No Longer Able To Connect To Internet At Work From Laptop?

I have been using the same Toshiba A105 for the past three years at work. Recently I had to reinstall XP and since then have not been able to connect to my works wireless/wired internet most of the time. I have no trouble connecting to my wireless at home or basically anywhere else except work. Once in a rare while it will connect to work but if it's wireless it's low connectivity and if it's wired it's prone to just drop out again randomly. Everyone else at work is able to connect wirelessly/wired without issue. I've tried static IP and changing my MAC addressThere are some unsecured wireless networks in range that I can connect to but don't want to for work transactions.
The other day, I shut down my laptop and when I turned it back on, it would not connect to the internet. It continuously says limited connectivity and unidentified network. my info is listed below

I installed virtual pc 2007 that has winXP and my host is Windows vista. I was able to make my virtual pc to connect to host internet using NAT for adapter 1 long time ago without any problems but it is not working anymore since last month! Although it works when I try it on another host. I believe the problem is in my host so what to check excatly in my host.
My laptop all of a sudden can't connect to my wireless internet connection and also seem unable to find any other wireless network but mine.I recently moved to a new flat, but brought my old modem/router with me (Scientific Atlanta 2434) and use the same ISP. Last week everything worked as a charm, but at the new location my laptop won't connect to my network, though I can connect to it through my mobile phone. My laptop only seem to find my own network ("Fidel") but with my mobile I can pick up 10-15 different networks from my flat. Connecting my laptop to the modem with a cable works all good. I tried to remove "Fidel" from my networks and added it again, typing wrong password gives a message saying "wrong network key" so my laptop and the modem seem to shake hands at least. Yesterday when trying I actually got connected, but the connection died after a few minutes and I wasn't able to connect again.Windows device manager display no errors nor conflicts around the ethernet controller or network adapter. Have tried to update the drivers through the device manager as well but it says they are up to date.Windows version is Windows 7 Home Premium.Don't know if my ISP uploaded new firmware to my modem when I connected it in my new flat, but on the other hand I can't see why this would affect my laptop's ability to pick up other networks in my house? My Dell Inspiron 1545 won't connect to my router without an ethernet cord. i used to have no problem doing it, but now my computer refuses to connect wirelessly.
One of my laptops (Acer Aspire 5741) won't connect to the internet, it stopped connecting last night at around 9pm UK time. It shows an ! in a triangle over my Internet Access bars. When I troubleshoot the message is 'Your broadband modem is experiencing connectivity issues'. My Compaq mini netbook is not experiencing any problems though. I have tried resetting the router, removing and readding the home network and checking the security key is correct -I do also have a VPN from my university which has been installed since April without any problems. Both the laptop and notebook use windows 7 and Firefox.
I have an Inspiron 1721 laptop and can no longer acces the internet unless I attach the ethernet cable from my wireless modem. In other words, I can no longer access the wireless internet from my laptop. I have talked with my internet service provider and the say the problem is the settings with the laptop itself because I can access the internet from my tablet computer.
I have wonder that my laptop has wireless, and when i connect it to router to use internet it show wireless now is connect, but when i open the website it show not work..and this problem occur only my computer. and when the other computer laptop they can connect and use internet normal...
i can no longer connect to the internet and i have tried everything i could think of. my "wireless network connection status says 0 packets sent and 0 recieved,but im connected to my router with excellent signal. when i got this laptop it had alot of malware, i removed 283entries with malwarebytes in safemode. after i did that i couldnt connect to the internet.
My compaq presario F750us stopped connecting to the internet both wired and wireless. It no longer recognizes its Artheros Ar 5700 wireless adapter. The ethernet connection is restricted to local access only. The notebook runs Windows Vista Home Premium. I have followed all diagnostic and repair steps as per Vista's instructions. Two other computers remain connected. The router is Linksys Wrt 54 G2 V1.
I upgraded the firmware on my BEFS41 v4.3 to the Ver.2.00.4 Build 8, off the cisco website. After I received the successfully upgraded message, I could no longer connect to the internet, nor could I connect to the router's configuration page. I tried to do a few hard resets and connecting it to other computers to see any other computers could connect to it, no luck. I tried connecting one computer just to the router, without the internet plugged in, and tried to ping 192.168.1.1 but I received a "transmit failed, error code 1231." Is there anyway I can access this and change the firmware, or am I screwed?

my computer works fine and i can go online. i use wire for my computer and try the same wire to my laptop but not working. i tries another cable throught the router but still nothing.
I found that if the WAG320N remain "on" during the night the day after will no longer work. It need to stay "off" for one day and than is starting to work again till another working's night! Why?
I bought a Linksys E1000 wireless router a year or so back. it was loaded onto a computer that no longer works. i have the router and the box but no disc or manual. My laptop and ipad are working fine with the router but i can't get my iphone hooked up and dont think i have the correct password. I dont have any software on my laptop to even figure it out. What can i do to get my phone to use the router?
I have a motorola usb modem which is connected to my laptop and i have shared the connection and have an ethernet cable from laptop to wireless modem (TP-LINK) such that other wifi enabled devices can connect to it.Now we have electricity blackouts and when that happens my wireless router gets turned off. Internet on the laptop is working fine, now when the electricity comes back and the wireless router is on, the net does not work on the other wifi devices and only my laptop (as its directly connected to the modem).I have to reboot my laptop for the shared connection to work.

Last night I was just online in my dorm using wired internet like I always do and it suddenly just stopped working. It hasn't been working since and it won't connect to anything. However my wifi internet works just fine but I'd like to use wired again for faster speed. I run windows 7 on an Acer laptop.
I'm trying to fix the network at a student housing building and the system is kind of a mess. We bought a new E4200 to replace our old Linksys router which no one knows the admin pw to. We have four switches for 50 connections throughout the four story house and when switching the connections over to the new E4200 all of the wired connections no longer work. Switch back to the old router and presto. How do I need to change the settings with the E4200 to get it to work?
Also, as it's a thick old house the E4200's wireless only covers maybe half of it...I purchased two wireless repeaters to put on the 3rd and 4th floors, are these simple to install with the router?
We have been using a dhcp and tftp server to automatically configure branch WAN routers such as 1751's and 1841's for years but, have recently purchased a 1921 and 1941 as possible next generation replacements. The problem is when the 1900 series power up instead of getting a dhcp address directions to the tftp server it boots up and asks for the user name to be immediately changed or you will be "locked out". Any workaround to this so that I can again go back to download my common configuration? Or any other way of automatically configuring the newer version ios? Doing extra steps for 500 WAN branch routers is time consuming. Doing configurations without automation for that many is moving in the wrong direction.
A couple weeks ago my HP laptop stopped working. It would not boot and I had to put in the recovery discs to get it working again. Before this the laptop had connected fine to my home wifi secured with WPA2-PSK[AES]. After this problem tho it refuses to connect while it is secured. When not secure it functions fine and I am currently using it to type this post. I would have no problem continuing to use the wifi unsecured but another member of my household works with confidential medical information from home and is worried about the lack of security. I have attempted the trouble shooting tips on the support website already. My computer model is HP G60-235DX and the router is a Netgear N300 model WNR2000v3[CODE]
My laptop's keyboard just dead and I can't no longer activate it wifi.My laptop is Toshiba and it usually use fn+f8 key to activate, but since my keyboard got broken yesterday,I don't really know how to activate it.
I have wireless internet at home through a Belkin router.It used to work fine but one computer wouldnt connect. I tried checking the security password on my laptop and ever since it won't connect. (However, now the other computer does!) It picks up the signal from the router but just won't connect. When I run ipconfig I get a message saying Media Disconnected. When starting my laptop it no longer connects to the preferred network. It has been trying to connect to my neighbors unsecured network. I have tried the netsh settings but it searches for another network and will not connect to the one it is supposed to unless I force it to.
I was recently given a computer from my workplace. I took this computer home, and put it in the place of my old one. The internet connection on my old computer has always been fine; all cables are connected correctly. However, this computer from work will not connect to the internet. The icon in the bottom right corner of the screen states that I am connected, but the internet browser claims that it is unable to display web pages. May the cause of this be related to any unique computer settings that a workplace may have on a computer in their network? Other computers have no problem connecting to the internet through the same, wired connection. The OS is Windows XP Professional.
For some reason, I can't connect my laptop to the internet. When I enable wireless connection it starts but there is an "x" over the icon and it never connects. When I go to view available wireless connections the window is empty. No wireless signals even though my desktop is connected and it shows at least 10 network signals in range. I also tried connecting through my LAN and although the icon shows it is connected,

i cannot connect to the internet from my laptop...the internet is connected because i have downloaded a windows update, but everytime i open a page it says that internet explorer cannot display the webpage...when i diagnose the problem, it says that www.google.com is not set up to establish a connection on port world wide web service (http) with this computer and it has a place where i can click verify the current proxy server configuration.
I replaced a drive and installed an older version of xp (husband request). I can't connect to internet, wireless or wired. I saw a post that solved the problem, I seem to be missing drivers (other devices all have yellow ?). But I do not know where to locate the drivers. The computer is a ibm t43 laptop about 6 years old. I can't find any disks that came with it.
