Connecting Wireless Projector And Old Audio Mixer
Feb 13, 2013I am trying to hook up a wireless projector and connect an old audio mixer to my Laptop wireless and in sync so that I can operate the projector video and audio from my laptop anywhere in the room. I have a 30' by 60' sanctuary in my church an old audio mixer hooked up to key board, mics and speakers and one cordless mic. I am considering purchasing a Epson Powerlite 96W Projector and the optional wireless LAN module but wondered if there was a way to hook up a Epson EX7210 projector wireless as it does not accept the optional wireless LAN module. Also we currently have a great singer and no musicians so I am trying to find church presentation software that would include lyrics, background effects and music to accompany our singer.

The rest of the time I switch over to a tethered 4G connection, having to change the proxy configuration in my browser(s). I use both IE and Firefox. I know that the laptop connects to both networks simultaneously, but the Ethernet connection is given priority when connected. Is there a way to have say my Firefox browser configured to use the tethered connection using no proxy, while simultaneously having my IE use the Ethernet connection with the proxy configuration?

Jan 28, 2012However, my 13" Macbook (running Lion) sometimes finds if hard to connect after I turn it on. I will have to continously turn off and on the wifi of the macbook to have it force to look at wifi networks. It will not be able to see also other wifi networks which are present in my neighbors which my windows 7 and other machines can see. After playing around with it I found that the macbook will connect to wifi only after I connect it momentarily via cable. I do this everytime I turn on my macbook.I just upgraded to a Macbook Pro running on Lion and the same thing happened. I tried the same solution of connecting first via cable but to my disappointment, would not see any wifi network including my neighbor's which again the other machines can see. So I am stuck with using cable for now.

Sep 1, 2011I have Vista SP2 and sometimes I can connect to some WiFis, but now I've had this problem to connect already with two different WiFis. First one was a shared WiFi in a residential house. That I solved by exporting and importing the wireless profile from the landlord's computer. This time even this solution failed me. Having imported the wireless profile in my new shared house, it asks for a password and accepts it, but then it says: "can't connect to UPC...". If I click "diagnose the problem" it concludes with "Wireless authentication failed because of a timeout"
Steps taken so far: I have now deleted all pre-existing wireless profiles from this computer -> no change
ISP: UPC (in Ireland), ADSL broadband Anti-Virus: just free version of AVG Atheros AR5007EG Wireless Network Adapter
