Sharing :: Push Updates For MS Security Essentials?

My organization has about 15 workstations, all running XP Pro. Our server is running MS Server 2003.Is there a way to push Security Essentials definition updates to all these machines behind the scenes, rather than having each one download the updates individually?I would like to automate the process, if possible, so that once a week the update file is downloaded from MS update, then applied to all workstations, but I don't know where to begin.

I have purchased the ASA5512-K9 with the CX AVC and Web Security Essentials L-ASA5512-AW1Y as recommended by a Cisco pre-sales representative and my reseller for my environment. I had previously believed from the documentation on the Cisco site that all X generation models had the CX software included on them in the state that they are sold. Now in trying to configure the ASA5512, and with further reading of the setup documentation, I have discovered that I do not have the capability to access the CX functionality with this model 'as is', and this combination does not appear to be appropriate. It appears that the CX software module is not actually included on the ASA5512-K9 model, but rather only on the ASA5512-SSD120-K9 model.
If it is, should I exchange the ASA5512-K9 for an ASA5512-SSD120-K9 to get the combination of this subscription license and ASA model working. Am I correct in that the ASA5512-K9 model does not have a solid state drive on it already and so I can not download and install the CX software on it? As an alternative, is it possible to purchase a Cisco solid state drive seperately, plug it into the ASA5512-K9, download the CX software, and then install it on this new drive in the ASA5512-K9?

Recently upgraded a 5510 to Anyconnect Essentials and Anyconnect Mobile, the device was Security Plus and is now Base. Is it supposed to work this way? I lost my Gigabit interfaces. Is it possible to have Security Plus + Anyconnect Essentials?

I've got a problem with Norton 360 6.0. Everytime it updates its definitions, my internet disconnects and I have to reboot my computer to get it back. However, every time I try to command prompt a ping, it says I'm connected as does my networking center.

We have currently LMS 3.2 installed. We know have some new switches C2960-48PST-L that are not supported in CiscoView and Common Services.When trying an update in Software Center | Device Update, we receive an error message:Error while downloading package information from Cisco.com for the selected products. See the C:/PROGRA~1/CSCOpx/log/psu.log file for details.
The psu.log file shows the following:

I need setting up File/Folder/Printer sharing in small office LAN and also secure Files (password protect) among users. I have attached two JPG files in which i have tried my best to show the network diagram and how i want to share the files and folders. All the PCs are connected and i have made one Windows 7 Ultimate PC acting as File Server keeping its D Drive in sharing with other five Windows 7 Ultimate PCs acting as clients. I just want to know how to protect Files as per my requirement. There are no fixed PC of any dept users. All the users or Dept Head use any PCs as per availability.

I downloaded the ISO for SSE 2010, and the damned thing is too big to burn to a DVD5. I doubt seriously MS expects people to have Dual-Layer discs handy.Is this intended not to be burned, but installed from the desktop instead? I can open the ISO just fine with WinZip.

A make one BOM and i just ask my self can we order on the one platform ( for example 5510-SEC-BUN-K9 ) SSL Essentials license ( this license is on the platform by default we buy 250 users ) and i need 50 Users license from them to be Premium.
Can i buy those two license on the same platform and is this will work ?

I have a Cisco ASA 5500 Series appliance.I'd like to use the Embedded CA There’s no documentation which states an AnyConnect Essentials license will suffice, over an AnyConnect Premium.url... hints at Essentials being enough, as it specifically mentions some features require Premium, but I really need to be sure. Using AnyConnect Essentials (so, anyconnect essentials: Enabled) AND the Embedded CA?

We upgraded and re-configured two existing ASA5520 platforms in order to provide an SSL VPN solution for one of our customers.
The customer opted to deploy AnyConnect Essentials the functionality / features they required for day one were catered for in the Essentials license and budget constraints meant Premium licensing could not be included in the original deployment.
The licenses added to the system were:
L-ASA-AC-E-5520= AnyConnect Essentials VPN License - ASA 5520 (750 Users)
ASA-AC-M-5520 AnyConnect Mobile - ASA 5520 (req. Essentials or Premium)
The customer is now seeing a growing number of mobile devices and wishes to support the BYOD culture growing within the business; as a result we now need to use features available in AnyConnect Premium. I am aware from reading the following document [URL] that AnyConnect Essentials and Premium licenses cannot co-exist on an ASA; I need to ensure we purchase the appropriate upgrade for the customer.
Is there an SKU to upgrade / migrate an existing Essentials deployment to Premium? I've reviewed the licensing guide and price list but cannot find a method which enables this transition.

We have instructed our user community to start their VPN sessions by connecting to our ASA 5520 with a browser to download (if necessary) and initiate the Anyconnect essentials VPN client. Everything was working fine until a few days ago.
We have had several people report the same problem. They connect with the browser, enter their login information and are greeted with our "authorized use only" message by the ASA. Then, instead of downloading (if necessary) and starting the VPN client software, the web page just goes back to the login prompt without displaying any error message. The client software is never downloaded or started.
We've been able to work around this by installing the client software manually (where necessary) and starting the VPN client from the start menu. However, this isn't our preferred solution because this method won't have them automatically picking up updated versions of the VPN client.
We have seen this behavior before when there was a pending Java update that had not been applied. However, that doesn't seem to be the case this time. Clients have recently updated to IE9, but I have personnally been running the Anyconnect client and launching through IE9 for months.

I have been having some issues with Windows Audio needing to be restarted every time I log on. Also my theme has changed unexpectedly. I also noticed that Wndows firewall isn't started and it won't let me start it it gives me this...Could not start the Windows Firewall/Internet Connection Sharing (ICX) on local computer. Error 3 access is denied.

I have a RV 120W router and SBS 2011 Essentials server. The remote access was working porperly, but now when I type the URL it brings up the RV login screen instead of the Remote Access sign in page. I am not certain what settings are messed up.

I had my external drive plugged into the e3000 with the network drive mapped on 2 laptops. One day my connection was slow so I backdoored the router ip (I didn't use cisco connect) to reset the router from my iPhone. I'm not sure exactly what was changed, but the partition disappeared from the drive. I've used a couple file recovery programs to try and retrieve the 250+ Gb data that was on the drive with no luck. They only find "deleted" files. Not the 13k files that were there and not deleted. The drive was never bootable. What to be used to recover the files.

Using LMS 3.1 in win 2003 SP2. Recently experiencing a problem, not able to fetch/push config for the n/w devices. I deleted and re added the device to lms and found able to perform the task. There was no connectvity issue during the problem.

I have a VPN tunnel with an WRVS4400N (teleworker) on one side and sonicwall firewall on the other. I need the telework's router to know to push two ip's through the tunnerl, 9.19.178.( ) and 172.20.0.( ). It looks like when you setup the tunnel you can only do one. The tunnel does work with 9.19.178.( ) but how do I tell the router to also push 172.20.0.( ) traffic through the tunnel as well?

We are using a CISCO1921-SEC (ISR) with IOS 15.1 and we configured a "crypto isakmp client configuration group". We can connect with the "Cisco System VPN Client Version 5.0.07.0410" via IPSec/UDP.
1. Is it possible to push routing informations to the System running the VPN Client ? A the moment all traffic is routed to the tunnel but we like only one route to the network permitted with "pool ..." in the "crypto isakmp client configuration group NAME" section.
2. We searched for changing from upd connection to tcp connection via special port. Is it possible with IOS 15.1 on the CISCO1921-SEC ? Is there something possible like "iskamp ipsec-over-tcp port 10000" ?

I am having an issue here. I have 2x 5508 that each have 100 AP license and a little under 200 access points. Basically all of the access points are using DNS to connect to the primary controller that has the DNS entry. Basically half of my access points need to be on the second controller and in order to do this I have been using the high availability mode of each access point to push them to the second controller IP address.It was working perfectly until now. I have pushed 28 access points to the second controller and the last two I need to push at this location just keep resetting on the primary controller. Neither controller is configured as master controller.

Ok so the mail flows to the Barracuda using a static 1:1 NAT configuration and then gets delivered from the Barracuda to the Exchange server. I want to implement active sync (Direct Push) for Windows mobile devices. They need to communicate with mail.domain.com over port 443. The problem is I want mail to continue to flow to the Barracuda, but direct Direct Push traffic to the Exchange server.I cnow I can't implement two 1:1 NAT mappings from the same external hostname to 2 different servers.

We have 30+ wireless access points controlled by a Cisco 4400 Series WLC (mostly AP1231's and some AP1242's). The WLC's system time is set by a network NTP server and is correct. However the APs clock is an hour behind that of the controller.

just to relieve a little those who complain for the loss of functionalities/control caused by the new firmware, I want to let you know that yesterday evening when I came back home the router was bricked. After more than 2 hours of tests with the online support, they ended up the device has to be replaced.To add insult to injury, I ALSO HAVE TO PAY to ship my router to Cisco warehouse. I couldn't believe my eyes... It's not for the 10 bucks it costs the shipment (even if 10 bucks are much better in my wallet than in Cisco's), but I already spent around 300 bucks less than 2 months ago to buy the two devices and now I have to pay to fix something I have not broken.

The wireless adapter settings page has an entry for 'PIN' and 'PBC' for WPS.Selecting either always results in the client station requesting the routers pin, indicating that the pushbutton selection is not working properly.The router was doing this with the version of hardware that it was shipped with. i have downgraded to 120522 and the router is behaving exactly the same.Has anyone successfully configured the router for pushbutton connection? do not suggest that we use the pin setting as we have a requirement for dumb devices to connect to wireless and they only support pushbutton connection.

I have a PS3 and I just got wireless internet. I was excited to update games and such and I knew it would be fast because both are close together. Every time I get done downloading one update, it gives me an error and I've found it to be dmz. It works on every other device but that one. I'm using a brand new Apple Airport Express and it's fully configured and I use Vista.

we have some strange problem on our c7200 IOS 12.2(31) with an e BGP peer. the eBGP session begins as usual and without any problem, all prefixes (Full BGP table) are announced to the neighbor, of course during this time the CPU goes high up to 80%. Then the both peers are in sync and traffic run as usual, but after some minutes the CPU goes again up to 80% and the debug on the neighbor side shows that it gets again the BGP updates for all BGP prefixes from our 7200 with "rejected - duplicated" comments for every received prefix, it means that it gets the updates for prefixes which are already exists in BGP table.
And it happens every 3-5 minutes. Truly said I can't explain why our 7200 always tries to send the Full bgp table again and again. The work-around was to configure the peer with "soft inbound", it's OK and we'd like to use it anyway , but from my opinion BGP shouldn't send Full BGP table very 5 minutes without "soft inbound" as well.
