IP Cameras Between 2 Access Point?

Jan 23, 2012

I have 2 places in a distance of <300m, so I'll call these two places Zone A, and Zone B.I have each TL-WA5210G APs in Zone A and Zone B. Also, 2 IP Cameras for each Zone A-B. In Zone A, I have the two IP cameras and my office, (so I could see what happens in my "A" zone when the signal come to a LCD located at my office), and also, I want to see what happens in my B Zone. So, I was thinking to connect the IP Cameras to my AP in Zone B, in the way that this AP sends the signal to the AP at my "A" Zone, including the cameras in this A Zone. So, I don't know how the APs need to be configured, I mean, in which operation mode. I've read that 1 must be in AP Client Router and the other only in AP.

TL WA5210G - Connecting IP Cameras To Access Point?

Jan 25, 2012

I have two locations separated by less than 300 meters. In each zone I have an Access Point and in only one zone (let's call it Zone B), I have two IP Cameras. The idea is to connect these two cameras to my AP located at Zone B, and then, send this signal to my other AP to get this cameras in a LCD. First of all, I want to know in which mode should the APs be connected, I mean, in which "Operation Mode". I have three options:

-AP Client Router
-AP Router
-AP

And if I choose AP mode:

-AP:
+ Access Point
+ Client
+ WDS Bridge
+ Repeater

PD: The APs Model: TL-WA5210G

How To Setup A Network For IP Cameras Through Internet

Oct 19, 2012

I have a set of 5 IP cameras running on a server at my shop, I am using the AXXON software to run it. When I install the Axxon Client software on my laptop on connect wirelessly while in the shop, it automatically sees the server and connects.

However, when I bring my laptop home it does not connect (obviously). Instead of the servers name (which is what it looks at while on the network) I can input an IP address instead. So I input the IP of the WAN the server is on (found via IPChicken.com) and try to connect... it does not.

Linksys Wireless Router :: RE1000 Does Not Work Well With Network Cameras

Jan 18, 2013

I have an RE1000 between my EA3500 router and two Panasonic WiFi network cameras. Sometimes the two cameras appear in the RE1000 Wireless Clients Table, sometimes one appears, and sometimes none appear. It looks like the cameras jump between the RE1000 and the EA3500. When this jump occurs, I loose connection to the cameras. If I restart the camera, it sometimes works but not always. When I disconnect the RE1000 it works OK because both cameras always use the EA3500. But the signal is very weak.

What do I need to do to get my EA3500 and RE1000 to work well with my two Panasonic network cameras?

Note that I am using 802.11b/g on the router and cameras.

(apparently as they "think" the HD is full)

This does NOT happen when only one camera is on.I even tried to record at the lowest possible quality as not to take up too much bandwidth, but problem remains.

Cisco Routers :: Rv220w Blocking Cameras On Wi-Fi?

Aug 1, 2012

I have 2 ssid signals setup at my workplace.

the 2nd one is for all guests and it's isolated from the lan+trusted(1st one) with a vlan feature.

the 1st one is for all trusted devices over wifi. the wifi channel is setup to allow mac addresses of the two asante security cameras. the cameras upload videos to an ftp on my server. the two will connect to the router at first, I can ping them or see them in 'my network'. give it a little time and they disappear. then I have to power off/on the router or the cameras to make them work for a few minutes. the process repeats.

the cameras make lots of connections to the ftp server. I'm suspecting they're flooding the router and it blocks them. occasionaly they will come back for a minute or two and disappear again as if blocked/unblocked.

I added their mac addresses in hopes of making them 'trusted' devices. I've tried them on both ssids. I checked and unchecked firewall/security checks and icsa settings. all other devices I tried, multiple phones and laptops work without problems on both ssids and they don't get blocked.
