View 2 Replies View Relatedone of my client just installed window 8 and he is not able to connect with anyconnect anymore. if he connect with ASA for anyconnect version 2019 it work fine. but i have tried all different version on router. but when user try to connect with router for anyconnect then there is gateway error. it ask for connect anyway then it stop. connection failed. i tried 00605.. anyconnect on router but still no luck. i think, i have to make some changes. but dont know what changes on router. window 7 has no issue.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI had a problem with client computer unable to connect to internet. the system is connected wirelessly and the signal strength ok. i tried it with another broswer, the same thing too. But when i used static ip addressing it was ok. this is our dns and dhcp address: 192.168.3.11 and the default gateway. but when i pinged the default gateway it way replying. using ipconfig /all:192.168.3.6 which is the peplink router switch it did show default gateway. and we are using dhcp in our organisation. After running a packet trace on the traffic coming from the site to the server they are trying to access, the trace indentifies that the client pc is sending a window size of zero to the server, and it does this twice. So in essence the client is saying it is too busy. This is strange as all the other applications work for the users and it is only this one application that is experiencing issues. The only other issue is that there is some retransmitted traffic before the client sends window size.

View 4 Replies View RelatedWe purchased an EA6500 to take the place of the router function of a Verizon Westell 7500. We bridged the Westell, installed and set up the EA6500 and everything seems fine.
What is strange is that some devices on the network (our server, user PC, a NAS that isn't part of the domain) while accessible if you navigate to them via \ do not appear in the Network window.
This of course is causing issues for some users who don't or won't map network drives.
At first I thought this may be an issue related to us having some of our network devices with static IP addresses so we switched them over to dynamic - no change in the network window.
we will have to return this router and get a different brand/model if it won't work in this fashion.
i can connect to the internet through wi-fi before. but recently unable to connect to the wifi (probably after a cousin of mine insert a pen drive usb to my laptop. is it something to do with the setting in my laptop? what can i do about that?
View 1 Replies View RelatedToday I got the Win 7 virus on my laptop and did a system restore under safe mode and downloaded malwarebytes via pen drive from another computer and did the full scan and nothing came up. Computer is now showing nonsigns of the virus but Internet is unable to connect to the wireless. My regular virus protection isn't working well either, it won't let me scan my computer and real-time scanning keeps turning off after I set it on.

After I followed the steps detailed in the link, instead of saying "detecting network type," the loading bar says "waiting for the network..." and after about 30 seconds, it disappears and nothing happens.I can connect to my router by directly connecting it with an Ethernet cord without a problem. And I know that the laptop is capable of connecting to a wireless network. I was able to connect to a nearby neighbors unsecured wifi, however it was with a very slow connection due to the distance and weak signal. It will just not connect to my own.

The router can take upto 4 laptops and this one will be the third so itis not a question of to many.All the other laptops can conect to the router when the pass key is put in but this computer will not. This computer will connect to other networks but not the one at home. When i put the pass key that it asks into the computer it says that it is not the right one. I called my internet service provide and we changed the WEP key but i am still getting the same error code. One weired thing I noticed that psp shows only 8 digit WEP key while my key is 10 digit. I don't know why psp doesn't show the 10 digit key. Also, the same issue happend 6 months ago and i was told psp network is closed as people ids have been stolen so i returned my psp and it seems i will have to return it again.

A router (Netgear wgt624v3) is connected to the internet. My smartphone and every other wireless device I tested is able to connect to it but not my laptop. My laptop is able to connect to any other wireless network. I can however get acces to the web using an ethernet cable plugged into the router.
I already installed the newest driver for my wireless network card (Atheros AR5B93 Wireless Network Adapter) and I already upgraded the router to the newest firmware. I also disabled every security including the built in firewall. The strangest thing is that I can actually find the SSID of the network, I just cannot connect to it.
FYI: I use windows 7 64bit, laptop type is Packard Bell LM86
I have a desktop computer which is connected to the router by cable, but when this computer is on I can't connect to the wireless network with any other devices.When I turn the main computer off though I can connect fine with any wireless device.

I tried fixing it the next day, and even though there were full bars, it wouldn't connect to the network. I restarted my router multiple times and nothing. So, after a fit of anger and messing with different settings on my computer. For some reason, I was able to connect to the internet 2 or 3 times over the past week for about 10-15 minutes before it would disconnect me for the rest of the day.. So, I'm honestly so stumped. I thought maybe it might have just been my router, but I'm at my dad's house now and I'm not able to connect to his network, either. I might need to go ahead an order a new wireless adapter, but neither of us are that well with computers/networking. I'm hooked up via Ethernet cord which seems to be working fine, but my wireless is only able to read and not actually connect. (On occasion it will actually connect to the internet, but when it does I can't actually access the internet)I've tried uninstalling my wireless adapter, disabling/enabling it, a bunch of weird commands that I don't even know what they do (.. probably shouldn't have messed with those), stopping/restarting services, etc.

I recently got wireless internet in my apartment but am having trouble connecting to it. The other computers in the apartment are having no trouble. The network appears in the wireless networks list, but after I enter the network key it just loads with the "waiting for network" message until it times out. I can connect to other wireless networks. It takes a long time to connect to these other networks but eventually does, My computer is super old, but since I can connect to wireless I feel like the computer is not the issue.

For wired workstations: bridged DSL modem->wireless Linksys E900 router->Dell PowerConnect 2824 switch->2 modular 4-port jacks->individual workstations For wireless: bridged DSL modem->wireless Linksys E900 router->workstations The workstations were set up to pick up IP addresses automatically.After an infrastructure upgrade where we added some Cat6 cables and swapped the modular jacks for a patch panel, we lost all connectivity. I restored the connectivity to the wired workstations by assigning IP addresses. But we have no wireless and I cannot access the router GUI at its IP address (even when plugged directly into the router). All the workstations show the default gateway as 192.168.10.1, so I don't know what's going on.
