I recently bough a belkin router (Share N300) but it just wont connect to the internet.My setup is as follows:ADSL -> Modem -> Router -> PCThe internet works fine when I connect it directly to my PC (via the modem), and other PCs too.So no issue of MAC address lockdown.I've tried connecting through static mode with the data from ipconfig /all, but it still doesn't work.I've even installed DD WRT and Tomato to no avail.

I have recently purchased a Belkin n300 wireless N router. The problem is, I have to reboot the thing numerous times throughout the day to allow a client to connect to it via wireless. One client will be connected and then drop, or a client will be connected, and I cannot connect another device. I also had an issue with streaming over wireless for netflix on my devices and the only way I could get it to work was to turn off the firewall, what the hek.... This is crap. I knew I should not have bought a belkin router again. Had one years ago and it constantly gave me issues. Had my Linksys Wrt54G for years with no problems until it finally crapped out. Anyways, my firmware version is the latest version according o the website.

I can't get this tablet to connect to the server I have put in all the ssid and the name of the server. When I try to connect it says connecting, then autherizing and then it does a loop and does not ever change,keeps on doing it. In the little shell that is to change color when connected there is a very small lock showing and I am not sure just what todo about this.

I can connect it to my Nexus tablet, to my desk-top and my lap-top, so I know there is nothing wrong with the router itself. Every time I try to connect the phone, it locates the network, scans, authenticates, but then says "Disabled" and the message: "Secured with WPA/WPA2 PSK" with "locked network" symbol. What does this mean? This is on the label that came with the router: "Security Type WPA/WPA2" but I don't know what to do in order to remove the lock. The phone is a Vodafone Smart Chat and I bought it specifically to be able to connect to Wi-Fi networks.

I'm sure i've plug the cable in the right spot. And the EQ 660R ADSL router/modem is working. The belkin package came with a CD, and it's the setup program for the wireless router. but as it tried to form a connection, it said failed to connect to the modem. so does this means embarq 660 series isn't compatible with Belkin N300?

It's just one desktop pc that isn't connecting.Our internet was running slower than it should and that was because we had too many wires and so in order to speed it up we decided to use a wireless connection instead of an ethernet cable.The problem seems to be that the adapter just isn't connecting. But I'm having a problem when trying to connect to a friend on my 3DS when playing Pokemon Black Version 2. I've never had this problem before I got my N300 router. The 3DS connects to the internet without issue to download updates and shop the Nintendo store, but this in-game connection is not working.
#2: When I started using that same N300 router, suddenly my access to www.omegle.com was severely limited. It's a video chat site on which now I can no longer see the other users' video. Rarely a video will come through, by 90% of the time I just get black screens which I know I shouldn't be getting.
My SURF N300 router makes my internet signal very weak, 1/10 of what was contracted but it works perfectly with the cable connected directly to the computer, how can I configure it to work properly?

I tried logging into the router to see if there was something "choking" the connection speed, but nothing really jumped out at me. Is there a setting of some kind that could be causing this?
I do have a signal repeater since my house is so big, but there is nothing within those controls that would seem to have that kind of effect either.
We just moved into a new place a couple days ago and the cable guy (from Cox) came and hooked everything up. I tried restarting the router and the computer, but to no avail. I've also tried with another ethernet cable and tried several ports, but that did not work, either. What is interesting is that other computers in the household connect to the router via wire without problems. I suppose that means something's wrong with my computer, however, I do not know what. I have a netgear router which says "N300 Wireless ADSL2+ Modem Router DGN2200v3" on the back. My computer has Windows 7 Home Premium installed. I'm using a DSL connection, and Avast! antivirus.

Its been working great for about 3 weeks now, but yesterday when I tried to get on, it said the router had "no internet access" and I haven't been able to get it to work since.I have restarted the router, the modem, and my computer several times and reset the router to factory settings to no avail. I have connectivity to the modem if I plug ethernet cable into cable modem, but cannot get any connectivity if I plug into the wireless router and then into the cable modem. I am using a desktop computer and only use the wireless modem for my phones wi-fi.
