I have 3 DCS-932L connected to DviewCAM 3.3 Device pack 1.4.2. When I open the DviewCAM main console I have picture. When I activate network service (live streaming) options under port: 8080 and webserver port: 801, it allows a visual of the DviewCAM GUI but no live streaming over the internet. [code]

I know if i browse to my ip of my pc it allows me to view both services on html via windows plugin visual basic addon. My question is what iOS app and Mac OS X app will allow me to remotely monitor my dviewcam softwares network service for both live view and recorded view.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have just purchased 3 DCS-932L'S and installed 3.11 D-ViewCam software. I have done my best to configure the mainconsole correctly so that my cam's will record on motion based occurances on a weekly schedule of 24 hours a day everyday. I have a lot of evidence that the system is recording as when I have the console open that there is motion detected and there are 3 folders in my nas unit that has tons of .dat files in them. My problem comes in when using the playback system. When I select the search by date/time button and locate the folder that is for a the camera I am interested in playing video for the results never show up!

During the day it works great, but after nightfall the camera shows random lines in the [poor] video. These lines are being picked up as motion and as such the camera records all night long taking up massive amounts of disk space. Even when I put the camera motion detection on 'lowest' value, it still picks it up.

But if I record the video and play it back, there is no audio on the playback. I have the microphone on the camera enableI now have sound recording, however, the audio is about 3 seconds behind the video. Is there a setting somewhere to keep them synchronized? I have checked all the video sync checkboxes I can find.
View 4 Replies View Relatedi have this problem when using Remote Live Viewer the Web Remote Client of DviewCam 3.2: i can only see one camera at a time, even more i have to stop playing the current one if i want to change the camera. the viewer shows me the grid for playing many cameras but i don't know if they can be played simultaneously. I can select any camera and will play so i don't think it's an access problem.
View 2 Replies View Relatedi've lost the ability to view live streaming video (adobe flash, i think) on several websites. it happened gradually over several weeks and now videos will not load. the dir-615 has functioned flawlessly over several years but it might be showing its age now. connecting directly to my com cast broadband modem fixes the problem. can i tweak the router settings or do i need to replace it?
my setup: dir-615, H/W Ver. E1, F/W Ver. 5.00NA, two wired connections to X Box's and one to Win 7 PC. wireless connections to several Win 7 laptops and other tablets/phones. com cast high speed broadband with their Norton security suite.

I am trying to setup 4 cameras to view with remote live view. I set up my server with IP addresses of 192.168.1.80 .... 85. The screen has only the option for 1 video channel. I have seen on-line screen shots that have options for channel 1 through 8. I want to assign each camera to a different channel so I will be able to use remote live view to show all 4 cameras at the same time. I can only show one at a time. Do I need a different version than 3.3 or some obscure windows 7 setting?

I heard about Roku & thought that is what I wanted or Blueray with DLNA. But Roku just pulls streams from subscriber sites like Netflix & Hulu. DLNA will allow you to view video you have on your HDD but will not let you stream live feeds like watching a live event that is streaming on your PC. Is there any hardware out there that will allow me to have whats on my PC screen on my TV screen via wifi (or other means)?

I have called tech support 4 times now, and I still can't get everything to play nice...I have the 655 set up as a wireless router to a Windows 7 laptop, one iPad, two iTouches, and one N3DS. I can't find a setting that will work with all devices. Here are the senarios...
1) Settings: Wireless enabled, 802.11n only, Auto Scan off-channel set to 1, Best Transmission rate, Channel Width Auto 20/40, Visible, Auto WPA Mode with AES Cipher and a pre-share key. This yields fantastic results with my laptop, it can stream video for entire episodes, and I have no problems with loading webpages in either IE or Firefox. However, it does not support the kids iTouches or N3DS.
2) Changed the above to mixed 802.11n/g AND ALSO tried 802.11 only: iTouches work and can connect to the internet, but laptop doesn't like it. I get "Problem loading webpage" every other time I access and website, and streaming stop every 5-6 minutes. Bars indicate wireless signal is strong, but intermittently get that yellow triangle.

Me and my wife, who lives here in the US, always views those IPcams through my web browser from my PC (firefox 7.1).
I was just wondering if there is a different way to watch those cameras using my computer. I was looking for a dedicated D-link APP or Program so I don't have to use the browser anymore.
BTW, my brother uses dyndns with his DCS-2121.

When I attempt to connect them to D-View Cam 3.11 they fail to connect or will not stay connected.I first tried connecting to the router with both cameras in the same room as the router. One will connect and stay connected but the other will connect and freeze or not connect at all. If I move th GOOD camera out of the room, it will not connect.Do I have a router issue? Taking another look at Dview cam today after not touching it for 3 months after initial install.The dcs-2132L can't connect.I can to the 2132L directly... I changed the port as a test.. Port 80 wasn't working originally.

This causes massive 3G data to be used. If you don't close the app first it just keeps streaming and eating data + battery.This data screen cap is for 10 minutes after locking the phone with the app open.When the phone locks, the app should kill the video streaming.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI have (2) 942-L, and (1) 5222-L on one network. port forwarding set on router; (942) 192.168.1.3:1024, (942) 192.168.1.4:1025, and (5222) 192.168.1.8:80. no matter if all 3 are connected to dViewCam, only two will work at a time. Disconnect any third, and they work fine. reconnect 3rd, and one disconnects intermittently. On a side note, if I run a different program on another computer (iMac); i.e. IP Camera Viewer, they all work fine. I know, I know, but I like DViewCam, because it's the only thing running the PC computer.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI just purchased two DCS-930L cameras. They are both installed and running fine over wireless. I can view them via a web browser, however, I cannot get D-ViewCam to work. I installed the latest version (3.1.1). As soon as I launch the Main Console it crashes and I get the "Missing or Corrupted Files error code 268435457". I saw the other post in terms of change the display settings on my PC to 1280X768, however, that does not work. I also have User Account Control (UAC) turned off.

I see that the software is no longer recommended and may no longer be available. Any explanation for the move to the DView Cam software ? View 6 Replies View RelatedSetup my DCS-930L for DDNS (Dynamic Domain Name Server) so I can access the DCS-930L via the Internet (couldn't access the camera half the the time while on vacation using mydlink) and can now access the camera using my laptop, Android Thrive, and Motorola Droid 3 via the URL I've created but can only see the video when using the laptop.
I have the DCS-930L set to Java but when I log into the camera with the Thrive or Droid 3 (both Android devices) I don't get video. I can make changes to the camera settings and everything else you can do when logged into the camera but just can't see the video. If I change the 'View Mode' in the video setup to 'Image', I will get a picture on all three devices (Thrive, Droid 3, and laptop).
What do I need on the Droid 3 & Thrive so I can see the video when I log into the DCS-930L with an Android device?
"The license is invalid." (Error code:2268435460) it happens with all versions tested on several PCs (Win2003 Server, WinXP). Already tried to reboot, edit the registry, etc but no luck. Using 3 dcs 2121?
View 7 Replies View RelatedI'm puzzled that you don't seem to be able to do this (a basic feature). Seems like when motion is detected you can only send an email or do the DI/DO thing.
I can do this quite well via the direct web-based interface (1.03 and earlier at least) on the DCS-1130, but the 932L doesn't have video record on motion option (baffled as to why not there too, but that's another issue). So, I was thinking of using the DCS software to get motion-detected recording out of the 932L, but looks like I can't do that either?
Downloaded DVIEWCam 3.0. Are there any plans on supporting older Dlink Cameras like the DCS-2100 etc ...? Even my DCS-3220 is not fully supported, however the 3420 worked in the config menu.
