I have a PS3 and I just got wireless internet. I was excited to update games and such and I knew it would be fast because both are close together. Every time I get done downloading one update, it gives me an error and I've found it to be dmz. It works on every other device but that one. I'm using a brand new Apple Airport Express and it's fully configured and I use Vista.
We have currently LMS 3.2 installed. We know have some new switches C2960-48PST-L that are not supported in CiscoView and Common Services. When trying an update in Software Center | Device Update, we receive an error message:Error while downloading package information from Cisco.com for the selected products. See the C:/PROGRA~1/CSCOpx/log/psu.log file for details.
The psu.log file shows the following: [ Wed Sep 26 14:33:15 CEST 2012 ] INFO [SecurityHandler : getCSProxyLogin] : No proxy User Name configured [ Wed Sep 26 14:33:15 CEST 2012 ] INFO [SecurityHandler : getCSProxyHost] : No proxy Host configured [ Wed Sep 26 14:33:24 CEST 2012 ] INFO [SecurityHandler : getCSProxyHost] : No proxy Host configured [ Wed Sep 26 14:33:24 CEST 2012 ] INFO [SecurityHandler : getCSProxyPort] : No proxy port confgured [ Wed Sep 26 14:33:26 CEST 2012 ] INFO [SecurityHandler : getCSProxyHost] : No proxy Host configured [ Wed Sep 26 14:33:26 CEST 2012 ] INFO [SecurityHandler : getCSProxyPort] : No proxy port confgured
Having issue in applying package updates in LMS 4.2.3?
I am getting an error whether going via the GUI or CLI. The key issue appears to be (according to the PSU.log):
[ Sat May 11 16:41:25 EST 2013 ] ERROR [PsuPkg Resolver : pick Unselected BasePackages] : Consistency check failed for base package SharedSwimRtr800(2.2) I have the version 2.0.1 of SharedSwimRtr800: 327.SharedSwimRtr8002.0.1SharedSwimRtr800 device package
And I can't seem to find 2.2 anywhere in the downloads section for LMS 4.2
whenever I start downloading any large file I start getting DNS lookup errors from Chrome. I can still download the file and even connect using TeamViewer so I am still connected to the internet is some fashion. My roomate is connected to the same network wirelessly and has not had the issue yet. I am currently connect directly to the router which a Belkin.
I recieve 0X800CCC0F error message when trying to download emails with attachments. My ISP is BT. BT say they cant fix it on my computer but many people are having this problem. They say their technicians are trying to fix it presumbably on the servers.
i have a dell mini 10 that had ubuntu but i put vista on it and after i did it my network controller wont install and i downloaded almost every driver dell had and one worked but i had the 39 error code, the driver that worked was DELL_WIRELESS-5530-HSPA-MINI_A06_R220877 but had 39 error code
When downloading files using chrome I keep getting "unknown network error" before the download is complete. Why is this happening and what can I do about it? I am using vista on an acer aspire 5535 laptop. I tried using internet explorer a few times instead but it has also happened there.
we have some strange problem on our c7200 IOS 12.2(31) with an e BGP peer. the eBGP session begins as usual and without any problem, all prefixes (Full BGP table) are announced to the neighbor, of course during this time the CPU goes high up to 80%. Then the both peers are in sync and traffic run as usual, but after some minutes the CPU goes again up to 80% and the debug on the neighbor side shows that it gets again the BGP updates for all BGP prefixes from our 7200 with "rejected - duplicated" comments for every received prefix, it means that it gets the updates for prefixes which are already exists in BGP table.
And it happens every 3-5 minutes. Truly said I can't explain why our 7200 always tries to send the Full bgp table again and again. The work-around was to configure the peer with "soft inbound", it's OK and we'd like to use it anyway , but from my opinion BGP shouldn't send Full BGP table very 5 minutes without "soft inbound" as well.
Running Windows 7 64bit, ISP is EATEL connected through a PACE 3801HGV to a new Linksys EA6500. Since the initial setup ( I was walked through the setup via Linksys support) I cannot access windows update, (the error screen tells me to restart my computer, "Windows update cannot currently check for updates because the service is not running. You may need to restart your computer", and I have done so 25 times) and I cannot update my Microsoft security essentials. Windows firewall tells me that the 'advanced settings snap-in' failed to load. Is it safe to uninstall and try to reinstall these or is there a way to start the services?
I already own a Beetel 220BX2 modem. I will be connecting : 1) my PC through the DWA-140 2) three Samsung Galaxy S 3) One LG phone (b/g) 4) Network Player (Yet to be bought) 5) Laptop
What are the steps to follow (Firmware updates, Configurations). I was planning to do VPN and to have each device have its own IP.
My organization has about 15 workstations, all running XP Pro. Our server is running MS Server 2003.Is there a way to push Security Essentials definition updates to all these machines behind the scenes, rather than having each one download the updates individually?I would like to automate the process, if possible, so that once a week the update file is downloaded from MS update, then applied to all workstations, but I don't know where to begin.
I have Prime 1.3, two WLC 5508 and 8 switches 2960s I try update my devices through Prime, but I can't.
When I start "Upgrade Analysis" and select switch (Catalyst WS-C2960S-24PS-L) and image (c2960s-universalk9-mz.150-2.SE2.bin) then click to "Run report"
Prime shows me that "Image not Applicable for this Device" I try different images, but it does not work.
And with WLC 5508 the same trouble. Why Prime can't do right analysis and updates devices?
I have a problem downloading software and device updates for LMS 4.0.1.
In the psu.log I get the following:

We are a relatively new Cisco partner. We used to work with CDW and now we are buying from distribution and selling directly. We buy a lot of ASA 5505 units from D&H.
My question is, aside from the disc that comes with the unit where do we download the latest firmware image and management software? It appears you have to have a contract ID to get these through the Cisco website. Do we not get "car blanche" access as a Cisco partner to these resources?
Also doesn't the Cisco ASA 5505 at least come with a license for the latest firmware? Many ship with very old software and even old CDROMs.
I am on my second 3520 Laptop (first one purchsed in November 2012, returned last week) and the same problem is happening. This is that after every Windows Update I am unable to connect to the Internet. Wi-Fi checks out and used by other PC's in the house, I thought I'd cured it recently by being able to go in and sign into Mcafee (22/1) then an update on 23/1 and BAM! No Internet, no way can I get into McAfee to sign in, and the only options are restore to 21/1 (did that still no joy) or back to Factory (23/12/12) and re-install Office 2010 AGAIN! I have spent over £10 in calling the Dell Premium line, I have emailed the Support Director who arranged the laptop swap and still have this problem. I have posted it on Windows 8 forums, other forums I can find, Googled 'No Internet after Windows8 updates' 'till the cows come home, have gone back to Factory about 10 times over the 2 machines, tried to create Restore points myself but they disappear after the updates, all very frustrating. I 'could' get a refund but this is the 6th Dell machine we've had and I like the support. This machine, like 2 others (1 on Vista about to be upgraded to Win7 the other just upgraded) this new one will be used in a church based Debt Advice charity so eventually will be in a cupboard and used every Wednesday by an admin volunteer. It will be a terrible pain to have this trouble as she's not that young nor a PC expert so I need a seamless, invisible solution that will work without a hitch like all updates in XP, Vista and Win7.
Does cisco provides updates for underlying windows server in ACS SE 1113 ? Patch updates are available for ACS 4.2 , but how can we update underlying windows server , Does patches for ACS is enough to secure underlying windows server .
We have the RVS4000 and have IPS turned on. How can I be notified (email would work) when updates to the IPS signatures are available, so I can keep our IPS signatures current?
I have an Actiontek pk5000, and it disconnects wifi every few minutes, I have this computer hooked to ethernet, and it still works, but my macs, and tablets won't connect wirelessly I have rebooted the modem 6 times now, and I get about 5 minutes of internet every time I reboot. I have tried to upgrade the firmware on it, but it says there are no updates for the firmware available for the router.
I've got a problem with Norton 360 6.0. Everytime it updates its definitions, my internet disconnects and I have to reboot my computer to get it back. However, every time I try to command prompt a ping, it says I'm connected as does my networking center.

We received new tablet and smart tv but cannot use them due to connection problems. The tv will not connect to the router and the tablet shows strong router strength but will not connect to the internet. I checked for firmware updates and there are 3. Do I simply install the latest firmware or all 3?
Is there a document that explains how the configurations are updated to the standby ASA and what needs to be manually added tot he ASA? I have two ASA 5510 running ASA ver 8.3(2) and ASDM 6.4(1). When I add static routes to the primary ASA the routes are not sent to the failover ASA. Is this to be expected or do I have a bug?
I have an 1841 running Advanced Enterprise Services 12.4(22)T3 that is functioning as a DHCP server and DNS server. What I am trying to figure out how to do is have the DNS service respond to queries about the clients of the dhcp service. I have successfully enabled it as a caching server for other requests, like "google.com" and "cisco.com", but what about the hosts on the local LAN?
As an example, let's say a Windows computer connects to the network with the hostname "computer" and receives an IP address from the 1841 with the domain name "test.net". I would like the 1841 to serve DNS queries for "computer.test.net" with the IP address that it assigned.
I am trying to get a 1811 to update routes on a 3750x. My static routes are being redistributed to the switch fine, however my connected networks are not My router has Vlan with several subnets attached.
interface Vlan1 description $ETH-SW-LAUNCH$$INTF-INFO-FE 2$$ES_LAN$$FW_INSIDE$ ip address xxx.xx.xx7.185 255.255.255.0 secondary ip address 172.90.0.185 255.255.255.0 secondary ip address 172.99.0.1 255.255.255.0 secondary ip address 10.170.10.254 255.255.255.0 secondary

A host on the xxx.xx.xx6.0 network cannot ping a host on the 10.10.44.0 network. All ports on the switch and the router are in vlan1
I'm havoing probems with my network "stuttering" and wanted to update the firmware. The RVO82 is currently running v2.0.0.19-tm and I have downloaded the latest; V 4.0.0.0.07-tm and tried to upload it to the router using both Safari and Firefox but the update won't take. I have followed the instructions to go to a fixed ip of 192..168.1.50 and have a connection directly to the router( bypassing the switch) but cannot get it to update.
I've got LACP-enabled port-channels between a Cisco 3750 stack and a few different switches (some Cisco 3750s and some Juniper EX2200s). The Ciscos are all sending slow LACP updates, the Junipers are sending fast LACP updates (but the Cisco they connect with is responding with slow LACP updates).
I have a couple of questions:
1) what are the pros and cons of slow vs fast updates? my research has led me to the conclusion that fast updates are better for network resiliency as long as you have plenty of bandwidth overhead (which I do at the moment). is there anything to add to this conclusion?
2) is there any way to configure the Cisco 3750s for fast updates?
#1: I have an N300 router and all of my devices (two laptops, one PS3, and one 3DS) connect to the internet just fine. But I'm having a problem when trying to connect to a friend on my 3DS when playing Pokemon Black Version 2. I've never had this problem before I got my N300 router. The 3DS connects to the internet without issue to download updates and shop the Nintendo store, but this in-game connection is not working.
#2: When I started using that same N300 router, suddenly my access to www.omegle.com was severely limited. It's a video chat site on which now I can no longer see the other users' video. Rarely a video will come through, by 90% of the time I just get black screens which I know I shouldn't be getting.
I have an N300 (F9K1002v2) and I'd like to know if there are any firmware updates newer than 2.00.08, I've tried flashing firmwares 3, 4, and 5 but they all fail.
I currently have 2 5505 SEC BUN as Primary/FO Firewalls and I am considering purchasing the ASA5510-AIP10-K9 for use as a dedicated IPS device. Looking at url... I see that for service updates, CON-SU1-AS1A10K9 is available for this product, providing "IPS Signature and Engine Updates" and "OS Updates."
It is my understanding that in the ASA5510-AIP10-K9 there are 2 OS:
1. ASA OS 2. AIP SSM-10 OS
My question is: Are both the ASA and AIP SSM-10 able to receive "OS updates" with this service contract? Essentially, I want to make sure that when I submit by budget, there isn't another contract that I also need.
I have been trying to get my 851W to work with DDNS for a long while now. In fact I walked away from the problem in frustration and loaded DD Client on a Linux box until I had time to re-visit this. The folks at Zone Edit were not able to offer much with CLI problems.
When I debug DDHS updates I get to a point where the the router tries to resolve the DDNS update address and fails. So I have a number of questions:
a) Is this error the result of lack of DNS server names written to the config?
b) My WAN interface is a DHCP client to my modem. If the DDNS updater does need to resolve a name, shouldn't the DNS server info be provided by the DHCP process for the WAN interface? How do I ensure that name servers are automatically assigned for the DDNS updater to use?
