View 1 RepliesI am trying to setup 4 cameras to view with remote live view. I set up my server with IP addresses of 192.168.1.80 .... 85. The screen has only the option for 1 video channel. I have seen on-line screen shots that have options for channel 1 through 8. I want to assign each camera to a different channel so I will be able to use remote live view to show all 4 cameras at the same time. I can only show one at a time. Do I need a different version than 3.3 or some obscure windows 7 setting?

Me and my wife, who lives here in the US, always views those IPcams through my web browser from my PC (firefox 7.1).
I was just wondering if there is a different way to watch those cameras using my computer. I was looking for a dedicated D-link APP or Program so I don't have to use the browser anymore.
BTW, my brother uses dyndns with his DCS-2121.
I have a setting where we are using some DCS930l cameras connected to a 2003 server. We are using the remote viewer and can see one camera but not the others. We have 5 cameras. We try to drag and drop the other cameras, but nothing shows up. Only the 1.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI having issues with DView 3.11 on a WinXP Professional with SP3.There are 4 DCS 5300G cameras wired to the router.I can see the cameras using IE, but when I try to configure the DView in the camera section with the autodetect button it will show an error that the camera cannot be identified.I had checked the IP address, port, user & pass everything is ok. I even hard reseted one of the cameras and it won't work.

Setup my DCS-930L for DDNS (Dynamic Domain Name Server) so I can access the DCS-930L via the Internet (couldn't access the camera half the the time while on vacation using mydlink) and can now access the camera using my laptop, Android Thrive, and Motorola Droid 3 via the URL I've created but can only see the video when using the laptop.
I have the DCS-930L set to Java but when I log into the camera with the Thrive or Droid 3 (both Android devices) I don't get video. I can make changes to the camera settings and everything else you can do when logged into the camera but just can't see the video. If I change the 'View Mode' in the video setup to 'Image', I will get a picture on all three devices (Thrive, Droid 3, and laptop).
What do I need on the Droid 3 & Thrive so I can see the video when I log into the DCS-930L with an Android device?
I have a new apple airport extreme wireless router and have done all the port forwarding and gave the camera a static address and cannot view my camera outside my network. I also have done the dyndns service also. I will note if I change the http port in the camera settings to say 82 I get a black screen and cannot view my camera till I switch back to port 80. Reason why I want to do this is I need to view my camera for more then 60 seconds.

The real question I have is what is the easiest way to access any camera via a browser from a remote location. Years ago tech friend assisted me access my DCS-910 using dyndns.org. It was free and worked great. I guess it went away when they started charging for a basic account.
Is there an easy way to access a camera without using dyndns even if it involves putting in an IP address instead of a convenient domain name? I would just like to see at least one of my cameras in a browser off-site. If I have to pay $20/year for dyndns I can but I would prefer not to if possible.

When I attempt to connect them to D-View Cam 3.11 they fail to connect or will not stay connected.I first tried connecting to the router with both cameras in the same room as the router. One will connect and stay connected but the other will connect and freeze or not connect at all. If I move th GOOD camera out of the room, it will not connect.Do I have a router issue? I have done my best to configure the mainconsole correctly so that my cam's will record on motion based occurances on a weekly schedule of 24 hours a day everyday. I have a lot of evidence that the system is recording as when I have the console open that there is motion detected and there are 3 folders in my nas unit that has tons of .dat files in them. My problem comes in when using the playback system. When I select the search by date/time button and locate the folder that is for a the camera I am interested in playing video for the results never show up!

During the day it works great, but after nightfall the camera shows random lines in the [poor] video. These lines are being picked up as motion and as such the camera records all night long taking up massive amounts of disk space. I set the router to recovery mode and tried openwrt, dd-wrt, tomato, and gargoyle. I tried with chrome, firefox, ultra simple web browser, and ie 8. Every attempt resulted in "Upgrade Failed". I know Rev A1 is supported by DD-WRT, just sucks newegg sent me a B1. Looks like several other routers run similar hardware, so it's got to be doable.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI have (2) 942-L, and (1) 5222-L on one network. port forwarding set on router; (942) 192.168.1.3:1024, (942) 192.168.1.4:1025, and (5222) 192.168.1.8:80. no matter if all 3 are connected to dViewCam, only two will work at a time. Disconnect any third, and they work fine. reconnect 3rd, and one disconnects intermittently. On a side note, if I run a different program on another computer (iMac); i.e. IP Camera Viewer, they all work fine. I know, I know, but I like DViewCam, because it's the only thing running the PC computer.

I installed the latest version (3.1.1). As soon as I launch the Main Console it crashes and I get the "Missing or Corrupted Files error code 268435457". I saw the other post in terms of change the display settings on my PC to 1280X768, however, that does not work. I also have User Account Control (UAC) turned off.
