I have an ISIS TFS1612 security camera system at my business. I'm looking to view it remotely. But, I can't seem to get it working. I have forwarded all ports that it uses. As well as set up a static external ip address. The modem I have is an Actiontec Q1000 which also acts like my router. There are other things connected to the modem.
View 5 RepliesI've just setup my router and dvr system. I have my DVR wired to a Linksys E1200 router. At home view by using url....it then prompts me to log in and voila I can view. I tried setting up the port forwarding although I'm not sure if I did it correctly or not. I got onto my routers webpage. Went to "applications & gaming" Named port, selected both, put in DVR's ip address and clicked save. Came to work and tried to view it and I just get the "cannot load webpage" page.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI need viewing a DVR camera system remotely through a Motorola Netopia 3347 router. I was able to view the system properly for a year with the old ATT modem and a separate router, but recently the modem crashed and ATT replaced it with this Netopia that I can't for the life of me, understand.I can view locally but not remotely from the internet. I need establishing the Pinholes properly. I'm trying to get it working for port 85 for the DVR system. But I'm confused on the Internal vs. External port #'s it asks for in the Pinhole screen. No combination I enter seems to work. I even tried just using port 80 to get it working, but there was a conflict creating a pinhole for 80 since its already mapped to HTTP.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a new apple airport extreme wireless router and have done all the port forwarding and gave the camera a static address and cannot view my camera outside my network. I also have done the dyndns service also. I will note if I change the http port in the camera settings to say 82 I get a black screen and cannot view my camera till I switch back to port 80. Reason why I want to do this is I need to view my camera for more then 60 seconds.

But I can't view it from my work or anywhere outside our wireless range.It is a DCS-920. I have opened port 80, and checked it with a port checker and it says its open. I have bell as a provider with a 2 wire 2701hg-g modem.I read on here about someone else not having a gateway address or primary DNS. I don't know what to put in there. Important info: I only want to run the camera in my local network, i wont use the mydlink option,But if i install the D-ViewCam software the screen remains black and the program wont find my camera. My modem is a wireless type,but the camera receiver only has cable support it seems.

I have enabled DHCP but want to set static table IP's for my security camera DVR and one computer, the others can remain dynamic. I know in other routers I can attach a LAN IP to a mac address to keep it static but I can't see where I can do that with this router.

The real question I have is what is the easiest way to access any camera via a browser from a remote location. Years ago tech friend assisted me access my DCS-910 using dyndns.org. It was free and worked great. I guess it went away when they started charging for a basic account.
Is there an easy way to access a camera without using dyndns even if it involves putting in an IP address instead of a convenient domain name? I would just like to see at least one of my cameras in a browser off-site. If I have to pay $20/year for dyndns I can but I would prefer not to if possible.
I am trying to setup 4 cameras to view with remote live view. I set up my server with IP addresses of 192.168.1.80 .... 85. The screen has only the option for 1 video channel. I have seen on-line screen shots that have options for channel 1 through 8. I want to assign each camera to a different channel so I will be able to use remote live view to show all 4 cameras at the same time. I can only show one at a time. Do I need a different version than 3.3 or some obscure windows 7 setting?

The Goal:We're trying to view the DVR over the wireless 4g network. We have the 320U Aircard connected to the Router and we're able to access the internet. We have DDNS set up in the router for the host name [URL]. I have gone into the Router with the IP address "192.168.1.1" and configured the device, we forwarded ports 80, 9000 and 18004 to the IP address of the DVR "192.168.1.103" And we also added our dynDNS details in the router. I set the the DVR with a static IP address to "192.168.1.103" and rebooted everything. I was then able to access the DVR via a Local Connection. But when I tried to access the DVR via "Redxdvr.dyndns.org" It would not connect.

My problem is that I havent been using command lines for 15 years, I litterally have never used a command line besides using stuff like ipconfig in command prompt.I have a ssh server on my home server using FreeSSH'd and The only ssh program i can find with a gui is winscp. Though theres no option to connect through ssh everyone says it does and theres even options for it.
Though when i try to run the bat file i get this error"Current sftp -3 session does not support command you request" then something about a seperate shell session. if i click ok it goes down to starting the session then just sits there and says host is not communication for more than 15 seconds still waiting and only option is to abort.
