View 2 Replies View RelatedI have a combined modem/router that was supplied to me by my ISP, and I want to connect a second router (Linksys) to it, because we share internet with the backhouse and the one router does not reach far enough. All of the hardware is working, but I cannot get the Linksys router to connect to the internet. Here's the stats:
The main router is a SmartRG, Powered by ClearAccess Model: SR300N I'm not sure what other information here is pertinent.
The secondary router is Linksys Wireless-G Broadband Router Model: WRT54G
The main router works without a hitch, so that's not the problem. I have the second router connected through one of the output slots from the main router, into the internet connection slot in the Linksys. Even hardwiring a computer into the Linksys doesn't work, so it seems like the actual router itself isn't connected.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI am trying to configure a Unified Wireless solutions with ACS 5.1 and am having trouble with the access policies. We have corporate laptops authenticating via PEAP and 7921 phones authenticating using EAP-FAST.
I have one access service configured to allow PEAP and authenticate against AD and another access service configured to allow EAP-FAST and authenticate the 7921 phones against the "internal user" database.
I have configured 2 service selection rules. Each one points to one of the access services. The only condition I have currently configured is the "protocol" field to be RADIUS. Because both the 7921 phones and the client laptops are generating RADIUS requests I can only have one EAP type working depending which rule is at the top. Because the RADIUS protocol field is always matched, requests never get past the first rule.

I'm having a problem with my PlayStation and Xbox online gaming. my NAT types are too strict to play some games at all and when i set up my network connection i have a NAT type 3. I am not very handy with networking to fix my problem.
Whenever I add devices in CiscoWorks and do not manually specify the device type. CiscoWorks find itself wrong device types for it, For example I have found that mostly it classify WS-C3750-48PS-S as below device types; [code]
Also found that WS-C3560-24PS-S discovered as 7600 series routers.
I've had this problem with my parents internet for some time now, but it's getting gradually worse. It goes through stages of being connected to the internet but won't load web pages. The error messages are;
On Firefox: "The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading"
On Chrome: "The connection to www.example.co.uk was interrupted"
But my computer still says it is connected, and indeed some downloading still works even though web pages won't load (i was able to download the 'Settlers 7' demo from bittorrent and the full game from steam uninterrupted)
ISP is Post Office Connection is DSL Up to 3 computers share this connection, 2 connected by wireless and 1 by LAN. I used to believe this problem affected all 3 computers simultaneously, but now I�m not sure

I have restored , cleared all cache, browser data, chrome data, and rebooted. Nothing has worked. AOL will bring up my FB page. all other will load and not this. It will come up on chrome but not aol.

I tried 3 different browsers & I tried unplugging my modem & leaving it off all night to reset it but nothing seems to work. I thought maybe the website was down but then I was able to log in at the library so I thought maybe I was banned & they blocked my IP address so I downloaded a program that hides my IP address & I was able to load the site but not play the game. Just today tho I took my laptop to school & got on wifi & played it with no problem without even using the hide my IP program. So I am absolutely stumped! This is the only web page my computer will not load & I really want to play the game again.

I ran scans, restarted, flushed the dns and even tried changing it to a public dns (but it wont load though, so i didnt). Certain sites on my desktop will not load. These sites include speedtest.net, twitter, battle.net ect. Youtube opens, but videos don't play. However some work fine, such as reddit.However, my connection is fine on my laptop. My laptop is wireless and my desktop is wireless.I recently got my desktop back from repairs, and it has a new motherboard, with a clean instal of windows vista. I installed all the drivers ect. It says im connected to the internet, and I can access some sites. I've flushed the DNS, and called my provider. They say nothing is wrong on their end.Oh, and after ringing the repair shop, they said to install adobe and java. Java installed fine, but the adobe site wouldn't load (lol). So I copied the adobe files from my laptop over to the desktop. Youtube videos now play, but it feels slow, considering im on a 30MB download connection.

I see only the blue Facebook bar on top and that it. So if I want to page to load perfectly I need to mark the address and click enter, and then the page loads perfectly.

They all just decide to not load pages fairly often. It happens on my netbook and PC, has been going on for like a year. Formatted each pc at least once since it started. It's really annoying. It's been awhile since I used firefox so I dont remember that error message but Chrome gives me the sad face with the x's in it's eyes and says oops I cannot load the page. On pages that auto refresh it happens ALOT. Once I click the refresh button once or twice it loads it fine. My HTC EVO doesnt have any trouble with the internet when I have it connected to my router. The operating system is Windows 7.

Weird part is that I can use Steam perfectly to play games, Friends system works, etc. Just the websites related to it don't load. Problem started about 2 weeks ago, went away for 5 days, but then came back (only messing with Steam websites again). I know the problem isn't Steam because all my friends have been able to use it normally this whole time.The problem is not limited to my own PC, every computer on my network has the same problem, even iPads/iPhones. I've checked for malware, came up clean; reset router to factory settings, done everything I've been able to come up with and the problem persists.

Today Windows even downloaded, installed the latest updates and asked to reboot. So I know there is an internet connection and it's working just fine.I have:installed and run AVG and then uninstalled it disabled windows firewall uninstalled everything that wasn't necessary checked the browsers aren't working offline checked for proxy settings in both safari and IE completely reset IE to all of its default settings done a clean boot according to the directions on the MS site url... View 5 Replies View RelatedLet me start with what the problem is. Some pages like google open very fast while some takes a lot of time and sometimes do not load at all.I tried pinging certain websites along with mygame website mabinogi.nexon.net and the request timed out. I tried a few solutions
1) Switched browser and it didn't seem to work (Even the client I use for the game Mabinogi disconnects every 5 to 10 mins)
2) Tried changing the DNS to OpenDNS and it still didn't work
3) Tried using network on safe mode with networking and still I got the same result. That is some pages take a lot of time while others load soon.
The past month or so Facebook has been incredibly spotty. I downloaded Chrome (originally using Firefox) which is slightly more reliable but never that great. I don't have a big scary firewall up, nothing has changed with my network at all!

I have checked the hosts file and am able to telnet [URL] 80 and get a reply in html. I am connected to my modem through a wireless network using a dynamic IP and have uninstalled all antivirus software. The issue started just after installing SpyHunter and running a scan with it.
View 7 Replies View RelatedFor a while in our house we were using only US Cellular Broadband connect, which is essentially a mobile 3G USB adapter. We uninstalled this from all the computers when we recently got Charter cable internet which is being broadcasted wirelessly with a Netgear cg3000d-rg. I know that the US Cellular broadband turns off wifi connectivity, but we made sure to uninstall all the drivers and software. We have 2 comps running XP and one Macbook, all able to connect to the new router. One Acer Aspire One is the holdout. It connected wirelessly fine before, but now will not work. It says it's "connected" and assigns an IP, but no matter what browser it will not load any webpages.

all of a sudden my browser wont let me load this one certain site (Pwctoday.com). I think my internet is blocking it because i cant even go on my phone that is connected to my wifi.
