Cannot Connect To Internet / Wireless WLAN Adapter Disconnected

So earlier today I purchased a new video card, a PNY Nvidia Gtx 560. After installing the drivers through the disc, I ended up getting he BSOD, and my PC just kept on restarting automatically. I fixed that problem, and found out that I should install the drivers for it through their website instead. So, after restarting my PC yet again, I tried using the Internet (Chrome) and found out that I have no Internet connection. Now, I am writing this on my iPad using the same router and modem that my PC is supposed to be using, but I keep on checking my WLAN adapter and it says that it is Not Connected. Now I have tried every forum, every post, EVERYTHING related to this problem and not a single thing fixes it. Also, when I do the ipconfig, everything says Media Disconnected and that's it. PS, I tried unplugging/plugging back in my modem and router PPS, Is it possible that when installing my new gcard and psu that I may have messed up with something internally?

The problem is basically that my home wifi runs from a router that renews its IP adress every hour or so, and I keep getting disconnected from the Internet for 15 mins. or so every single time and then again not always; sometimes a page fails to load and then the connection is re-established a moment afterwards - it's very random.
The odd thing is that while my desktop Pc gets disconnected for long peiods of time my PS3, phone and laptop all seem to be able to reconnect during other periods of time where the desktop is unable. Also my parents and sister seem to be disturbed in different intervals. This makes me think that besides the annoying short disconnection on every device, my wifi adapter might cause the desktop additional problems reconnecting.
I'm using a Netgear WG111 v3 adapter. I should probably note that when I was running Windows 7 it already gave me trouble installing drivers and I had to run compatibility mode for Vista, and now with Windows 8 Pro 64-bit I had even more trouble, installer crashing and me having to manually go to the Device Manager and search for the install data for the driver. It's only been causing me problems since I bought it and though it works as I write this there is no way for me to know if it goes offline again or not in the next second.
I've recently reformatted my Pc and that didn't change a thing in this context and I've also been in contact with my Internet provider (the largest of such in Denmark, where I live), and they are the ones that told me that the router needs to reaquire a new IP every now and then for security reasons.

I have a Dell Inspiron Laptop with Windows 7 and a PC with XP. The Laptop has Dell Wireless 1397 WLAN mini-card, i think it supports 802.11g. My PC has DLINK DWA 525 PCI WIRELESS card, this supports 802.11g and n. The wireless router is Belkin Surf Wireless Router (F7D2301zb).
Now, the problem i'm facing is when PC is connected first and later when laptop is connected, the computer gets disconnected. Laptop works fine. I have to restart the router to connect both.
Is it due to the difference in 802.11 G and N of Laptop and PC ?

The LAN adapter is disconnected since I'm not using it lmao. I meant the wifi adapter.So I bought this new laptop, ASUS G46vw but since yesterday I can't connect to the wifi. It connects but it shows as "Limited Connection - No Internet Access". I already went to the wireless adapter power proprieties - Power Management and unchecked the "allow the computer to turn off this device to save power" option. But I still get no internet access. Im using an old tower with XP SP3. Most if not all drivers are up to date.I recently have come home from college where the computer connected to the internet through a cable and i now have to use wireless.I went out and bought a Trendnet TEW-648UB Wireless n adapter, installed it and tried to connect to my home network.It has been going from acquiring network address to no connection every ten seconds then repeating. I am fairly sure that this is not the router because i am on my sisters desktop which is a wireless connection and im on the internet. so far i have:
checked to make sure that WZC is enabled, it is.
tried checking and unchecking the Use Windows to to configure my wireless network settings
enabling and disabling my adapter
reinstalling my adapter
repairing connection
disabling any and all firewalls
ipconfig /release
ipoconfig /renew
netsh int ip reset reset.log
netsh winsock reset catalog
lots of computer restarting
and for good measure i pinged 192.168.4.1 and ping 24.229.54.212 not sure why but kinda frustrated so why not

I'm trying to create an Ad-hoc network for use with my Android phone, however the phone does not discover the network.I've browsed various forums and tried a few things, but with no success.My laptop is able to detect other wireless networks. I have a Cisco 4402 Wireless LAN Controller and 4 x AIR-LAP1131AG-A-K9 access points.We run a combination of [WPA +WPA2]Auth(802.1x) as well as [WPA2]Auth(PSK), most people have their own login credentials...The primary client devices are MacBooks and iPhones, with some Windows and other mobile manufacturer being the minority.
The Issue I have one user (using a recent MacBook Air, latest OS, using Auth(802.1X) ), that keeps getting disconnected for no apparent reason, the user account has been setup exactly the same as every other user and his laptop doesn't have this issue when connected to other WiFi networks.It's worth noting: I noticed this particular user has a lot of "Decrypt Failed" (currently 213) associated with his MAC address, no other user on our network has a single "Decrypt Failed" associated with their MAC...

I can't connect to the internet using wireless. Can access the internet just fine with my cable. All I see is the red x and its not able to detect any networks. I reinstalled drivers, it works fine for a second, and then dies out again.

There is a poor wireless connection on my Studio XPS 1645, it seems that of all the threads I have read switching the antenna from AUTO to AUX seems to fix it. But, I have not been able to locate this antenna to modify the settings.

When I connected to the Internet by using WiFi, my laptop will suddenly disconnected. Sometimes it works to fix it with troubleshooter but sometimes I have to restart my laptop again and again. The troubleshooter mentioned it can be driver/network adapter problem but how to stop DC. I sent my laptop to the service center, they said this is not about my network adapter problem and asked me to reformat my laptop and check whether this issue can be solved or not.

I have a Ralink 802.11b/9 54 bps wireless USB adapter.I was able to install the drivers and get it so the computer sees the adapter and the adapter is able to see and connect to my wireless. It will not however connect to the internet. (I am using a HPpav a1113w with windows XP and I have a Dlink wireless router)

I haven't installed anything new lately, nothing that would affect the wireless, but my wireless suddenly stopped working. My wireless has been working successfully for the past 2 years no problems till now. I have a Dell Latitude E6410 my computer is running Windows 7 32bit. When I open up the DW WLAN Card Utility it says "There are currently no wireless adapters available and enabled. Please enable any available wireless adapters before accessing this configuration utility. I tried reinstalling drivers for the wireless but my computer says "no compatible hardware found".
Also the under the wireless adapters section of Device Manager there isn't an adapter for wireless, but there is an unknown device.

I have a Windows 7 machine that is a client to an old SBS 2003 server. I don't use the server but once a month anymore because there is some old software that I need to keep on it. I also don't want to use the server for internet access anymore. I just use a wireless adapter on the client machine for internet connection. My problem is that I can either use my wireless adaptor for internet access or connect to my server. I can't do both at the same time (I get the "multiple networks red x") and no internet access.

ok here it goes. I have a hp tx2000 laptop using vista with a alfa awuso36h usb adapter to connect to the internet. Ok heres the problem i was using this setup to connect to my neighbores wireless internet with no problems for about 2 weeks(yes they know and are fine with me using it). But within the past week (actually all of a sudden it wont work) my program that came with the adapter shows alot of networks with full signals but when i connect to any of them it shows connected but wont actually bring up the internet. When i click on i.e. It says i.e. Cannot display the webpage. And if it actually does take me to google it will disconnect for no reason and reconnect to a random network thats available. my neighbors connection i was using just all of a sudden quit working and if i try to connect to it , it says cannot connect to frontier87. Also the other networks that show up sometimes will say the settings saved on this computer for this network dont match the requirements of the network, but sometimes the same network will connect but wont actually bring up the internet. I guess i just want to know what has changed to make me not be able to use a network that worked fine for me last week.

Today I bought a TP-Link 150 Mbps Wireless PCI Express Adapter so I can pick up the internet connection in my house from my home PC. I've a Dell studio 1555, windows home premium, 4 gb ram, 320gb hdd. Till yesterday everything was fine, all of a sudden my laptop stopped connecting to internet through wireless.I have tried it in safe mode. I have tried to delete the network also but now that left me with inputting the password everytime I want to connect. Its showing all the networks available, and it shows connected. but there is a triangle on the signal. When i disconnect and connect it again, then i get an error saying "windows cannot conenct to wireless network". When i click on the Trouble shoot problems, its showing below

But still it won't connect to the network. i've been searching in the internet for solution but couldn't find it. In a couple of tech forums people posted same problem for Dell studio 1555. But there is no solution. I think it has something to do with this model? I've been using it for past 3 years without many problems(except my mike is stuck with only yahoo messenger and won't work on skype/gtalk etc)I tried to download drivers from dell and install, but it gives error saying "This software package cannot be installed on your system. Setup will now exit."
I tried removing the drivers and then rebooted the system. The drivers were then automatically installed by the windows again. I went to Intel website and it downloaded a tool to my pc to check for old drivers and it found out my adapter was not having new drivers so I downloaded the drivers from there, installed them but its still the sameThis is my wireless adapter. Everytime i plug the cable into my PC it doesn't detect it and the helper says to insert an ethernet cable.When I go to network sharing centre and check my connections it says network adaptor unplugged.im using wireless at the moment.My pc is a packard bell ipower x9810. it was windows vista but i upgraded to windows 7, i checked the packard bell website and can't find any networking adaptors. I have also checked device manager and it says - Belkin N+ wireless USB adapter #4 NVIDIA nForce 10/100/1000 Mbps Ethernet. there is no yellow exclamation mark.

Whenever i boot my machine (sometime from hibernate mode), sometimes WiFi adapter refuses to connect to internet. if i reset WiFi adapter then also it refuses to connect to internet. the only solution i found is to restart entire OS.
the Dell Wireless 1704 802.11b/g/n (2.4GHz) driver version installed is latest one

I just got an Inspiron 1520 for Christmas. So I have only been using it a few days. The first day I set up the internet connection I had no problem but now when my computer goes into sleep mode or hibernate mode I lose internet connection and it won't reconnect. It will seach for a network, then say that I have limited access or the network is unidentified. I have to either disconnect from the network and reconnect and sometimes I even have to restart the laptop to get the connection back. I have the Dell Wireless 1390 WLAN mini card.

The Wireless lan device is not displaying at all on the device manager. I have looked on the HP website and it says this model has WLan device. I got 3 windows 7 pc's at home. IP V6 and IP 4 are enabled. I setup my wireless system and it worked 100%. After 3 months I add a LAN cable to two of my PC's. This is when it all started. My internet browsing became very very slow. When i shutdown the one machine it become fast again. I did the following. Pulled the LAN cable and it was still slow. I then put the cable back and disabled the Wi-Fi and it still was very slow. I rested the defaults and restored my old backup and it still slow. Now I can get any access to the internet any more. I the disconnected the netgear router and take a cheap router with only LAN ports and it work 100%. All the above i did with many router and server reboots.

I have a usb adapter that i used to use with another computer to get internet access. now i dont have that computer but when i plug the usb adapter into my new computer it can get internet access. HOWEVER, the new computer loses connection a lot and is mighty slow sometimes. It is not that far away from the other computer. on different levels but close. I think i might have installed it wrong. what is the correct way to connect to the internet using a usb adapter to connect with a computer that gets internet connection directly? or how do i make this connection stronger/better?

I will be working from home half the time and am trying to get set up. So here it goes:
Took PC #1 home and hooked everything up. Could access Internet.Had to bring PC #2 home because #1 didn’t have the programs I needed.Hooked #2 up, no internet access.Tried different network cable – no access.Tried different router port – no access. (router port light doesn’t illuminate, neither does port on PC)My personal PC that uses the same router has internet access.Hooked #1 back up as a test – could access internet.Hooked up #2 again, did a Run, cmd, ipconfig and got “media disconnected”I brought #2 back in for a PC tech to look at. He hooked it up in his office, had internet access.Took it back home and hooked everything up.The port lights illuminated on startup; but after it got to the desktop, lights are off.Tried ipconfig again, "media disconnected”. IP address doesn’t display.
All the while I have internet access on my own PC, plus when I hook up #1 to the same port using the same cable, I have internet access, which led me to believe it's something wrong with PC #2.Tech is saying it’s a problem with my router (Cisco E2500), which I restarted too.
