect", the box closes and nothing happens. The laptop seems as though it doesn't even try to connect to the network. Everything remains the same, yet when I come to my house, it connects automatically. Now if I click "Add" on the network config. it won't even let me add a network to my computer or anything. I click the "Add" button and nothing happens. I am running a Windows XP.

I have another computer plugged into my netgear box and it works perfectly fine. I checked and made sure everything was plugged in right and restarted my netgear thing but it did not work. There is no packets coming in or out of it connection but it recognizes that I at least have something plugged in.

View 6 Replies View Relatednyway, I've had an internet connection set up at my house for quite some time, and recently I have noticed that my online games have begun to lag. And I know it is not due to my hardware, it is online-lag, like jumping, and almost teleporting to places. I play games like Battlefield 2, Battlefield 2142, Battlefield 2: Project Reality, and more.I have a 10mbps download and 1mbps upload, so that is an optimum speed for playing games like this, I know. And the connection is split between 3 computers in my home. (1 desktop and 2 laptops, all connecting wirelessely)I have all the modem, and router set up properly.. I just don't understand why I am having this lagging problem. If someone could explain it to me,

View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm currently using a Lenovo V360 and my issue is that my computer, which connects via wi-fi, disconnects from the network randomly. The network will be completely removed from the list of available networks. The other networks available will still be visible. I tried turning off the wi-fi button on my laptop and turning it back on, but the list of available networks still does not include the network I was recently connected to. The only way to see the network on my Lenovo is to restart the computer. The connection works perfectly after I restart. It is definitely not the network's problem because I am still connected to the same network with my other laptop. If necessary, my laptop runs Windows 7, my router is a D-Link, and the encryption is WPA.
View 5 Replies View RelatedWe currently have 1 PC and my laptop connected to the internet with 0 hassle. My father brought in his work computer last night and asked me if I could set it up. Only problem is I cannot for the life of me have it connect to the internet.
He has a PC with Win7, and when I search for a network it says there's no connections available. The PC is inches away from the modem. Also, our other two computers had no problem picking out the connection after a quick scan.
I started to lose hope when I ran an ethernet cable into the PC to see if I could get it to recognize the connection.
No luck. This is not a brand new computer, it's his work computer that before the move was operating just fine.
