View 1 RepliesOn my Toshiba A105, the wireless adapter (Intel PRO/Wireless 3945ABG) is disabled. When I ask it to be Enabled, it goes through the motions but then immediately disables it again.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI have a Toshiba A350 satellite notebook. The wireless adapter was working fine, then I installed Windows 7. Now the adapter wont turn on. I've searched forums, and followed several threads to no avail. The wireless switch is on, but there is no LED. Fn+F8 does nothing. I have restarted and reset the BIOS to defaults.I have disabled Internet protocol 6.All of these have made no difference. I can access the internet via a fixed connection, but cannot get the wireless adapter to respond.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI am using Toshiba Satellite L305D-S5895, with Windows 7 Home Premium. My laptop has been running beautifully since I updated from Windows Vista to Windows 7 Home Premium in Fall 2009. However, today the laptop has not been connecting to the wi-fi. It could not read the Atheros wireless card built into the laptop, and the all the network settings showed was the Ethernet adapter (realtek). I tried restarting and shutting down the laptop but it still did not read the wireless card (though the wireless light on the laptop was on, indicating that the wireless is on).
Then, after 4 hours of leaving the laptop shut down, the wireless started again. However, a half hour later it was down again, with the same problems already stated. The light was on and the card was not read. During my time online, I did manage to download the driver update from Toshiba website (Atheros Wireless LAN Driver for Windows 7 (32/64). I tried to install it but I received error messages, including: I tried again but I still received this message, but with a different file: I have no Ethernet connectivity and I need to use the wi-fi.
my wireless connection has stopped working and won't repair itself.I have uninstalled it and rebooted my laptop (as suggested in a previous thread) but it's still not working. I have a Toshiba Satallite Pro L300 laptop.I went to the Toshiba site to find a download for the wireless adaptor but couldn't even find my model number on their system. I can get on the internet by plugging directly to the modem, and my internet provider suggests it must be the adaptor. I'm too scared to randomly download stuff from internet in case it is rubbish and mucks up my computer.
View 13 Replies View Relatedhaving a problem with my Linksys wireless adapter: the light will flash a few times when I plug it in, then it will turn off. It won't let me connect to the internet or my printer. It's not the port: it is recognized when I put it in any other port, but it still won't connect. I think it's a virus, but my antivirus software isn't showing anything when I run a full scan (I use Malwarebytes Free). I'm gonna put AVG on a flash drive from another computer and try to use that later today, but right now I've been thinking that I might have to back everything up and reinstall windows.
-Windows Vista- Home Premium
-Linksys Wireless USB Network Adapter (I think it's WUSB600N, not sure though)
-Malwarebytes Free Anti-virus
-Netgear Router (I think it's WGR614L)

View 19 Replies View RelatedHow do I find my network security key? I had to remove my Toshiba Laptop (Win 7 OS) from my home network because I kept having to troubleshoot in order to connect to the network. Then the troubleshooter would tell me that I had a cable unplugged (not true) and it had to reconfigure my wireless adapter every time. I am trying to get the laptop back in the network but I keep getting the message that the security key is mismatched. The one I have worked the first time, but not now.My wireless adapter for the laptop is Realtek RTL8191SE Wireless LAN 802.11n PCI-E NIC and when I check its properties the message is that this device is working properly.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI'm running Win 7, 64 bit on a Toshiba X505.My internal card no longer sees any networks (Realtek RTL8191se) even though DevMgr says it's running with current drivers which I've updated.I bought and installed a USB wireless dongle with the same results. My Ethernet connection works fine.IPCONFIG doesn't seem to recognize the card.I have a good strong signal and the Trendnet dongle works well on another machine.

I tried to get on the internet in an airplane and I couldn't connect. All of these wireless connections are working fine and no other computer seems to have the same issue. whenever i try to connect to a network in range or my home network, it says that i only have limited connectvity. I have tried posted resetting commands in the comand prompt and then rebooting but it still says I am in limited connectivity.

View 9 Replies View Relatedi have a home network my dell netbook and dell xps desktop are connected to it, both are able to connect to the internet, my toshiba satellite for some reason won't connect. i think the wifi radio isn't working because there is an icon on the front of the lapptop with a picture of a wifi transmitter, and the amber light is lit for that. my router won't recognize it and neither will the other computers. it was working just fine to connect to the internet before i set the network up with the other two computers. the toshiba is the only one that has windows 7 btw, the others one has vista and one has xp. don't know if this has anything to do with it, but im stumped. i trtied to do it manually, but the router keeps saying the mac address is invalid, i get that from ip config.

All other computers, tablets, cell phones in the house can connect with no problem. When I tried to connect to the internet with an ethernet cable, it worked just fine.I'm not sure if this is related but this happened at about the same time as my roommate got an Xbox and started using it. View 1 Replies View RelatedI have 2 laptop, a Toshiba and a MSi, both wirelessly connected to a Zyxel router. The toshiba laptop worked just fine for me, never disconnect, but the MSi started to act up since I got this router. Sometimes it disconnect from the router every 5 mins, it can still detect the network, but then I have to troubleshoot it to reset the adapter if I want to reconnect it. The problem I got from the troubleshoot is " Problems with adapter or access point". Before I bought this router for the current cable service, I had a DSL service, my laptops can connect wirelessly to the DSL modem, without router and they worked just fine, so I don't know if the problem is from the router or the laptop.I searched for solutions everywhere on the internet, yet they are the same : update firmware, drivers,.I even reinstalled windows so many times yet it remains the same.
