I just updated my F5D8233-4 ver 3000 router with the latest firmware. Now only one of the hardwired ports works (#1) and it causes the router trouble enough sometimes to make it disconnect from the cable modem. All the wifi connections (5 of them) work well and do not appear to cause any trouble. What can I do?

My internet used to work just fine, but after I reinstalled my OS a couple of months ago I started having a funny problem. My internet will randomly stop working, I'll visit facebook, check a blog, and then i'll try to check my email and the page won't load. Then my internet won't work again until I reset my computer. The weirdest part is that Windows acts there's nothing the matter. The little icon in the notification bar still says it's connected and if I click repair, windows tells me there's nothing to repair. My wife has a different laptop and she's still able to access the internet fine after I've been kicked off. I've checked for a router firmware update and it's up to date. I bought a usb wireless-n adapter thinking my laptop's adapter might be bad and that didn't work. I considering buying a new router, but I'm not confident that will solve the problem since my wife's internet is still fine and because my internet works again when I reset, so it's not like the router is blocking my IP right?

I've set a static IP address as both 192.168.2.10 and 192.168.2.111, and attempted a dynamic IP address. The port forwarding page via 192.168.2.1 in the browser looks like this, with the Private IP Adress changed to whatever corresponding IP address I have set (checked with cmd /ipconfig).
After testing with multiple online port checking tools, the ports remain closed.
I'm trying to manually set up port forwarding for my Vulkano Lave media server, but my just purchased AC 900gb (model # F9k1117v2) won't take the inputs completely. I need 2 TCP ports one is 49177, the other is 56123, and one UDP for 56123. How do I successfully put in these numbers into port forwarding? Is their a plug and play setting I can use?

The report came back with the following TCP ports being open on the Concentrator 3000 - 80, 443, 1723, 10000, 10001, 10002, 10003, 10004, and 10009. Router 1 is main modem router, which is connected to 2 pcs and 2 wif routers (wired separately), both of these wifi routers have there own ip address and dchp turned off, so they work fine and broadcast wifi nicely. now what i want to do is connect another wifi router to one of these routers (not the main one) but what setting do i need? i tried to connect the 3rd wifi router with the same setting as per the other two ie diff ip and dchp off, but when i plugged it into the port of the second router it would not show as connected or get an internet connection. Its probably quite simple to sort out, but with me being a dimwit i am tering my air out. If i could not use a wifi router for this 3rd connection, is there any other way of putting an extra 4 ports on to my second stage router.
