Feb 29, 2012I am working at a client site today. This specific client has decided to replace their legacy 2600 branch office routers with newer 1921 ISR G2 routers as they move from a Legacy Frame WAN to a MPLS network with a different provider.
The backup in the former scenario was actually an ISDN solution. Moving forward, the provider has sold them a 3G backup solution. To support this, we have purchased Cisco line cards for the 3G. The part number for the cards is "EHWIC-3G-EVDO-V=".
I was asked by the client this morning if there was a way to tell what the IMEI number for the 3G card was. I performed a shew inventory, as well as a shew hardware, but I do not see this IMEI number. I also checked the label on the packaging box that the cards came in, but do not see this number. Is there a way to tell what this number is for each card?

Apr 19, 2011I've been working on trying to get RADUIS authentication working for devices connecting to our corporate mobile APN. Out APN provider sends us Username & Password attributes which I can authenticate fine using ACS 5.2 but I'm having a problem using other attributes sent in the Access-Request. We have mobile SIM cards with an MSISDN value match with a physical device with an IMEI value. The SIM cards cannot be used in other devices, only their matched device. The provider passes us the MSISDN attribute under RADIUS-IETF 31 and the IMEI under a VSA of 3GPP-IMEI
What is the best way of being able to authenticate a user and match the MSISDN and IMEI associated to that user?

Jul 12, 2013this might sound straight forward, but every other pc or console can find and connect to my router.This issue seems to happen about once every few months, sometimes it comes back by itself and reconnects completely fine.
There isn't a "user limit" on our router.Wireless adapter is dell wireless 1505 draft 802.11n wlan mini-card.
Have restarted PC and uninstalled and reinstalled the card.I tried to set the i.p address to static but it says "adapter disconnected" so won't allow me to edit any settings, despite it being able to find neighbour's wireless very easily.
