trying to connect to router configuration (after several factory resets) at 192.168.0.1 but each time screen displays invalid username / password,doesnot even display username / password window,using admin as username and password,just cannot log on to configuration setup
we are running 1140's and 1130's in autonymous mode and seeing a TON of requests for passwords on IOS devices where we have an open network.
This typically happens when we things are busy in the space.
All other non IOS devices do connect, and most IOS devices connect after a considerable amount of time.
I have the port numbers but do not know how to proceed from there. Router is a WRT160N V2.

I cannot open Internet Explorer and Internet Options does not open from Control Panel. I followed other suggestions I found on your forum and on the net but nothing works. I cannot access the internet in any way (on that computer) and therefore cannot even supply you with a HiJack file. I tried several restore points and the only malware pgm on that computer is MalmareBytes (which found nothing). I cannot even run a anti-virus scan because that is no longer running - which is the reason I brougth her computer to my house in the first place. After several attempts of trying to open IE some times it stays open for a few seconds but most times it just flashes, then closes.

View 6 Replies View RelatedI have always been using internet explorer and have never had any trouble opening up web sites. However this week trouble has started when using a stock trading site. When I open up the "Home Page" of IG Index this opens in full no problem. But when I then click on the tab to open up the trading section section this opens but not fully. The tool bar across the top but the main body of the page, the frame, is blank. I have tried internet options, deleting history etc and disc clean up but to no avail. Have also tried system restore but no good. Have soken ti IG Index and they suggest changing from Internet Explorer to Firefox as my browser. I dont really want to do this as I am not a computer buff and I can see all sorts of complications arising if I change to Fire Fox

I am currently hardwired via ethernet to the new cable modem (arris cm820) while I wait for my wireless router to arrive.The internet appears to be working fine (good speed), however, it stalls without fail every 3 minutes. It will freeze and no pages will open (FYI, it does not open a "you are not connected to the internet" page, it simply just sits there trying to load any and all pages). After about 5 minutes, the pages will suddenly load and the internet will work fine for another 3 minutes. Then, it will freeze all over again. Rinse and repeat. When this happens, the modem shows no physical signs of disconnection (all lights are on as normal) and network diagnostics on the mac shows that that the ethernet is still connected as well.I tried calling Time Warner and all they could say is that it "looks fine from our end, watch it for 24 hours and call back." So basically they knew nothing.

Our connection's name is LINKSYS and is WEP.Once i have connected to the internet, it will continue to work fine for a while. After some random time, it will disconnect.(The computer stays connected to the wireless modem, but computer shows NO INTERNET CONNECTIVITY (in bottom-right taskbar))Then in 5-6 seconds, it will start working again... View 6 Replies View RelatedI am trying to open up certain ports to host multiplayer games on the internet on my computer and on Xbox 360.The only internet service provider is primecast. I am able to open the ports on my router but the ports still show closed using portforward.com portchecker. I disabled all firewalls and Anti-Virus, no luck. I even connected my computer directly to the modem, the ports are still closed. The Router is a Linksys WRT400N set to single band. The modem is an Alcatel although there is no model number (it has a fiber optic connection, coax connection and 2 ethernet port connections). The condo is cat 5 ready so the router has multiple ethernet cables which go to the ethernet wall plugs throughout the apartment which is how I connect to my desktop.
FYI:One of the games I am trying to play online IL2 1946, people simply cannot connect.In another game Company of Heroes, people cannot connect and I cannot connect to most games it says there is a NAT issue when connecting.
PS When I go into ipconfig I now see IPv4 and IPv6, I don't know if that has something to do with it but to my knowledge these sections were not here previously (before I moved).

I boot up my computer. I close it over. come back later. open it. Computer will connect but with the small yellow triangle. Thing is though, it's only my computer that ever has issues with my internet connection. My sisters laptop has never had an issue with out internet. Yet my laptop is able to connect to the neighbors internet fine. The solution to my problem almost all of the time is to simply reboot my computer, which solves the problem(most of the time). But i'm getting so sick of having to do it. The other times when a reboot doesn't work I have to manually reset the internet. As i'm typing this I'm on my neighbors internet. my sister is connected fine to our internet but my laptop simply won't work with it so i'll have to reset it when i'm finished this Some useful information might be that this problem only started happening ever since my computer got wiped.I've tried updating the drivers but apparently they're up to date.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI have small business server 2003 setup as a DC and did not install exchange, i use hosted exchange. i am trying to setup vpn and have opened port 1723 on both of my router. my network routes through a wireless router(192.168.1.1) (port 1723 forwarded to .1.104) to a second wireless router (192.168.2.1) to my server with two nic cards (.2.2 - external and .2.103 - internal) (port 1723 forwarded to .2.2) i can telnet 192.168.2.2 1723, .2.103, .1.104 - my ip of my second router handed by the first router. my server in handling dhcp and it is disabled on my .2 router. I CAN NOT telnet my public ip handed to 1.1 from the ISP(my internet IP). it tries for about 30 secs and dies.

Lately, I'd say for about the past 3 months, after I start up my computer, I open my mail (windows live) and I open an internet browser, either "IE" or "Firefox"... Mail opens and receives no problem... my internet connection is fine... (have trouble shot all of that), but the internet will not open... It looks like it is going to start, then nothing... no message, not a thing. So I reboot and it opens... very odd no rhyme of reason for it, simply works fine one day and not another... I can't find any info. on the internet about this problem and no one I know has ever heard of it... Yes, I've run all the scans and checks with no viruses/spam, etc. detected... I'm using AVG free and Malawarebytes... was using Windows Security Essentials when is started... I have also scanned the computer in safe mode and no problems detected.

I would like to add a redundant supervisor blade to the 6509 that is in production. Can this be done plug and play and require no reload. Are all WS-SUP720-3B the same as far as memory etc... or can I buy any used WS-SUP720-3B and it will work properly.
