I bought a f3507 WWAN card on ebay which is a re-branded dell 5530 card. It is recognized in device manager on in vista on my dell latitude z600 computer but the dell drivers don't work.

The Dell Mobile Broadband Utility (DMBCU) now reports an APPCRASH upon launch only when Windows Internet Explorer 8 (IE8) is installed. I'm certain it is due to IE8 and probably the required MeadCo Zeepe add-ins that are required for dmbcu.exe functionality. Upon uninstallation of IE8, the dmbcu.exe works flawlessly.
Is there any update or plan to update the DMBCU for the 5720 VZW minicard?
I currently have a 4 year old Dell XPS M1530 that recently died due to an rough impact. About to buy a new Dell XPS 15 and was wondering if I can easily swap my Sprint Mobile Broadband Card between the two. And if so would I only need to download a new driver for it? I am currently grandfathered in with Unlimited Data on my current card plan and I would hate to have to get a new one requiring a new contract with Limited Data.

View 1 Replies View RelatedMy wireless network card is not detected by the system and wont show up in device manager. the green light on the back of the card is still blinking, so it is getting power through the mobo. Wireless network card was working perfectly before swapping out my video card for a new 7850 and swapping out my RAM modules. The drivers are Up to date. I'm running windows 7 and the wireless network card is an atheros AR5005GS.
I don't understand why installing new RAM and a new video card would affect this?? I didn't touch that card, and have double checked it is still seated properly.
I have no other way currently to connect this computer to the Internet.
We have a Netgear N600 hookedup to DSL line.
1. Now can't watch Netflix movies through Sony bluray or on computer.
2. Takes an hour to bring up documents to print.

The software (Dell Mobile Broadband Utility Help) says " Choose Network Selection from the Settings Menu. Select AT&T and click Load." Unfortunately, Network selection is not an option.

I'm currently relocating, so I unplugged my laptop from the Ethernet connection I had at my old place.At two different locales, I have tried to use an Ethernet connection in order to get better speed (the wireless at the first locale was non-existent and at the second it is extremely slow in my room). I have done so with two separate cables that I have tested on others' computers and found that they are perfectly fine. Everything under Device Manager indicates that the hardware is working properly and has all of its drivers installed, but nothing is working.I have tried to uninstall and re-install the drivers (albeit by allowing windows to find them automatically), but the result is the exact same.I have checked the port and found that there is no debris or obstructions. My computer hasn't been dropped or mishandled in any way.

I can't install the WIFI-/LAN-Driver for my Latitude D620. I tried both drivers which are available on the dell website:
Dell Wireless 1395 WLAN MiniCard
Dell (R) Wireless WiFi Link 4965AGN
When I try to install the first one I got the failure message "BASS_REL_5_6 456".I am able to install the second one, but I still got the message, that the WIFI-/LAN-Hardware is uninstalled. Therefore I still can't access to the internet with this computer.
I have a Inspiron 1520 which came with windows Vista and I recently did a Windows 7 clean installation. There were no drivers specified for Windows 7 in Dell Driver Download so I installed Vista drivers, connected to internet via LAN Cable and upgraded most of the drivers.
WiFI networks could be detected when installed for the first time but after a shutdown it never detects again. Sometimes it randomly detects, I tried using the laptop for 2 weeks now and only 2 times the WiFI automatically came up.
There is a switch to pull after turning on WiFI radio, which will display the list of WiFi networks in a window, that Switch is not responding now.
i have installed Ubuntu 12.04 LTS on my Inspiron 1520 (Clean installation). The OS is working fine and most of the Drivers are working properly. The Wireless LAN is installed but the sometimes wireless networks are not detecting until the computer and access point are restarted several times. My Bluetooth was working even when i upgraded to Windows 7. After a while it stopped. I tried installing back with the Installation CD but whenever the software asks me to "Activate Bluetooth with the wireless button" on my computer, it never continues. i dont know where the problem could be from again. i've tried all i know.
