Lost Internet Connection While Downloading Files Over The Wifi (adsl)

I have a wire ADSL connection and I use ADSL WiFi enabled router for distribute my internet connection with in my other devices (on my home network). When I downloading large files (more than 30MB) over the internet using my WiFi connection, my connection drop several times. However if I exchange large files within my WiFi network (with in home network via WiFi), my WiFi connection not drop (I can exchange 6GB files without any issue). Why is that? Is it my router issue or my ADSL connection issue? Most of the time after I lost internet connection, i can see my WiFi connectivity standby, it's not disconnect. However some time it completely disconnect. After I lost the connection (standby or completely disconnected) it again automatically connect.
I face this issue if i download large files on the internet, via the WiFi, if i download large files on internet using Ethernet cable, my connection not drop, it's stable. I use default wireless settings on my router? I use open WiFi connection.
I am using my ADSL Internet Connection especially for downloading files those past few months.I have even purchased an account at filesonic.However,the speed remain the same except that there are no waiting period and I can download multiple files at the same time.What are the tips for increasing downloading time? I am now using the latest 5.0 Firefox and Windows 7 and using or not using the download them all add-ons does not add much to the download time.
What about the telephone line cable? The position of the beetel modem, does that play a role in speed limit? Are there some hardware equipment that can cause a subsequent increase in download speed?
whenever i try to download anything it currupts all the files its nothing to do with RAM or virus or malware as ive had 5 other peoples laptops in my hiouse and it only does it while connected to my internet as theres works perfect else where and ive just been out and bought an o2 dongle and it works fine downloads everything perfect.this ios the errors i get when trying to install winrar:

Currently im on a 60mb download speed and 6mb upload speed on an Alienware M15x (Windows 7) and attempting to re-download World of Warcraft... Every time I open World of Warcraft to continue the download it will disconnect all sources from the router (I'm downloading via wireless) including the wired connection through the computer in the other room. Its really annoying everyone when were attempting to download and disconnects people...
Last Sunday, I put lots of music files into usb storage, a external harddrive linked to EA4500. which is WD element 3T.Last Wednesday, I re-organize file folders. And then yesterday(Friday), I found all my files were lost.
-E4200 connected via Ethernet cable (100Mbs) to local ISP for internet access -E4200 connected via Ethernet cable (1Gps) to my desktop PC -E4200 connected via wireless (5Ghz with WPA2 personal) to my laptop
In general, everything works fine, I can download files from internet to my PC close to the maximum speed limit (80-90Mbs), the wireless connection goes up to 300Mbs and it can achieve around 10-14MB/s file transfer between PC and laptop.A lot of the time the wireless connection to my laptop is used for HD content streaming from the desktop PC. It works very well until I start downloading files to my PC with speed greater than 50Mbs, when the wireless connection speed drops very fast to about 500KB/s which results in interruptions on the video streaming. At the same time the router’s web interface reacts much slower than usual, as if the router’s CPU is overloaded.
I’ve read this follow up review on Small net builder url...and it’s clear that there are some issues when taking E4200 to the limit, but in my case it’s nowhere near that.
I downloaded the HOSTS file from winhelp2002.mvps.org, hoping it would better my security. However, now some pictures that used to show either show the "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage." or just have the X box thing. I'm guessing this problem results from the new HOSTS file. What should I do? Should I revert to my old file? If so, then how can I do this?
What is the config.,which I can suggest my Bandwidth provider,so that my heavy files and small files should be downloaded at the same speed?y problem is that my bandwidth limit is 2 M.B.P.S. but I start getting drops as I start downloaded heavy files like 300 M.B. My Bandwidth provider told me that the only solution is that rate-limit will be increased. But it will be of Higher cost. Any configuration is there so that the same can be resolved without increasing Bandwidth.
I have an RVS4000, and have been unable to update my iPad with the new iOS verison because the download of the update file keeps timing out. The file actually gets to the end of the download, but then times out before completion.
My RVS4000 is being used in gateway mode and is connected to another cable modem. When I connect my computer directly to the cable modem, the download completes without issue.
I've turned the IPS off.My patience is running out, as I've tried just about everything (firmware update, reboot, signature update, etc.). When I contact support, they want me to pay $79 to open a ticket. The router costs $120.
My ADSL light switches off randomly during downloading a 100mb file. I just cannot complete the download. This has been happening ever since I switched my router to a wireless iBall Baton 150M.
i just recently went back to the work force and i needed to get a laptop connected to the office router..but we didnt know the password.4 hours later all we managed to do it get knocked off line on the directly connected pc..i was disgusted with the people...but i also noticed then when the typed in the ip address in the search bar it would not pull up the Admin box..it just pulled up a search result.We changed the ethernet cords back n forth..just a real mess while speaking with them.
i want to know suppose i have two internet connection and i want to merge both connection ...one of my friend told mi yes it is possible but you need router ...so is it possible
Just had a new wifi usb adapter delivered today and tried to connect my desktop pc from my room to the bt home hub 2.0 in the kitchen. This is only 13meters max to walk and 10m if going through 2 or 3 walls. I installed the ralink drivers and plugged in the adapter which my computer then installed fine. It will pick up some networks including mine which i managed to connect to but only at a very low rate. Not after very long the connection will disappear and so will all the other houses networks. If i then pull it out and plug it in again they appear again for a short while?
I use my parents packard bell netbook in my room and it works fine. It could well be the case that this adapter was pretty cheap from amazon and you get what you pay for..

I am actually able to have fun surfing on the Net with this toy computer, provided I don't expect to watch videos or listen to music or download anything. I bought it for a few Euros in France where it is known as the "SurfOne mini PC Ref. INOS1CE"; I think it is the same as the Chinese "OEM mini laptop netbook". It has a 7" screen, a 2 MB memory and claims to run on Windows CE 6.0.My problem is that after successfully connecting via WiFi to my "Orange Livebox" modem and router for a few days, I then lost that connection and can connect now only by cable.When I turn on WiFi power, it recognizes the "Livebox", but then states that it is not receiving any signal and the connection fails. How to restore WiFi.
went to uninstall the other two and then went to install our new one on the main computer.I have now lost connection with the wifi to this pc and only this one. (the internet still works on two laptops) unfortunately i need this computer for work and therefore need the internet quite urgently. Perhaps uninstalled something by accident and if so what is it and what can i download?

Often during day, on pc and iphone we have lost connection, we can see in settting the SSID of my wifi lan, but if we try to connect recive message:Unable to connect to casa(casa is my ssid), on router the wifi led is green fix (not blinking) and only after a few minutes or many try wifi return aviable (for all equipments at the same time and the wifi led blinking)If I want quick connection, without attempt, i simply power off router and after power on, the wifi connection begin aviable!
1. changed SSID, very different from other SSID of my neighbors;
2. changed class of ip address (from 192.168.x.x. to 10.16.x.x);
I set up the e1500 and everything worked well, my download speed over the wifi was something like 50mps, now its down to .3 mps over the wifi. When I'm hardwired to the router the speed goes back up and everything is fine. The only problem is the wifi. Its not the ISP because my roommates aren't having a problem with their wifi at all. I haven't changed anything on my computer except updated some drivers since I set up the router. My network card drivers are up to date and so is the router's drivers. I'm also doing all this about 5 feet away from the router.
I'm having issue with wireless connection on Belkin router F5D7633-4.Every 1-2 days my router disconnect and reconnect for no apparent reasons. When this happens, it affects it's wifi. All the devices in my house couldn't connect via wireless to this router. The only way to get these devices connected is to manually reboot the router.Do you know how to allow the router to allow many devices connected at same time?

My WRT54G lost the WiFi connection. I can get the internet if I connect the cable from my modem to my computer but my wireless connection is gone. So it's an issue with the router or settings. I called Linksys and was told the settings would have to be reset/updated. I was told there would e a fee. I did not want to pay a fee. I'd like to try to resolve myself.
I bought a new EA3500 too replace my old WRT120N. After I replace it with the same configuration as I had in WRT120N, my dongle Wifi WN100 (Atheros) stop working. Even it indicates that Wifi is connected and dispyed in DHCP current table, I can't ping the device from my PC connected to the router.I rolled back to my WRT120N and all works again.
Over the past few days I've been having a problem with my internet connection.
I connect to my home wifi network and will have excellent signal strength, but after about 20 minutes or so, I will lose internet access, but will stay connected to my wifi network. If I join my neighbor's wifi network I will have the same issue.I will connect to a network, and while still connected, I will suddenly lose internet access (signal strength will remain the same). Switching networks doesn't correct the problem.
When I lose internet, I can disconnect from the network and reconnect mere seconds later and will have the internet access back again.I have reset the modem/router and my computer numerous times but the problem does not go away.
When I try to connect to the internet I get IE cannot dislay the webpage. All connections show that they are working fine. I did the repair option for my LAN, it states that it is working & shows that it's connected.I tried to sign into MSN & got no connection. My computer is part of domain.I have one LAN connection. I was trying to browse the internet earlier, and I randomly just lost my internet connection. My homepage loaded up just fine, but then I tried to go to another site. It was taking a while to load. After about a minute a page finally came up that said "Server not found" (I use firefox). I can't get on any websites now and I can't get internet on any of my wireless devices either. When I right clicked my network icon on the toolbar and clicked on diagnose and repair it said "There may be a problem with the DNS. Windows attempted to find the well known host www.microsoft.com using dns. The server responded that the name was unknown." I have Windows Vista. Now I have no idea what I could have done. I dont have an internet connection through my computer. This one tells me error 106. I have 3 computers hooked through the same router. So, I know I have internet, as I am writing this now. But for some reason, that computer is now telling me I lost the internet connection. I have tried unplugging everything, restarting the computer, and nothing has worked. I dont know how to get the internet back on that computer.
Whenever I restart or boot my computer, it loses internet connection (Local Area Connection Unplugged). Implement the procedures required so that machine 1 and machine 2 can communicate statically with one another. Outline the TCP/IP settings to be used on each of the machines and set this machine up accordingly.
I followed this guide [TUT] Setting a static internal IP (Windows and Linux)but what has happened is that now the two machines can't connect to the internet.
I have just turned my PC on to find that i have lost connection to the internet through my desktop PC. I am using the wired connection to my router, and i also have my xbox connected to the router which is working ok too. My laptop also works when connecting to the router both wired and wirelesly.
My network adaptor on my desktop is a Nvidia nForce, i have tried updating the driver on this to no avail. Next i tried to ping the router but i get PING Transmit faild, error code 1231. I ran IPCONFIG /all and found that i had no default gateway set, and also it was saying that the ethernet adaptor was : Media Unoperational, but since i rebooted both the pc and router the media unoperational tag has gone.
On the network and sharing page it shows i am connected to an unidenfied network but there is a cross through the internet. It also says the access and Connection for the unitentified network are Local only.
I no longer have internet access from my home network ONLY on my desktop computer. Everything was working fine as always - then while I was in my Network and Sharing Center, and clicked on my ethernet connection, 'Local Area Connection 3', I accidentally disabled it. No big deal I thought, so I re-enabled the connection. Except for some reason, my connection is all screwed up now. The name of this connection was and always has been 'dkm2' and now it just says 'Network', with no internet access. I have unplugged the cord and plugged it into this laptop and it immediately recognizes 'dkm2' and connects flawlessly, so I know the problem is on the desktop computer's end, and not the cable or router. I have tried reinstalling the ethernet adapter, as well as reinstalling/updating all drivers for it.The network diagnostic tool turns up with a message that says the connection between either my ethernet adapter or router and the Internet is broken. No matter what I seem to try, I can't get my connection to go back to it's normal 'dkm2' connection and stop giving me a generic, disconnected 'Network'. I can't figure out what could have changed. All that happened was the disabling and enabling of Local Area Connection 3.
