Now the printer is working fine. BUT... Now that computer is having internet problems. It connects to the internet fine but some programs say it doesn't. Like Microsoft Outlook. A message always shows up saying "Must work offline" or something. And I cant listen to some things on the internet because a message comes up saying you must connect to the internet.

Jul 27, 2011I had the router working fine then last night for some reason it dropped 2-3 (all of them currently on) internet, while online.I can connect wireless just fine to the router but get no internet, when i plugged into the router directly i still go internet, but when i connect the modem directly into the laptop i get internet so it is not the modem. I have tried to reboot the router and modem to no avail.i can access the routers page wirelessly and change stuff but just don't get any internet and the signal strength is excellent.

Now when i try to connect to the internet it shows that no networks are available. This problems goes away when I use my wireless adapter and it can find my network name fine and I can connect to the internet. I want to be able to use my computer wireless without any usbs since it goes faster and I also use plenty of usb so I dont have the ability to always use a usb for my wireless adapter. I think the problem might be connected to me connecting my xbox 360 manually setting the ip address default gateway etc.

Nov 4, 2012So my old dell computer cannot connect to wireless internet, so it is connected to a Netgear internet bridge box. The other bridge box is in the basement where it is connect to the modem. I believe the location of the other box is almost directly below were my computer stand (and bridge box) used to be.I recently I moved it to different corner of my house that is about 15 feet further than the previous location. Now the wired internet speed is almost unbearable and inconsistent. The wireless speed is the same, but wired is really bad. I believe it is because the bridge boxes are further away from each other.I've tried unplugging and replugging, resetting, and etc.I would really like to know how I can fix this without moving the computer back since the furniture is in a really nice place and the computer would ruin the look.

Before and after restoring the original os, however, I still have not been able to connect to the internet through the onboard lan that doesn't seem to be active or even be seen by the computer. How should I fix this? Is there a possibility that the internal lan was disabled mechanically? Or would I have to get a pci lan card? as I have been trying to get this computer to work properly for the last 4 weeks. Also, before I restored the os, I put a pci lan card in but it still would not recognize that there was an internet connection when I would connect it to an active ethernet connection. I'm worried that I still will not be able to connect when I get a new pci lan card because of unknown reasons that I have been trying to figure out for quite some time now.
