i have multiple DCS-930 and DCS-932 at my home. I also have other IP cameras. Is there a way to add IP cameras to the mydlink app on Android, iPad, and web?
View 1 RepliesI tried several times to see the DCS 942L camera picture on my Samsung Advance S smartphone on UMTS 3G net but also setting the video parameters profiles at minimum (64 Kbit/s) it does not work. The MyDlink lite version is the 2.6.1. release. Locally ,using Wi-Fi it works well of course.

When I attempt to connect them to D-View Cam 3.11 they fail to connect or will not stay connected.I first tried connecting to the router with both cameras in the same room as the router. One will connect and stay connected but the other will connect and freeze or not connect at all. If I move th GOOD camera out of the room, it will not connect.Do I have a router issue? I am using Verizon FIOS with their supplied router (Actiontec, I think). My wireless laptop connects but signal strength is never 5 bars.
View 2 Replies View Relatedi have this problem when using Remote Live Viewer the Web Remote Client of DviewCam 3.2: i can only see one camera at a time, even more i have to stop playing the current one if i want to change the camera. the viewer shows me the grid for playing many cameras but i don't know if they can be played simultaneously. I can select any camera and will play so i don't think it's an access problem.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI have (2) 942-L, and (1) 5222-L on one network. port forwarding set on router; (942) 192.168.1.3:1024, (942) 192.168.1.4:1025, and (5222) 192.168.1.8:80. no matter if all 3 are connected to dViewCam, only two will work at a time. Disconnect any third, and they work fine. reconnect 3rd, and one disconnects intermittently. On a side note, if I run a different program on another computer (iMac); i.e. IP Camera Viewer, they all work fine. I know, I know, but I like DViewCam, because it's the only thing running the PC computer.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI just purchased two DCS-930L cameras. They are both installed and running fine over wireless. I can view them via a web browser, however, I cannot get D-ViewCam to work. I installed the latest version (3.1.1). As soon as I launch the Main Console it crashes and I get the "Missing or Corrupted Files error code 268435457". I saw the other post in terms of change the display settings on my PC to 1280X768, however, that does not work. I also have User Account Control (UAC) turned off.

View 3 Replies View RelatedSetup my DCS-930L for DDNS (Dynamic Domain Name Server) so I can access the DCS-930L via the Internet (couldn't access the camera half the the time while on vacation using mydlink) and can now access the camera using my laptop, Android Thrive, and Motorola Droid 3 via the URL I've created but can only see the video when using the laptop.
I have the DCS-930L set to Java but when I log into the camera with the Thrive or Droid 3 (both Android devices) I don't get video. I can make changes to the camera settings and everything else you can do when logged into the camera but just can't see the video. If I change the 'View Mode' in the video setup to 'Image', I will get a picture on all three devices (Thrive, Droid 3, and laptop).
What do I need on the Droid 3 & Thrive so I can see the video when I log into the DCS-930L with an Android device?
I am trying to setup 4 cameras to view with remote live view. I set up my server with IP addresses of 192.168.1.80 .... 85. The screen has only the option for 1 video channel. I have seen on-line screen shots that have options for channel 1 through 8. I want to assign each camera to a different channel so I will be able to use remote live view to show all 4 cameras at the same time. I can only show one at a time. Do I need a different version than 3.3 or some obscure windows 7 setting?

When I change the port on DCS-930L configuration page to other port like 8080, I can't view it on mydlink.com, but if I view it locally, it works which defeats the whole purpose.

I can view the video live from mydlink.com.I've tried the dlink software, but it can't find the camera so I can control recording options, ftp, etc. i've also tried 3rd party software that can't find my camera.I'm fairly internet savvy, but do not have access to my router admin atm. (cable company installed their own) My home ip address is supposed to be dynamic. I thought that would cause me problems viewing from mydlink.com, but it hasn't so far.

I was just wondering if there is a different way to watch those cameras using my computer. I was looking for a dedicated D-link APP or Program so I don't have to use the browser anymore.

I have a setting where we are using some DCS930l cameras connected to a 2003 server. We are using the remote viewer and can see one camera but not the others. We have 5 cameras. We try to drag and drop the other cameras, but nothing shows up. Only the 1.

I have done my best to configure the mainconsole correctly so that my cam's will record on motion based occurances on a weekly schedule of 24 hours a day everyday. I have a lot of evidence that the system is recording as when I have the console open that there is motion detected and there are 3 folders in my nas unit that has tons of .dat files in them. My problem comes in when using the playback system. When I select the search by date/time button and locate the folder that is for a the camera I am interested in playing video for the results never show up!

During the day it works great, but after nightfall the camera shows random lines in the [poor] video. These lines are being picked up as motion and as such the camera records all night long taking up massive amounts of disk space. Even when I put the camera motion detection on 'lowest' value, it still picks it up.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI having issues with DView 3.11 on a WinXP Professional with SP3.There are 4 DCS 5300G cameras wired to the router.I can see the cameras using IE, but when I try to configure the DView in the camera section with the autodetect button it will show an error that the camera cannot be identified.I had checked the IP address, port, user & pass everything is ok. I even hard reseted one of the cameras and it won't work.

But if I record the video and play it back, there is no audio on the playback. I have the microphone on the camera enableI now have sound recording, however, the audio is about 3 seconds behind the video. Is there a setting somewhere to keep them synchronized? Taking another look at Dview cam today after not touching it for 3 months after initial install.The dcs-2132L can't connect.I can to the 2132L directly... I changed the port as a test.. Port 80 wasn't working originally.

This causes massive 3G data to be used. If you don't close the app first it just keeps streaming and eating data + battery.This data screen cap is for 10 minutes after locking the phone with the app open.When the phone locks, the app should kill the video streaming.

I see that the software is no longer recommended and may no longer be available. Any explanation for the move to the DView Cam software ? View 7 Replies View RelatedI'm puzzled that you don't seem to be able to do this (a basic feature). Seems like when motion is detected you can only send an email or do the DI/DO thing.
I can do this quite well via the direct web-based interface (1.03 and earlier at least) on the DCS-1130, but the 932L doesn't have video record on motion option (baffled as to why not there too, but that's another issue). So, I was thinking of using the DCS software to get motion-detected recording out of the 932L, but looks like I can't do that either?
