I have a dlink DWA130 wireless N adapter connected and working. But AOL Dialup takes over. When disconnecting the phone line for AOL, there is no internet connection. The adapter is connected and has great signal strength. What can I do to make the wireless adapter work independently from AOL dialup?

I recently bought a Polk 6000 soundbar that has a wireless subwoofer.Whenever I try to stream netflix wirelessly to my tv I keep losing the netflix service. I had no problems with streaming before connecting the soundbar.I have been reading customer reviews on the soundbar and many have suggested to bring up the router's configuration screen and change the channel setting. Currently both are set for channel one. I have uverse 12mbps. How would I go about changing the channel? and will this cause any problems with my other wireless devices in the house?
I've hot connection issues with my wireless Mac keyboard for a while. I've brought the computer in to Apple to see if the problem lied there. They replaced the Bluetooth adapter, and I got a new keyboard, but I still have the same problem. I've moved the router as far from the computer as possible (but it's not that far). Since the E3000 is dual band, I'm wondering if the 2.4 GHz channel is interfering? My friend has a Bluetooth keyboard and a wireless router on his system, and he never has connection issues.
View 2 Replies View RelatedWhenever I connect to my router via wireless, It slows the network to a crawl, and I can't view websites through the same PC.Now, It only started a few days ago, and I can't find the root cause. This happens in Windows 7, however, it works in Linux with the same PC, in the same location, so it can't be the wireless card going bad. When the computer isn't online, however, everyone other connection, including smartphones, my wife's laptop, PS3, all work. I've tried updating the drivers, flushing the dns, resetting the winsock, ip release/renew, haven't found anything that works.
I've also run numerous virus scans, malware, spyware, and registry scans. The only thing I can think of is something is trying to send a lot of traffic to the router. So far, Malware Bytes, Avast, AVG, and Spybot haven't picked up anything, and I can't find the traffic leak via Windows Firewall or Comodo.
OS: Windows 7 Home Premium
Wireless Card: Asus USB-N13 using Ralink drivers
The only thing I haven't tried is connecting through my ethernet card, but it's not feasible at the moment to move the desktop to the router.

One-to-One NAT statement in edge router:
# ip nat inside source static <inside local ip> <inside global ip>
Packets destined for our branch offices across IPsec Site-to-Site VPNs, originating from the above inside local IP, change their source address (at the edge router) to the above inside global IP, forwarding traffic destined to branch to our ISPs gateway, instead of over the VPN tunnel.
After establishing a remote IPsec VPN connection, via Cisco VPN Client, I am able to ping the inside local IP specified above with no issues (the router sends the traffic sourced from the above inside local IP before applying the One-to-One NAT statement).
Relevant configuration:
Remote VPN ACL:
ip access-list extended REMOTE_VPN_ACL
permit ip <ip local pool subnet> 0.0.0.255 any
permit ip 10.10.0.0 0.0.7.255 any
Site-to-Site VPN ACL:
ip access-list extended SITE-TO-SITE_VPN_ACL
permit ip 10.10.0.0 0.0.7.255 10.10.12.0 0.0.0.255
permit ip 10.10.12.0 0.0.0.255 10.10.0.0 0.0.7.255

If I remove the One-to-One NAT statement, both the Site-to-Site VPN and Remote VPNs can communicate with the relevant inside local IP. With the One-to-One NAT statement active, only the Remote VPN can communicate successfully (as the NAT statement change the packets source address to the inside global IP).
Why is the One-to-One NAT statement only applying to packets destined for our Site-to-Site VPNs, and what is the appropriate way to prevent this?
I moved to a remote area where I cannot get DSL or Broadband. I can however get Dial up, like earthlink and Netzero. Before I signup for one of these services, I would like to know if there is any way to make my dialup a wireless conection for my laptops. I like to move around using the computer, I hate being at a desk having to sit there and not be able to move where I want.I have a modem that I used for my old dsl connection. Will this work?

The IPS service provider said to plug the computer directly into the phone jack without using the splitter which is a plug that has two openings(1 for phone and 1 for the computer in the event that the splitter is bad) I tried this and as soon as a connection is made about a minute later I'm disconnected again. That was some time ago and now I have a new laptop with Windows 7 ?I have to mention that I do not have wireless connections. I have an o2 modem and an ethernet cable. They are the only two connections that show up in my internet connections. The LAN connection has an image of a ethernet cable connection while the o2 connection has an image of a phone.whenever I watch youtube walk throughs it never looks like my set up. Ive tried everything over and over. Turning off UAC, turning on sharing but nothing has worked yet. When I just select the LAN connection and right click there is an option to Bridge. When I right click the o2 connection its not there. When I select both the option isnt there either.

View 9 Replies View RelatedI have another odd issue (I get those alot) I have an asterisk box that moves around between 2 IPs, thus the dial-peers are unpredictable as to their target IP. They work as the dial-peer will eventually (after 1 min) time out and go to the other dial peer, but waiting 1 min sucks, and it's a tiny network, 5-10 sec would be WAY more than enouph. Does anyone know off hand a way to get them to time out faster?
