Cisco :: 1105 Can't Find HW Version Anywhere On Appliance Or In WLSE Itself
Oct 20, 2005
How do I know which hardware I have? I can't find a HW version anywhere on the appliance or in WLSE itself. I am guessing 1105 beacuse I saw a 1105 as part of the path in the repository.
Because the /var is 99% full, I have problems with taking backup. I have also problems with login into the web-page. I’m authenticated, but then I get: User Role is empty.
disable telnet for ACS 1120 Appliance version 5.0.0.21 .is there anway to do it , not able to login via telnet and ssh it says wrong credentials but webgui is working fine with same user and password.
using a Cisco 5508 controller (code version 7.4.100.0) with an ACS appliance running version 4.1 or 4.2?I've found that the ACS constantly reports a 'Bad request from NAS' (Invalid message authenticator in EAP request). message. This usually indicates a mismatched shared secret but this isn't the case. The controller works fine opposite a Microsoft NPS Radius Server.
Need URL for patch 4.2.1.15.3 with comptaible for cisco acs appliance 1120 . Though its for appliance patch should be along with webserver . I have downloaded patch of SE its not comptaible to this hardware .
We have an ACE Appliance in a DMZ and the ACE Appliance's Admin Context IP is translated between ACE and ANM. The ANM Server does not get translated. It is just the opposite then in another Community discussion.
Our Problem: When adding the ACE4710 Appliance to the ANM imported Device List, we use the ACE's NATed Admin Context IP. Import works well, but ANM reflects the Admin Context IP with it's real configured IP. Polling the ACE Appliance does not work therefore.
Is there a possibility of telling the ANM, that the ACE has to be polled through a NATed IP? I could not find a field to set a NATed Mgmt IP.
Configured IP on ACE Admin Context: 192.168.0.10 NATed ACE Admin Context IP: 172.16.0.10
Imported ACE with IP 172.16.0.10 into ANM, but ANM polls for Rserver, Vserver, Probes, etc. via 192.168.0.10 - which is not reachable from the ANM.
Cant find the software version on my NCS .Apparently once we start using 3600 APs then we need to upgrade.Cisco AP 3600 was introduced in the 7.1.91 or later code stream and is supported by the following: Cisco 2500, 7500, 5508 and WiSM2 Series Controllers, and WCS 7.0.220 or later and NCS 1.1 or later.
Problem is no matter where i look i cant find the current software version for it.
I need to find an iOS version that supports BGP, Dot1q, and MPLS for either a 1800 series or 1900 series not sure the best place to find this sort of info out.
i went through the website and figured that my firmware is 1.01.05 and there's a new version availble which is 1.01.09 for my Linksys WAG200G modem since im having problem with unstable connection and now, after i updated the firmware, not only that im dropping connection heaps more, my internet connection has slowed down by alot.
In January 2012 I bought a Linksys E4200v2. I am trying to download a firmware version upgrade and it wants to know what hardware version I have. The top of my router (where the model number is displayed), only has E4200. I have looked through my receipts, the box it came in, and anything else I can find to do with the router - they all have the E4200v2. In case the 'v2' portion is for the hardware version, I do not want to download the wrong firmware version and end up with a router that doesn't work
what options are available to a customer with 800 APs that is finally migrating to a centralised model and therefore migrating from WLSE to WCS? Assuming that they move to v8 of WCS can they upgrade their WLSE licenses to WCS?
I can't find the correct driver for Belkin F9L1101 Version 1 USB Wireless adapter. When I went here [URL] and installed the software my Windows 7 Pro w/64 bit does not recognize the adapter. When I go to Device Manager it does see the Belkin under other devices. When I choose the folder the drivers are located /program files (x86) it says it can't find the driver in that location.
I cant find the WUSB600n ver.2 drivers on your support page: url...When I click "Version 1.0" it shows me the Win7 driver but by clicking "Version 2.0" it just says: "Guides and Information" but theres no drivers. I suppose it's a bug.I have a new Laptop so I need the Win7 64bit driver for ver.2.
I cannot access WLSE, after migration from ACS 4.2 to ACS 5.2. WLSE was configured with tacacs+ management. In ACS 5.2 I've configured the optional custom attributes: groups = "System Admin"
McAffee scan of acs 1113 appliance running the 4.2 build 124 patch 12 version reports that a medium vulnerability exists because the system has SSH version 1. Any way to specify only version 2 or turn off SSH?
I have a WLSE Express 1030 which is not booting. The error is "GRUB loading, please wait... Error 17". The error is a mount error for the partition. I don't have a recovery disk and I am not authorised to download the disk.
I current have a network setup with five 1240AG access points. One is configured as a WDS. I also have a WLSE appliance. I have IAS configured on a domain controller running Cisco Secure ACS Agent. My setup works and my clients can authenticate with certificates to Active Directory. My problem is that I need to take my WLSE out of the mix - it is old and failing. I cannot afford a replacement. I know that in order to use WDS, I have to have a WLSE.
So my question is this. If I configure my APs so that do not participate in SWAN, and leave them setup to use EAP and point to my Windows IAS for RADIUS, running Cisco Secure Agent, will they be able to authenticate still.
To be honest, I set this up a long time ago and I cannot remember if the WLSE is required for domain authentication. I know if offered Domain Authentication and I have my Windows Server setup in there. So I am not sure if my APs can authenticate directly to the Windows Server without it.
Running WLSE 1.3 and it shows No Data Available. Checked the task history for Inventory collection and it is not collecting. All the processes are running. Unable to gather data. SNMP community strings are configured and devices are accessible (AP350's).
My WLSE 1030 hard drive failed and I have replaced it with a new drive but when I boot from the 2.15 recovery CD the disc boots and runs, within the console connection I get the error "ERROR: version information not found in flash" the disc is the ejected and the system reboots. How can I reload the system software.
We are looking to upgrade our WiSMs to version 7.0.230.0, but the Cisco compatibility matrix suggests we need to upgrade WCS to the same version (it is currently on 7.0.172.0). My question is can we upgrade the WiSMs and do the WCS at a later date with no issues or do we need to do them at the same time to keep visibility of everything?
The reason I ask is that some of my clients use lobby ambassador for some of their users and they will need wireless access on the day we are due to upgrade WCS (the WiSMs are due to be upgraded and rebooted earlier that morning.
Can't see this in the documentation, as only Solaris to soft appliance is mentioned, so does anyone know if you can migrate data from LMS 4.0.1 on Windows 2008 to the soft appliance on LMS 4.1?
After upgrading our Cisco MSE to 7.4, the appliance does not stay connected to the network. Once the appliance is restarted, layer 3 echoes occur for about 2 minutes and then stop. The only way to get it to respond again, is to restart the appliance. Again, after a few minutes, it stops responding. I've checked the switch, and there is no port security set up on it. I've checked ACL's, and other potential culprits to no avail. The MSE interface is set up, and the device is configured.
I'm currently trying to install the Cisco LMS 4.2 Appliance on a VMware vSphere 4.0 environment.I'm following the [URL]. I downloaded the Cisco_Prime_LAN_Management_Solution_4_2.iso and I started the server.I get this screen and I choose option 1:
I try to upgrade LMS 4.2 to LMS 4.2.1 on a soft appliance and i got this error. To upgrade from LMS 4.2 to LMS 4.2.1:
